We had a long layover at Heathrow and wanted something comforting after a long flight . The Ramen and other options looked very inviting and we decided to try them out . We were seated immediately but were told that it will take 15-20 minutes for the food to come out . Seating is a little too close together and not very comfortable . If you have a lot of luggage , I can see that being an issue . We ordered the Korean hot pot and beer .The food took slightly less time than what they told us initially . The hot pot was a great pick because it had everything I wanted -veggies, protein and a very flavorful broth .It was the right temperature and the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked . Billing is very easy and we were in and out within an hour .

    English Breakfast

Heathrow is always busy. I was searching for a place to sit down and have an English breakfast on my last day in the UK. While there were other restaurants offering an English breakfast in the terminal 3 waiting area, most had long lines. However, toward the fast end of the terminal, I found Wagamama, typically a Japanese restaurant. They offered an English breakfast for 13 quid, the best price in the terminal. The hostess was friendly in greeting me and advised that the kitchen was taking between 15 to 20 minutes, in case I was tight on departure time. I found that helpful. She then sat me at a bench among other travelers. The service was quite helpful and quick. They helped with the whole dining process from ordering, ensuring I had what I wanted and the cashing out process online. All went pretty smoothly. As for my English breakfast, much was what I had hoped for. There was what tasted more like a cocktail sauce. No pork 'n beans. Made to order meal. The English muffin was plain, not toasted. Definitely will remember this restaurant when I travel through Heathrow again. Several of the Japanese dishes I saw and smelled looked amazing.

Great food despite it being at the airport. Relaxed ambiance with family style seating. The service was great; the servers are very attentive and friendly. Definitely helps to have a good meal before a long flight.

    Gluten free chicken ramen

I came here for breakfast before my flight. It was one of the only place you could sit comfortable and eat as the terminal was SO full! I had the gluten free chicken ramen. It was good but not the most flavourful. It was glad they had a gluten free menu though. The service was quick and I pointed out that the table was a little dirty and this was dealt with quickly. It's a little annoying how they have set out the tables as getting past people is really hard with any form of luggage. If I'm at terminal 3 again and it's super busy I'd definitely come back.

    Teriyaki noodles with Chicken

Delicious food at this location. The Teriyaki noodles with chicken was very tasty and the Mushroom Bao as well. Really fast service and ambiance is great. Would definitely go again.

Fast Heathrow Japanese meal option…read more Sushi was edible, and better than I expected for airport take away. It's like drug store sushi, actually[1]. Ha! Itsu offers coffee (I got some) and they also have these amazing bottled waters - get their peach and lychee flavor! Chef's kiss. Credit accepted. Prices are high (you're in an airport) but not outrageous. Looking for power? There's a few charging tables nearby with a variety of outlets. Next time I'm at LHR, I'll be back for a fancy bottled water. [1] Anyone remember when drug stores in NYC offered sushi? Do they still do that?

(Especially like a person from Hawaii like me!) Flew threw LHR several times over the past few years and first noticed this place in 2019. If there is a line, it isn't very long and moves fast. Got places to sit down and have some charging ports . Food selection is somewhat limited with salmon Inari or Maki style sushi, got some salads, or if you want something hot, got won ton or chicken bowls and a few other things. I find it convenient since it is right next to a sitting area if you have to make a connection but your flight gate # has not yet been announced. Unlike some of the worn, high volume, highly used ports that may not work in (free) sitting area outside, so far all the ports and outlets have worked in the dining area here! So a place that I've come to stop by almost every time for a quick bite to eat at LHR!

Staines didn't appear to have a great selection of restaurants but with Sushi Nara being as satisfying as it proved to be, they need not. A pleasantly generic decor gave no hint of the diversity of Sushi Nara's menu, not in Japanese cuisine as expected, but in a full-range of Korean fare as well. And because I didn't find the UK brimming with a great array of sushi (salmon and tuna seem to comprise 98% of the offerings), the Korean offerings were a welcome treat. The next question, as I'm suspect of places specializing in multiple cuisines, was: How good would that Korean fare (or Japanese fare) actually be? Good, quite good. The Nara Bento (£16.90) was a nice array of food: filling, fresh tasting, as varied as it needed to be, and well-presented. The Beef Dolsot Bibimbap (£9.50) and Kimchi (£2.20) were equally satisfying. I'd likely look askance were I to find a restaurant back home (San Francisco Bay Area) trading in both Japanese and Korean fare but here in Staines they pulled it off with mastery. If they opened up a second outpost in my neighborhood I'd be there.

Just had a speedy lunch here. Food was good, we had quite a mix. Couple of Bento boxes with meat…read moreand salmon, and a plate of mixed Salmon sushi. Would come back again.
