Cauliflower bites, salsa and chips, sweet potato taquito with chipotle mayo and feta

Came here because food pics looked good and was not disappointed. Salsa was outstanding, cauliflower bites were divine, sweet potato and feta taquito literally blew my mind. There was no street corn on cob to be had (it's no longer offered) but I will still be coming back to try a few more menu items and definitely recommends this place as a super reasonably priced spot with creative flavor combos and tons of great vegetarian options!

Lovely meal found it a tad on the small side though. Not much good for what you pay. The drinks were worth it - you can actually taste the alcohol.

I had a dinner date last night with my boyfriend and this was our choice of restaurant. We opted to be seated indoors for a more private atmosphere. The server was very courteous. Her name was Ida. The menu can be a bit confusing with side orders, combos and sizes but Ida explained in detail how everything works. I really enjoyed my peach cocktail. It was a bit strong... The caesar salad tortilla dish was great. I think that was our fave dish. Overall a decent experience for the evening.

If you go to Wahaca, you're going to have a good meal. Plain and simple. I popped in before the dinner rush with my mom. The atmosphere is always nice and we kept the smiles rolling with some tortilla chips & guacamole (which seemed to be some older brown guac mix with newer, greener guac. This has happened at the CG location too.) The servers are knowledgeable on the vegan options and food comes pretty quickly for how busy they can be. I love that even the veggie options keep changing so I can always try new things, and continuing to cover them with the sauces on the table (as usual, check the ingredients). Sharing is always a nice option to split the bill. There are lots of sharing plates to choose from. And even dairy-free horchata and hot chocolate to choose from for a drink! You'll be seeing me soon!

I love Wahaca, straight up love it. I'd never been to this one though, Waterloo is my usual haunt and somehow this one didn't quite seem to live up to their standard. Don't get me wrong, it was still good. Annoyingly the big plate pork pibil seems to have disappeared from the menu again, which in itself is a travesty. I can honestly attest to that being a serious contender for my death row last meal, so finding it unavailable meant I was almost inconsolable for the entire meal anyway. Still, I held it together and made do with the little pork pibil tacos, which were great but they are a pretender to the throne of their big brother. If you haven't been to a Wahaca before it's basically mexican street food style dishes, all fairly small. You order a few and eat them as and when they turn up. I've always really enjoyed eating at the Waterloo branch, the menu changes enough to keep things fresh. Having said that, in this location you are spoilt for choice for similar dining opportunities so I don't know how they compare to all the other mexican restaurants along the street.

Tacos were not good if you've ever had real tacos. White washed Mexican food. Pass. I'd rather go to a proper pub.

The location is fantastic, the customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere made for a really enjoyable breakfast. I started with a cappuccino and added salted caramel, but honestly, the cappuccino was so good it didn't even need it. It was smooth, rich, and perfectly made on its own. For breakfast, I ordered the Eggs Benedict. They offer two versions: one with pulled beef and one Florentine. As someone from the US who's a bit of an Eggs Benedict snob, I've tried countless versions over the years, and pulled beef just wasn't something I could picture working with it. I went with the Florentine and customized it by adding bacon, avocado, and a side of sausage. One thing I've learned while visiting the UK is that the sausages are much larger than what I'm used to back home! I honestly could have skipped it because it was so filling. The Benedict itself was unique--the base was almost like a buttery croissant instead of a traditional English muffin, and it came with pickled red onions, which was an interesting touch. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and I especially enjoyed it with the added bacon. The food was fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside, but I chose to sit outside and enjoy some people watching, which made for a relaxing start to the day. Overall, a great breakfast spot with delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.
