A friend started taking me to this diner when I came to visit her and it has since become our regular place to eat when we don't know what to eat. Wahi's is humble, not pretentious and full of kindness. There's one lady in particular who works Friday nights normally and is the most genuine person. Never gets an order wrong and is attentive without being overbearing. For me if you can do the simple things good, I'll keep coming back. I always order a ham omelette with home fries and a side of white toast with butter/grape jelly. Never fails to fill my belly and leave me satisfied. Sure the atmosphere could definitely be worked on but nonetheless, we all go for the food and warm service. Pretty easy, no frills dinner. I stopped in for a quick breakfast and had the waffle deluxe, which was massive. The dish came with a Belgian waffle (obviously), sausage, bacon, and ham. I also added an order for scrambled eggs for $1.75. Because what's a waffle meal without a side of eggs? Overall the meal was pretty average.
