Just a couple of hours after my mother…read morepassed away the hospital was already putting pressure on us to provide the funeral home information. We called around to a few funeral homes and immediately ruled them out based on the first impression over the phone. Then we found Countryside. They really took care of us and walked us through this difficult process. They did an amazing job preparing our mother for the viewing. We had heavy hearts walking into the funeral home on the day of the wake bc we were afraid to see her. But to our relief she looked like our mom. She looked like the mother we all knew before she got sick. She looked peaceful. It helped make the rest of the day easier. The funeral home is well kept and comfortable. They cater to only one service at a time which is really nice. Plenty of parking. They also had a nice kitchenette for the family to use. I wanted to write this review as a way to say Thank you to Countryside for the time and effort that you put into making the whole process easier for us.

Each obituary has its own unique song or musical piece that plays when you open it, and every one is different; different genres, themes, and instrumental styles. It truly feels as though they carefully choose music that reflects the personality or spirit of each loved one. One detail that especially touched me was that they even added a baseball song, I believe it was "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" for someone who loved baseball. Small touches like that make the memorial feel deeply personal and meaningful for families and friends. It's also heartwarming for people like me who will sometimes read obituaries of people I never had the chance to know or meet.

It fits what he would have liked, it's calm and peaceful. There's a tree nearby, many trees through out, but it's still close enough to the road where there's some hustle and bustle. When he was buried, the people who helped were kind and compassionate. There's many historical and beautiful gravestones and mausoleums too. It's just a nice calm final resting spot.
