My dachshund's needed a new food as the food they had been on for a long time was causing them to scratch themselves. Probably do to a formula change in the food. I went into Wagsburgh and spoke with the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful. I told the owner that I had itchy dachshund's and asked what he recommended. The owner was extremely knowledgable about the products he carries and gave me a great recommendation. Our pups love the new food and they have stopped scratching. I always like dealing with a local small shops in the area even if I pay a few bucks more, Rather than give it to a huge chain store or a place like Chewy or Amazon. Do right for your local community and vendors always by local when you can

2 stars mostly for selection. Many fish. Also had snakes, lizards, turtles, a few birds, etc…read more However, the store was disorganized and messy. The aquariums didn't seem very clean. I also had a difficult tone finding an employee.

The rabbits and guinea pigs here are kept in terrible condition. I attached photos of the rabbits…read more They're kept in way too small of cages. The one rabbit didn't even really have any food. Rabbits are prone to digestion issues and need to be able to be constantly eating. There weren't any hideaways provided for them, or any toys for enrichment or to chew on and keep their teeth down. I didn't get pictures of the guinea pigs. Their cage was literally just stacked on top of the rabbits'. But they also didn't have any toys and no hideaways. Because of this, they were visibly super stressed out because they were kept front and center of the store and didn't have any place to hide and get away from the stressors. The top of their cage was also just open and I saw little kids reaching their hands in without any employees around to facilitate customers interacting with the animals like that. Honestly terrible for everyone involved because A.) The kids could get bit B.) It stresses out the animals C.) The animals are learning to be afraid of people are going to be difficult to socialize with anyone that takes them home and D.) Any germs on the kids' hands could easily be transmitted to the animals and make them sick. This store should just stick with fish honestly. I'm not as knowledgeable about the other kinds of animals they have as I am about guinea pigs and rabbits, but the owners definitely either don't care about the animals or are just really uneducated about the animals they're selling.

My review is only based on my training experience as I have not used any other services here…read more We have brought our pup to two different one-on-one training sessions here and it has been absolutely worth every penny. Brett Reynolds is the trainer and I would recommend him to anyone that wants to modify their dog's behavior! We adopted a Min-Pin Terrier mix puppy at about 7 months old. He was social at the dog park and was very friendly with people whether at our house or elsewhere. Around 10 months, we began seeing some different behaviors in our little pup, especially when on leash around other dogs or when there was a fence between him and other dogs or people. It got to the point where we were no longer comfortable taking him out as regularly and stopped going to the dog park. We have since learned that our little baby suffers from something called "barrier aggression." I explained the situation to Brett through a phone conversation and a few follow-up emails. When we arrived for our session, we talked through specifically what we wanted to work on and then got started. I learned so much in an hour! It was not only helpful in modifying my dog's behavior, but also in giving us the confidence in training him properly. We purchased a Gentle-Leader collar which has worked great for us. We also learned certain commands to direct and distract him around other dogs, which avoids him escalating into a blind rage where it is very difficult to calm him down. At the end of the session, Brett brought another dog into the room and we were able to try out the new commands while we still had him there to give us feedback. We have continued everything we've learned in the two sessions during our time at home and have noticed a significant change in our dog's behavior. He's not perfect by any means, but seeing the progress he's made is motivation for us to remain consistent and follow-through with everything we learned from Brett. I look forward to more training sessions and possibly trying an agility class in the future!

My dog was attacked by another dog during her 4 days stay, sustaining bite marks on her eye and paw, then we we're lied to about the severity (they had to carry her to the car). They have refused to return our calls since the incident, I have left 2 messages and called 4 times in the last week without any response. If you care about your pet, go somewhere else.
