They had to come back out to requote the stairs that we had already paid to be sanded and turned out like crap; been over three weeks still waiting. After follow-up call number two last Friday(5/16), I was told the treads came in, and I should get a call on that day or Monday. A slight bit of extra effort from their contractor and management would have made the difference between using the company again and recommending to other people, and choosing to go elsewhere next time.

They gave us a detailed and competitive estimate and we liked the idea that both owners of FR, Matt and Rich, would be onsite and doing a good part of the work themselves. As it turned out, they were simply excellent to work with at every stage of the process. FR is apparently a sought-after group and we waited about 4 months for them to start our project. During that time, Lindsay responded to our questions in a timely and friendly manner with detailed emails about what we should be doing in advance (e.g., selecting the tile, vanity, light fixtures etc.) and suggestions about which companies to check out in the area. Matt and Rich have assembled a group of skilled craftsmen who each are personable, hardworking and diligent. They arrived punctually at 9 am each day, worked steadily throughout the demolition, wiring, plumbing, drywalling, tiling, carpentry, painting and finishing touches. In the process, they took great care to protect our hallway tile, stairway and wood floors, kept things as tidy as possible, and cleaned up at the end of each day. As a result, we were able to stay in our house during the entire project. They completed the job in just over two weeks and it was impressive to watch how they coordinated the many different steps with a crew of 7. Matt oversaw the project, and also handled the plumbing, wiring, tiling, and more. He is particularly skilled at setting tile and did an artful job matching tile patterns on the floor and the tub surround. Rich built shelves in the bathroom and walk-in closet and they turned out beautifully with functional design and excellent craftsmanship. The team members were all easy to interact with and each showed great attention to detail and pride in their work. We've done a lot of house renovations (including 4 previous bathrooms) and it's clear to us that Falcon Renovations are at the top of their game. They do quality work, are as unintrusive as possible, listen carefully to your ideas and yet also have great suggestions, work well as a team and with other contractors, and clearly care about the quality of their work. We highly recommend them and plan to work with them again in the future on other projects.

We had a bad experience with the installer…read more When we scheduled the installation, we asked Messner to send an installer that would wear a mask. When our installer arrived, I politely asked him to wear a mask when he was in my home. My wife and I are high risk for COVID, and we wore masks when he was in our home. The installer refused to wear a mask, and he wasn't very nice about it. This installer also did quite a bit of damage to our walls during installation and to our furniture that he moved. When I brought this to Messner's attention, their general manager came to our home and repaired some of the damage, but not all of it. He promised to come back and finish repairing the damage, but we never heard from him again. I suggest you go somewhere else for your carpet if you are looking for polite and professional installation services.
