I can't say enough about this business. I have a cat that has hyperthyroidism. She was not doing well at all. I needed to spoon feed her because she stopped eating and has no meat on her frame. I wanted to feed her the healthiest food I could without all the terrible ingredients. I first called My Pet Naturally which is their sister store, and spoke to the owner Mike. Once I told him what was going on he immediately told me to call his wife Maggie who's a nutritionist. I called her and she gave me great information. She and Mike both were very helpful and had great customer service. I ended up going to the store (wags n whiskers). Upon entering Maggie, was very friendly and I got great quality food for a really good price. The best part is when I got home and offered it to my cat that hasn't eaten on her own for over 3 days she began to gobble it up. I will definitely be continuing to get her food from here. Great prices, and amazing customer service, and high quality food.

I love supporting small business, especially when they're really good! If you need a new place to shop for your fur babies this is it! We have a cat and a dog and I have never been so excited to shop for them! The owners are the sweetest couple and you can tell they really care about the health and happiness of our little babies! Please go here! I promise you'll find something new and unique! I also love learning new ways to care for my fur babies and they're so knowledgeable here. Thanks y'all!

such a cute pet shop filled with goodies! it's a little small in the inside but there's plenty to choose from. i saw vitamins, treats, toys, shampoo, and even a kit to make dog safe cupcakes! the owner is super sweet! this store has such a great variety of products and items for dogs and cats. it can be a little pricy but there's also affordable options. definitely worth checking out if you have pets of your own and want to give them the best products

I stopped in this morning with our current foster, Maple, as she is a big chewer and needed a new bone to help stimulate her while resting as she has a lot of energy as a 1yo pup :) Mike was incredibly helpful. He was full of recommendations and even allowed Maple to sample one of the bones his dog has been working on in addition to a Pork Chip treat. They have an incredible selection of healthy food & treats for dogs and cats. We brought home some Sweet Potato treats for a dual purpose of a reward which is also a great source of fiber & calcium. Maple found herself a toy she couldn't leave without (Santa) and since we are fostering, Mike let her bring it home as a gift. I love to support small business and hope you'll give them a try!

Our favorite pet store, so many natural healthy organic products to choose from and the owners are so lovely. Love supporting this local home town business. They have helped get my pups health on track way more than any vet. So grateful

My boyfriend and I stopped in for the first time last week with our puppy. Mike was a wealth of information and answered all our questions. They have a large, curated selection of high-quality and healthy pet brands, many of which weren't even carried by our local Healthy Spot or other pet shops. Additionally, Mike's wife, Maggie, is a dog nutritionist who can guide you and answer any questions you may have. Although she wasn't at the store when we visited, she kindly answered our questions via speakerphone! We love supporting local small businesses and will be making many more future visits.

Our dog love Wags n Whiskers! We walk her by the park next to the store and she drags us here whenever she gets the chance. Every time we visit, the workers are very patient and knowledgeable when answering our questions. They offer a wide variety of healthy dog treats, while also giving plenty of samples. We will be making many future visits and thank them for their incredible kindness!

Thank you Maggie with your help in getting the Evangers food for my dogs. They are nuts about this food as you can see my female Cali just can't wait for some.

I dropped off my 6-month-old miniature poodle mix--this was his 4th time being groomed, and he has never had any issues before. He is hyperactive, which I had already noted for the groomers. I was assisted by Sofia, who asked what length I wanted for his haircut. Unlike previous visits where groomers show examples, she didn't. I told her I wasn't sure and mentioned it's usually the second-to-last shortest. She responded, "so a number 2 in humans?"--again, I said I wasn't sure. She said she would show me, but never did. After weighing him (15 lbs), I asked about his weight and she replied, "probably all that food he's been eating," which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. About two hours later, I received a call saying my dog bit her. This was extremely surprising given his history--he has never shown aggression or bitten anyone. They told me he had "a little attitude" after being bathed and then bit her during shaving. When I picked him up, he was acting very unlike himself--distant and withdrawn. Once home, I checked him and noticed he was bleeding. I immediately called back, and the response I received was concerning. They referred to him as "the one who tried biting the groomer," which conflicted with what I had initially been told. After putting me on hold to "ask the groomers," they came back and said, "the only logical explanation is when he was trying to bite, he must've bit something." That explanation did not sit right with me at all. My dog left the appointment physically injured and emotionally off, despite having no prior issues with grooming. I feel the situation was not handled with transparency or care. I strongly advise others to be cautious when using grooming services here.

They have treat samples which my very picky Shih Tzu (Ginger) actually ate??? (CRAZY!) This is also one of the few foods she could tolerate. With Farmer's dog she developed yellow sticky bowels because of the amount of fat in their diets, and she has a hard time with kibble because of her teeth, we did freeze dried but heard that raw isn't the way to go because of potential contaminants, but she always had firm brown bowels and no problems with this brand (at least so far)! Not to mention she had more choices here which we were really happy about. I told Amy about her allergies and she made us a booklet, noted Ginger's allergies (unfortunately there was 4), and marked all the diets that did not have any of the ingredients she was allergic to! She definitely knows the diets well and her recommendations were top tier (no itching) Not to mention the other owners who came by--I managed to ask one other owner who came with her wonderful adopted terrier mix who has been eating JFFD for a year, and she said that her dog was also very sensitive with food and found JFFD to be the only one to work for him. Although he is definitely less picky, she said his skin is definitely a lot healthier and I could also tell since her dog's hair was so soft and there were no tear stains--it was great. So far Ginger loves it too! Especially the brisket and pork treats... it just had to be the expensive ones . But I'm just glad she hasn't been doing her picky hunger strikes because she literally would bile vomit just to prove a point--that's gone for now, and there are a lot of other options too so we are not too concerned if she does decide that she's bored of one flavor. Thanks JFFD! My second visit this week also was great (didn't get to ask for a name but she was also wonderful) and answered all my questions about food appearance with the different batches sometimes it's more chopped or whatever but they said it doesn't alter the formula, and also that it's ok to heat it up for 10 seconds but nothing more to not burn off the vitamin mix they provide on the food.

Most tanks were maintained and maybe one or two small ones needed attention. I spent lots of money on back to back visits. 7 months later went for more corys and unfortunately some changes have brought on this review. Peering into some of the very first tanks as I walked in, I'm noticing dead fish sprinkled about. I understand they could've had a busy rush, but they didn't look freshly deceased. Not a good look. Algae growth in some areas, yikes!.. and this is the first time seeing significant hair algae in a high tech display tank. Higher prices on basic plants than the competitors. They aren't rare, large or fancy and half are raggedy or already dying. Their anubias (cased) used to be BIG and impressive, but now small and they're charging the same price. Lady behind the counter helped me, but when she made a "portion" of guppy grass I discovered it was HALF the portion those guys have given me in the past. And I still got charged $8.99 for it! Not like they didn't have enough to sell- they definitely did, but even so I feel she should've pro-rated for just plucking out 5-6 sprigs. I also bought some (Venezuelan?) corys, albino corys and amano shrimp. The Venezs are super happy but now I see one has white on his back, hoping that's not fungus! And sadly two of the albinos didn't make it so far. They were tiny and delicate, so it might've just been a sensitive species (even though I acclimated them slowly over hours) but still that's money I'm out. The good part is they have a pretty wide freshwater fish and shrimp variety and most of the tanks are kept clean. Fish I've bought previously are still happy and thriving. They also have a large supply of dry goods, frozen food and supplies which is convenient. Parking is plentiful in the rear and access through the back of store is awesome. I still want to check out the new fish they get in. Don't know if I can trust in it sadly. *EDIT* The owner reached out to resolve the portion issue. I'm hoping they fix the rest so I have confidence with live purchases again.
