They are open until 5. If you pick up your pets after the noon hour-you are charged for a full nights kenneling. It is not a doggy day care, or an hourly penalty. This is their right. I am sharing for anyone who is scheduling a stay, so they do not get blindsided by an additional days charge. Again, if you place your pets in their care, at least you can be rest assured they will be safe.

I adopted him at 10 weeks (which I believe is too young but the dog's parent were not at shelter). I was deceived by the workers who said the puppy was very healthy, he only needed his rabies shot). He seemed to have had kennel cough which I was going to make an appointment for. Sadly his symptoms were too bad to wait for a vet so I took him to the ER. Thousands of dollars later, they said his kennel cough turned into severe pneumonia and they said his chances of survival were extremely low even with treatment. I am heart broken for my puppy who was failed by the people who surrendered him and also this shelter the puppy ended up at. He also had two siblings who are currently still at the shelter who probably have severe pneumonia now too. I do not recommend Barely Used Pets.

The 2nd time I take my dog there they call about 30 mins after they start grooming him and say he is bleeding from his genitals and they cannot finish the cut or bath him. Which was understandable. I then go to pick up my dog to take him to the vet and they only accepted cash or check so I told them I would bring the money to them after his vet appointment. They told me that the I owed $80 and to bring him back at a later date so they can finish the cut and bath him and I would just pay them for the bath and rest of the cut. I went to the bank and withdrew the $80 even though I thought that was a crazy amount for half a cut and proceeded to go to the vet. My vet then tells me that my dog has trauma to his penis area. They were unable to say exactly what happened but said it was fresh blood and it recently happened. So my mother in law tried to call them twice and explain what the vet said and state that we feel we should not have to pay due to the circumstances and that they should pay for the vet bill as well. The place did not answer the phone. I then get a call from a police officer asking why I did not pay for the service and I explained to them what had happened and the police officer said to handle it basically how I already am and tell her that I am now stuck with a $113 vet bill due to my dog having to get antibiotics and a shot for the swelling. The owner proceeds to tell me that they vet couldn't say exactly what happened so she is not paying the vet bill. My dog was not injured when we dropped him off. He was not bleeding. He didn't not hit his genitals on our car (like the owner gave as an example for the reason behind his trauma) there is a video of him before the cut not bleeding and then pictures of him bleeding after he was on their table and the cut has started. I do not believe they purposely harmed my dog but they also did not handle the situation professionally and own up to my dog somehow getting injured while on their table. The owner would not even call me to speak about it she would only message me on Facebook. Very unprofessional. They are also the ones who took these videos and pictures. TAKE CAUTION IF YOUR PET IS ON MEDICATION!!! I boarded my dog here from 8-9 June 2025. I gave them…read moreher medication with instructions to give it to her the morning of the 9th, as she had already been given her dose for the 8th. When I went to pick her up at or about 1539 (charged for another day since it was after 1200), I was told by the staff I talked to (there were 3) that my dog had not been given her meds at all, with no answer as to why. I asked if someone could call me with an answer. I gave her the dose as soon as I got her in my truck. Mike called and left a VM saying she did in fact get her dose that morning. When I called back to inform him that I just double dosed my dog with Prozac based on their misinformation, all he basically had to say was "sorry " and "better call your vet." If you are considering patronizing this business, please take this incident into consideration. For all they know a double dose could have killed her, and with certain other medications, it could in fact have. It's a shame because I was a regular customer and this location is very convenient for me. However, I think this was a pretty close call. Add the apparent lack of concern by the management, and I can no longer, with any good conscience, trust this facility with my dog.

I was impressed with the clean facility, nice helpful, efficient staff when I dropped off the pets. My wife picked one of the standard plans that provided walks and play time sessions for the beagle. The facility has spacious outdoor areas for walking and play. I did not see kennel area, but was assured that dog had his own cage. The cats were housed in spacious individual cages that have several compartments - one for water, one for food, a sleeping compartment and nice lounging area each. Before dropping off the pets, we had to present pet's current vaccinations records. Also, provide pet food (bagged for each meal).
