I love coming to this place because the food is always fresh and good. I am never disappointed after eating at New ranch. The staff is really fast so don't be afraid if you see many people in there. They seem to have a good system working for them because its always a good experience. My Breakfast order comes with a tea or coffee which is cool. I always get home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a toasted bread. Just writing this review makes me hungry lol I'll be going here as long as I can! We decided to stop by this restaurant for a quick breakfast and to get away from the rain. Upon entering, we were greeted, and told to pick any seat. Even though it was packed, the waitress was able to take our order pretty quickly. I ordered the western omelet with home fries. It comes with a small orange juice, coffee ( or tea), and buttered toast with jam. If you're looking for a peaceful breakfast spot, this is NOT the place. It is loud, and since the kitchen is open you hear all of the orders that come in. The food came in pretty quickly. If truth be told, I'd probably really give it 3.5 stars. The food was good! I really enjoyed the fries. However, the waitress, probably since they were so understaffed, was in such a rush that she had her thumb on the inside of my plate. Just tried placing an order for pickup after reading their menu online. I asked for an order of buffalo wings and an order of chicken fingers and two fresh squeeze lemonades that online states its $4.20 for each order wings and fingers. $1.75 each for the lemonades. I asked the total. $28.50!!! I asked how? She then answers that the meals are $9.25 each and the drinks are $5.00 EACH!! I then mentioned to the young lady on the phone about the online prices. Her answer was they charge for the aluminum plate. -_- I was so shocked, I just hung up. I couldn't believe how ridiculous she sounded. I use to go to Ranch, but due to COVID-19 I haven't had a chance to visit, just left Ranch Jamaican Restaurant and the attitude, my GOD I mean come on I'm visiting from Upstate and wanted to give back to the community by spending my money with them. But I just couldn't accept a plate from someone giving me attitude for simply calling in an order when I'm parked right outside the store by a bus stop. This place gets jammed packed on the weekends! You'll have to get in before 9 AM In order to get a booth. There's only ten booths and two tables. It's a small place but the service is always pleasant and attentive. This is one of my husband's favorite dinner. Our favorite waitress Dee Dee knows exactly what he orders before we orders it and with me I change around but knows my usuals as well. I always ask for my Homefries well done and the bacon as well. This diner has been here for a very long time. Every time I have to use the Morrison Station, I stop here for breakfast. It's a nice, little small diner that seats about 50 people at tables. So here we are some time later, after a stellar review, and I call to place an order for delivery and I'm told that I'm too far. Keep in mind the diner across the street delivers here all of the time. No real reason just that I'm "too far". I explained that they have delivered here before, even fairly recently, but it fell on deaf ears as I was talking to the owner. I just finished having breakfast here! Went there with a friend (life brother) of my . Let's began with the place, its cozy, warm, family oriented environment . (+ they deliver to people close by) Let's continue with the people, super friendly, accommodating. The lady serving us was great! Brough us a glass of water, small glass of juice AND COFFEE! All at once! I though that was very unique. Now to the food. It was good.not great holy shit it's awesome but good. I had pancakes, they were good and I had unlimited amount of syrup which is super also. My daughter and her friend ordered their so called Cuban sandwich for lunch yesterday between 1200 and 2 o clock pm on 8/24/2020.Only to discover that it was not a Cuban sandwich but also got them both sick!I I was outraged to say the least . The sandwich that was given to them consist of sesame roll,turkey,ham swiss cheese and greasy rubbery pork skin.THAT IS NOT A @#$%^ing cuban sandwich! Best breakfast and lunch spot around the neighborhood. Food is always great and the service is always cheerful and quick. They get packed on the weekends so expect your order to take a little longer. Aaaouuugh jeeeeez this diner can use some improvement. Don't ever expect a meal from new ranch to always turn out good. For example, New ranch could conjur up some nice pork sausages in the morning but there are also times their sausages could be dry and stale. Sometimes mistakes can be made when orders are taken via phone delivery. There menu isn't all that broad and I'd say this would make more of a cafe then a diner in some places. read more
