This is one of the few sit-down restaurants in Terminal 3 at LHR. We had lots of time before our flight and decided to check it out. You sit at communal tables without backs (which isn't the most comfy), but the menu is extensive and healthy. We ordered teriyaki noodles and yakisoba noodles with shrimp, and both were good. They were very mildly spiced, though, and we both needed the seasoning spice that was on the table. I guess I was expecting more authentic and bold flavors, but this is very, very mild (perfect for fussy eaters and kids). PROS: * free hot green tea * scan a QR code to pay so no need to wait around for a slow server * plenty of healthy, vegetarian, and vegan food options * good cocktail menu for a pre-flight tipple * chopsticks, forks, and sauces on every table CONS: * service is mostly nonexistent; a server will take your order and deliver your food, but you won't see them again after that. * the kitchen is slow, so allow around 30 minutes to get your food (a real problem if you're in a rush to catch a flight) * uncomfortable picnic style, communal seating I would probably eat here again the next time I'm flying out of Heathrow, especially because there aren't many other sit down options in Terminal 3. read more

Went in early and I thought they only had breakfast, I was happy that I could also order off of the normal menu as well. I ordered a chicken katsu curry and it was ok. I wish it had a bit more sauce and that the chicken was super thin. Fast and friendly service, catering to fast moving crowds in a busy airport. Food was very tasty and came piping hot. Love their innovative way of settling one's bill. Scan the QR code on your paper placement. Our server wrote our order number and her name for us. We received our bill on my phone ( there is an opt out of their mailing list ). We had a long layover at Heathrow and wanted something comforting after a long flight . The Ramen and other options looked very inviting and we decided to try them out . We were seated immediately but were told that it will take 15-20 minutes for the food to come out . Seating is a little too close together and not very comfortable . If you have a lot of luggage , I can see that being an issue . We ordered the Korean hot pot and beer .The food took slightly less time than what they told us initially . The hot pot was a great pick because it had everything I wanted -veggies, protein and a very flavorful broth .It was the right temperature and the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked . Heathrow is always busy. I was searching for a place to sit down and have an English breakfast on my last day in the UK. While there were other restaurants offering an English breakfast in the terminal 3 waiting area, most had long lines. However, toward the fast end of the terminal, I found Wagamama, typically a Japanese restaurant. They offered an English breakfast for 13 quid, the best price in the terminal. The hostess was friendly in greeting me and advised that the kitchen was taking between 15 to 20 minutes, in case I was tight on departure time. I found that helpful. She then sat me at a bench among other travelers. The service was quite helpful and quick. They helped with the whole dining process from ordering, ensuring I had what I wanted and the cashing out process online. All went pretty smoothly. As for my English breakfast, much was what I had hoped for. There was what tasted more like a cocktail sauce. No pork 'n beans. Made to order meal. The English muffin was plain, not toasted. Definitely will remember this restaurant when I travel through Heathrow again. Several of the Japanese dishes I saw and smelled looked amazing. read more

I came here for breakfast before my flight. It was one of the only place you could sit comfortable and eat as the terminal was SO full! I had the gluten free chicken ramen. It was good but not the most flavourful. It was glad they had a gluten free menu though. The service was quick and I pointed out that the table was a little dirty and this was dealt with quickly. It's a little annoying how they have set out the tables as getting past people is really hard with any form of luggage. If I'm at terminal 3 again and it's super busy I'd definitely come back. read more

Ok the food was actually really good for an airport restaurant, but sadly the service is sorely lacking. Do not come here unless you have time for a 90+ minute meal. There were only two people working as both the hostess and servers. This place really needs to hire at least one more person because it severely impacts the customer experience when you stand waiting with your bags at the front for 5 minutes before being brought to an empty table, and literally had customers lining up at the back of the restaurant to pay because they were tired of waiting for the waiter to never come or bring their check. The food is actually quite good. I had one of the fresh squeezed juices which was a nice, refreshing, healthy beverage option for an airport. I had the pork belly ramen and the pork was actually perfectly cooked, seared on the outside but still melt in your mouth tender on the inside. The broth was average, not quite as rich or hearty as I would've liked. The noodles were also a little soggy and over cooked, I prefer my ramen noodles to be chewier and more al dente. The gyoza in the gyoza ramen tasted a little funny, never had gyoza that tasted herby like that, I would stick with the pork. Prices are average for the airport, not cheap but also not super overpriced. Overall, if you have at least two hours before you have to get to your gate, then this is a good option for a leisurely lunch. Has more potential as the food was pretty good but the lack of service definitely brings it down, particularly for an airport restaurant. read more

While waiting for our flight we want a quick bite. This place forgot it's in an airport. We've waited twenty minutes for a bowl of ramen. We wanted to be in and out but the slow service made me not enjoy the food. And how can I enjoy it when I almost put half a bottle of soy sauce before i tasted any flavor. The broth makes the ramen taste good not the stuff you put in it. It was a very disappointing bowl of ramen. The people making it doesn't have a clue how to make a good bowl of ramen. For a airport restaurant, this is a great place to sit and eat or takeout. The food is made to order and you have various choices. The pork belly buns were tasty. The steak bulgogi bowl was very tasty. More NY Strip steak and wasn't really bulgogi, but the quality was good and tasted great. The Wagamama's Own ramen was a combo ramen. The soup base itself was ok, but I prefer soy sauce base better. All of the toppings were great. At the end of the day, I would go back here any day rather than going to other airport restaurant options. read more

Despite the other reviews this is a pretty good for an airport restaurant and a perfect spot for my long layover. The food is made to order, which I prefer over the typical dine and dash trash at many airports. There was no wait for a table and the noise volume was average at best. I was happy to hear the music while I ate instead of the inane banter of those around me. I started out with the steamed buns with pork belly that was cut thin. The buns were not over sauced like other places I've been to in the past. The buns were small but tasty. My main entree was teriyaki lamb. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the lamb cooked perfectly. The noodles were a little dry but that did not impact the flavor especially after adding the chili oil. I assume this is a new location for the Japanese restaurant sensation, in addition to the one already listed in terminal 5. The same quality food but the service is slack and disorganized. The manager fails to realize this is not an evening out, but a dine and dash airport venue. As always the firecracker cauliflower is delicious! But without crack service, this is not a place to get stuck in between flights. read more
