They did a good job on this came out and gave me a price at no charge. My only issue with the job was a decent size chip in the countertop after installation. I can't say whether this was from my family or the contractors, or the slab itself so no big deal, I can live with it. Overall I would say they're ok for installing stone countertops. The second job was some demo/prepping and hanging drywall for a small bathroom remodel. The owner "John"/Jiang was quick to come out and walkthrough. He showed me where some other areas of my homes drywall work had flaws and said "you won't see that with us" he made a lot of comments about our other contractors, etc but we agreed eventually on a GREAT price so I went with him. The work was sloppy, the cuts on the drywall were horrible they took my personal tools at times to use without asking as I had other people I was doing myself going on in the house. One of the things I didn't appreciate was that the owner kept telling me how he's not making money on the job. Although unfortunate, he was the one who agreed to the price which is what I wanted to spend. So I'm not sure if he did poor work as "retaliation" for that but it wasn't good. I ended up fixing some of the the drywall work and shower prep work that they did and the tile installer had to do quite a bit of additional prep to the shower to the framing plumb that they installed. Overall I would NOT recommend for drywall or carpentry jobs.

I checked out options at 4 different companies before I found BFH. After I spent 15 minutes chatting with Mark Elwell, the owner, and Norma, I knew I was finished searching. I was quoted what any other licensed company would have charged but I had no other choice. When they were here to work there was usually multiple kids here painting. Not adults. And not professionals. So I guess that's why the work turned out looking like kids did it. They didn't tape things off nor did they use drop cloths and was very vocal about not getting paint in the house or the rock beds due to the house being up for sale. Paint is EVERYWHERE and roller marks all over the place. On top of that they painted (or didn't I should say) the interior doors. They look worse than they did when I sent them with them. So if you want to pay professional rates, for Children's work, more work than you started with, and for shortcuts to be taken then these are your guys. Also after contacting them about the results after payment... no response.

As a vacation rental owner, were initially impressed with their sales pitch. Jason promised that as…read morelong as we provided pictures with explicit details, they would use a binder, prepared specifically for our property to go room by room and leave the property exactly the way we asked, to include any details that we wanted like watering our plants and checking the internet service each time as a final check. None of this ever never happened and we had to constantly remind them to do things the way that we had asked. There was one instance where the cleaning and staging were so bad, that we had to bring in a 2nd cleaner who worked alongside me to set things up the correct way, all within a very short window between guests. I eventually discovered that "VacayClean" does not actually do any of the work. They only subcontract other cleaners from other cleaning companies to come in and do the work for them! This realization explained why it was actually "MaidinOahu" doing the work when we called. "MaidnOahu" gave us a very professional response and a full refund for this day, which we were thoroughly pleased with. We agreed to continue to work with them after they agreed that they had not held up their end of the deal. Then, when we contacted VacayClean to book the next quarter's cleanings, we were told that they had no availability. We felt that this was obvious retaliation since their subcontracted cleaners had eaten the costs, leaving us without a vetted cleaning service for our upcoming bookings. This was perhaps the most unprofessional aspect of this entire experience. Overall, the first couple of cleanings were good, but none of the stagings that we had agreed upon were. Eventually, and with constant coaching, they came closer to the standard that they themselves had promised, but it was still nothing like the quality and reliability we had been promised by an extremely convincing sales pitch. Summary: There are an infinite number of good cleaning services in Waikiki. VacayClean is not one of these services since they are a cleaning service booking agency. We did not receive the services promised. I do not understand any of these 5 star comments, perhaps they are employees or friends since this was absolutely not the same experience that we had.

We have used their deep cleaning and recurring services twice so far for a 4bdrm/2bthrm home, and already have booked again for upcoming cleanings. Jason is extremely responsive, and he even made suggestions on what home items we could use to save on costs in the long run, e.g. sturdy stone bath "rugs" that we can replace our white cotton ones with since ours get frayed and require constant cleaning, Citrus Magic Fallon showed us areas of the house that the last cleaner completely missed, e.g. parts of the stove under the burner grate, around the stove knobs, etc, and it was lovely to converse with them to learn some of their cleaning secrets/products. They are easy to work with and so far other reviews echo the same sentiments. We learned that they also do outdoor power washing services for the outside of the home, which we plan to do sometime soon. They can even do some outdoor cleaning if we need those services. Very happy with them, 5 stars for sure and would recommend to anyone else that needs cleaning!
