Hands down the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. Period…read more Our generator stopped automatically switching over to power our house last year, and I called them to fix it. We have had an annual maintenance contract with them. Joel came out and promptly told me we needed to replace the circuit breaker in the generator box, as it was faulty. Work was scheduled, deposit paid, and in December of last year, he replaced the breaker. All fixed. HOWEVER, in every outage since that time, the generator still does not automatically switch over to power our house. I called their office repeatedly on those occasions and your person checked with techs in the office to try various things, like switch it on and off several times to see if that would correct it. I was forced each time to stand out in the storm and rain and try things to get the generator to power our house. I eventually got it working most of the time through trial and error, although never directly as a result of the advice from their technicians. If we were not home, having the generator running merrily along with no load while we lose the contents of our refrigerator and freezer, the situation would have been even worse. Even though we have an annual maintenance contract, every time they come out, they charge a service call. During the last outage, the entire neighborhood lost power due to a downed tree, and our generator would again not automatically switch over to power our home. Yet again. Joel told me we not only needed new brushes but also a voltage regulator. No mention that the $350 circuit breaker he replaced in December was no longer the culprit. (Which means it probably did not need replacing to begin with.) An estimate was sent for $629.25 to make the repair. Then they sent me an invoice for a $250 service call, even though nothing has been fixed. Since they still did not fix the problem supposedly fixed last December, would that not qualify as a warranty issue? And what is the point of a $400 annual maintenance contract, if every time a truck shows up they send me another invoice? They have been a terribly unreliable service provider, and I would never trust their technicians.

Scheduled an appointment for a total house back up system estimate, they never showed. When they…read morereturned my call I was told that they had an emergency repair and the technician did not anticipate that the repair would take so long. That's why they never showed and they never called. Sounds like their technicians double as sales reps.
