I researched travel trailers AND dealerships for two years before I built up the courage to start talking to salespeople. I went to 4 RV shows and watched countless videos and tutorials. I was finally ready to make a purchase but after 4 disheartening experiences with other dealers I took a chance and reached out to Wagners with an out the door offer, on a unit that was a bit out of my price range. Not only did they accept it, they didn't surprise me with one single hidden fee. Every single person we worked with, from parts, to service, to sales, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We had countless issues with our hometown mechanics prepping our vehicle to tow. The owner himself offered to deliver it so we wouldn't have to come back a third time. I have learned so much from my research and this experience, but the most important thing I learned was that there are still good, salt of the earth people out there, who want to uplift you more than make a buck off of you. Wagners has been nothing but good to us. We bought our first trailer there. They have helped us in so many ways including with our hitch, sealing our roof, and our pipes when they busted. Then we were given our parent's trailer. They fixed the leak, resealed the top, and fixed the door handle. They winterize the trailer for us and store it since we can't. Our Rv window was shattered by the grass cutters at the park where we were staying. We left Harpers Ferry heading to Louisville, KY. I noticed I had a service trailer brake light on. My wife found Wagner's RV service right on our route. I stopped in and they looked at it right away. Turns out it was just a bad connection between the trailer cord and truck receptacle. Yes I checked it all and even switched to another truck receptacle to no avail. Mechanic looked at it fixed in in a matter of minutes. No charge at all. I did tip the mechanic who refused but I couldn't not give something. We were in our way with only 15 minute side track. If you need RV help and you're in the area consider Wagner's Outdoor Express RV service. I wish I could remember the service writer and service mechanics name. You lied and said Forest River wanted to refund our money without helping to fix the camper. Your lack of professionalism and customer service did require me to go through Forest River. So yes, two years later I am posting this review because your lack of proper business etiquette impacts my camper and how I now have to address repairs. Very nice, patient, knowledgeable people in this small, low key, no pressure family run RV (Lance) center off 81 in West Virginia just southwest of Hagerstown. Some rv storage. Some new and used 5th wheels and trailers on lot. Expect to wait months for repair appointments and then again for parts orders depending on the season. (Typical for industry). read more

We moved to the area and took our RV down to these folks to go through and make sure it's ready for our next trip. Transmission oil checked and see if it needs flushed, oil changed, belts checked, sky lights checked, roof checked for any leaks, check the hydraulics, generator was flooding and wouldn't start so I wanted that checked, and everything else that goes along with going through a vehicle like this to make sure it's road ready. What I got was a bill for $365.38 and all they did was change the oil in the engine and the generator. I'm now stuck with taking my RV somewhere else to have it checked out. He did tell me he could check the generator again and tear the carburetor off and "get some new parts" and see if that fixes it. Some of the poorest service I've ever received!!! read more

They offered us a trade in value to purchase a camper they had for sale. When we took a closer look, we found structural repairs required on the camper we were going to purchase. Their solution was to tape over the defects. When we asked that they adjust the price to compensate for the repairs, or do more substantive repairs, the manager threw a tantrum about what they had offered on the trade being too high. Given that they came up with the trade in value completely on their own, their point seems nonsensical. It is sad that we, the customers, had to discover some fairly obvious defects in the camper we were thinking about buying, and Randy Wagner's approach was to behave in an immature and deeply offensive fashion. One would do well to purchase from a private seller and avoid this shop. On a previous occasion, they offered to purchase a camper we owned for $12,000. We sold it with no trouble at all for $30,000. If these numbers are at all representative of their expectations on a transaction, they expect to make tens of thousands when they buy or sell an RV, regardless of mitigating circumstances like structural defects in the camper that they are selling. Since they said that the previous owner of the RV we were thinking about buying in their words "just wanted to get rid of it," one could presume that they got it for a song. The petulant proprietors never learned that a good deal is one in which everyone is happy. It's a lot easier for a customer to be happy, when their concerns are maturely addressed. read more

We called up asking for an appointment to de-winterize our Class A RV and have an oil change. We were given an appointment time of 10AM, dropped off the RV on time, and were told they were running behind. We said OK, because we had driven 45 minutes to get there, and had brought a spare car to do some shopping and eat lunch while waiting. We called in around 2, thinking 4 hours was enough time even running behind to accomplish our requests. The receptionist said it would be 2 WEEKS before they could accomplish these tasks. What a major miscommunication for the front office - to give us an appointment without telling us it was just an appointment to DROP OFF???? We chose not to wait the two weeks. We won't be back to give them a 2nd chance, as there was no apology on their end. read more

Drove from Austin, TX to Hapers Ferry, WV for work. Opening the slide out on our 5th wheel, and it overextended and almost landed on the ground. We couldn't find anyone in the area to that wanted to tackle the job, but Vanessa Weaver, the Service Advisor, talked me into closing the trailer up and bringing it in, explaining she had the best slide out guys in the state. What I thought was going to take weeks and cost thousands ended up taking less than 2 hours and less than $200. We had a chance to meet Dave, who worked on our trailer, and he explained everything he had done. The man was fast, efficient, and incredibly friendly. I've had two jobs done here for repair on MH. I damaged the the awning on some low branches. Once we were able to get the right size awning, it was replaced without trouble. Insurance covered ok, (after deductible). Just developed problem with the slide topper hanging up the slide. Fixed in one day...loose bolts. Prices fair. I'll go back for problems I cannot do myself. read more
