Best damn pot roast sandwich I've ever had. Add the potato salad and pickles and you're about to enter the heaven gates! Get em cowboy !

Down home cooking roadside stop with a touch of nostalgia. The signature pot roast skillet doesn't disappoint. Good portion size and some toast that I didn't see in description. Great food, service and atmosphere.

It's a cozy place, and you can charge your EV simultaneously. First time - approximately $34 * Steak & Eggs (8oz hand cut sirloin) with potatoes & side of biscuit with homemade gravy $22.99 * Full stack pancakes $8.99 Steak was cooked perfectly and oh-so tender. Serena was very bubbly and attentive. We will be back.

Always wanted to stop in, finally did. The interior is super cute and what you would expect from a cute Route 66 type diner. The service was excellent, Lori H our server was kind and attentive. The food was really good. We tried the cinnamon roll French toast and the pot roast melt with fries. The cinnamon roll French toast was delicious and definitely recommended. The pot roast melt was a solid diner style sandwich. The bread on the sandwich was perfectly toasted, not soggy or greasy. The pot roast was tender, in my opinion the sandwich overall lacked some pizazz but it still was good enough to clear my plate. The French fries were delicious and fried perfectly, nice and warm. Definitely worth a stop in here!

This is a popular place on Route 66 and we were seated immediately. They were about half full and you could tell from surrounding conversations mostly locals. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. Our food arrived hot and did not disappoint. The portion sizes were ample and very filling. My chorizo was made to perfection and even the tortillas were homemade. My friend said his skillet with the pot roast was amazing but the biscuit and gravy tasted out of a can. The place is full of memorabilia from the Route 66 days and they play laid back days. Enjoy if you pass through.

Traveling back to CA from Lake Havasu. Always wanted to stop at the Wagon Wheel. Route 66 has some wonderful nostalgic places to experience. We We're not disappointed. Our server, Jennifer, was so nice. Our meals came out quickly and piping hot. Loved the old school ambiance. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling this highway.

Fun decorating all throughout the restaurant. Also has a small gift shop. The service was also great. Our server was on her game. I had high hopes for the breakfast but was a little bit disappointed or maybe I lighter word for disappointment because it wasn't super bad. The chicken fried steak was way too chewy. I've never had one that I didn't love but I would definitely try an omelette instead. Also did a side of biscuits and gravy and those were just OK. The best tasting part was my son's kids French toast. Good quick off the road stop on the way home.

Whenever we're on a road trip from Cali to Arizona, Wagon Wheel is a great spot for some honest grub. The latest visit was satisfying, as usual. Service friendly, food came fast and tasted great. Prices are fair, too. I had the chicken fried steak with green beans and baked potato. The green beans were cooked perfectly, not mushy which can happen in diner type restaurants. Wife got a patty melt and sweet potato fries. All delicious! We will be back.

Great place to grab lunch and charge the car (in their parking lot). The place is rustic filled with Route 66 and alien paraphernalia. Fortunately, we arrived after the lunch crowd. Friendly service. You can order breakfast or lunch. We ordered Cornbeef Hash with biscuit and gravy and Eggs Ranchero. Everything was delicious and filling.

We always stop here on our way home from the Lake. AC is running cold and the food is tasty. Breakfast or Lunch, you'll get a good meal.

I got the country omelet. It was huge! The eggs were cooked a little hard for my liking, but overall it was very tasty. Hash browns were great. A great place in Fort Mohave. Bonanza Cafe delivers exactly what you want from a solid breakfast spot--great food, friendly…read moreservice, and zero fuss. I stopped in for breakfast and it absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the chili verde omelette, and it came smothered in flavorful verde sauce with generous chunks of pork (trimmed/very little fat) and wonderfully gooey melted cheese. The sauce wasn't spicy, but it was rich and full of flavor--comfort food at its best. I also tried my hash browns deep fried. They were definitely crunchy (mission accomplished), though I probably wouldn't order them that way again--still glad I tried it! My friend went with her go-to favorite, the chili Colorado omelette, which she's ordered before and continues to love--always a good sign when someone keeps coming back for the same dish. The service was great throughout our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance is no-frills, but that's part of the charm here: good food, good service, and a comfortable, laid-back breakfast experience. If you're looking for a reliable spot with hearty portions and classic diner vibes, Bonanza Cafe is a place worth visiting--and revisiting.

First time coming to this location 03/20/26 around 7:55-8:00 PM. Before I even opened the entrance…read moredoor, a young lady employee with her hair in a bun came rushing out, visibly upset, and slammed the door without apologizing. It wasn't a great first impression. She later came back inside, and I tried to catch her name, but she was moving quickly. I believe it started with a "B." She was such a negative vibe. As for the food: very disappointing. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was hard and overcooked. I love fish and chips, and honestly, this was the worst I've ever had. If you're someone who regularly eats this dish, you'll understand exactly what I mean. My husband ordered the prime rib, which was dry and lacked flavor. He was hungry, so he still ate it, but it definitely wasn't enjoyable. The cornbread was also dry. The only positive was our server. He was attentive and made sure we were taken care of slightly awkward, but still provided good service. The atmosphere was just okay, but there was a noticeable sewer-like smell, which made the experience even less pleasant. I've eaten at other Black Bear locations before with no issues, but this one was by far the worst. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this location and I won't be coming back!
