    Squash and eggplant curry

This is the Bath outpost of the chain noodle house with a fun-to-say name. Getting in late on a rainy night, we wanted something family friendly, hot, and fast. Wagamama really fit the bill. The ramen was really good, with some interesting choices of flavors. The pork ramen bowl was hearty, great broth, and just the right portion. I also tried the vegetable katsu curry and the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, and both were well done and flavorful. The room was light and bright without being too harsh or uncomfortable. Shared bench style tables, so it should be good for groups. I could imagine it getting quite loud in busy times, although I have no direct experience of that. Service was a little slow, even though it was late at night and the restaurant was almost empty. Otherwise, it was a good experience and I would return again.

This is probably my worst experience having "Japanese food". The menu itself composed of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. If you had eaten at any of the mentioned cuisines you will be deeply disappointed just how bad the food tastes. The taste was merely a true presentation of how East Asian and South-East Asian should be. One of their signature "Wagamama ramen" was completely lost on taste. A mix up of pork, seafood, and chicken, bamboo shoots, water cress etc. Such a disappointment, the flavor got lost. Some other dishes like the bao buns were so bland as though no seasonings were added.

    Wok veggies for ~£4

This restaurant has lots of options and is very family friendly. Ramen, tepenyaki options and donburi are some of the many options for diners here. We ordered some wok veggies and pork and chicken ramen with our bill coming to £22. Not bad food but it took around 10 minutes just to get our hot water and green tea. The service aspect could be improved but other then that it's a good place to bring the whole family for dinner.

The food is quite ok, but too expensive for what it is. Can be very crowded at times. There are better options in Bath for sure

I've never tried authentic Japanese food so not sure if Wagamamas quite lives up to that, however for what you get the value is great.

Itsu is a Japanese and sushi type takeaway fast food establishment. Seems big here in the UK and I really don't get why the US, especially spots like LA don't have more spots like this. It's so easy for on the go work and travel meals without feeling like you have to settle for greasy fast food. Prices were actually pretty reasonable and service was super fast. Ordered on a large screen my meal, paid by card, and it printed out my order number/receipt. Waited near the main desk as a gal was pulling together the orders. They did have sit down seating but post common was people taking the food away. As I waited I was impressed by their little stand that had different options of paper bags, utensils, and sauces. Once my number was caller my food was packaged on the counter, put it in my Togo bag and headed on my way. Ordered salmon sushi (six pieces) and double chicken teriyaki bowl with an easy soft boiled egg with a fancy water, all for $20. I was really impressed because I'm easily spending about $10-$15 on gross greasy fast food in the states so getting sushi and a nice rice bowl for $5 was well worth it! Also the additional sauces and condiments were cheap so worth it too. The sushi slices are really thin but honestly tasted pretty fresh for fast food Togo sushi. Good flavor from the wasabi. The teriyaki chicken rice bowl was super filling and impressed with the perfection of the egg. Loved my lychee peach water, light flavor and refreshing. All in all the taste was about a 3.5 but that's pretty good for Asian takeaway (white wash food), saying this with no offense intended! It's not authentic is what I mean but definitely good and filling. Super happy to have stumbled upon this spot and worth a quick meal on the go while traveling and wanting an easy introverted style meal.

Personally, I always head to Dashi where the drinks are a bit more expensive but way more enjoyable. With a wider selection of drinks that Pumpkin, you'll be able to choose from a range of coffees, herbal teas, flavoured waters and soya drinks. The range of food they serve at Dashi is much more interesting as well. You can choose from sushi (obviously!), crisps, cakes, cookies and wasabi peas (my personal favourite). The staff are friendly, the background music is interesting and the café is a great place to people watch and keep an eye on the train times. It's definitely not the best café in the world, or even Bath, but it is the best of a bad situation if you've got time to kill at the train station.

The outlet on the platform at Bath is bright, clean and stylish, and serves excellent quality food. The only complaint I have is the perch-on stools. It might be trendy but I could do without the inevitable wriggling and balancing to clamber up! And the tables themselves are a bit on the small side. But apart from that, it's perfect. Service always comes with a smile, and there is the Customer Loyalty card system whereby you get a stamp for stuff you buy that will eventually enable you to get a freebie.
