This place is right next to the Flying Pan, the popular 24 hour breakfast spot. Well, Wagyu Lounge must have said "Hey, the Flying Pan does a pretty good breakfast crowd. Let's tap into that and offer breakfast as well."
So in addition to being a bar, lounge and eatery, they offer breakfast (thus the reason as to why I was there). Kind of a varied menu including eggs, pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, fresh juices, etc. I loved that their breakfast menu included a dish of oven baked salmon, eggs and asparagus as a breakfast dish. This is up my alley and what I ordered. My husband had fruit topped pancakes. My salmon was good and the pancakes were so-so.
Prices are high, for the location is indeed in Central. It has the feeling that it is a bar/lounge first and a breakfast spot second or third. There were not many patrons at 9:30AM on a Sunday, but not sure that is a reflection of the establishment, but more that breakfast and brunch tends to get rolling post 10AM around here.
Although it is not the best breakfast I have had, I thought it was OK and would consider going back if I was in the area. I liked that there was not a lot of people and it was easy to get seated and be served. read more
