Been bringing my dog here over the years for both, over night stays and grooming. We have always had a positive experience here! Having a husky, it's hard to find a good grooming place, they go above and beyond for him! Thank you Wag hotels read more

Hi All! I believe it was back in October 2021 when we first walked into the pet hotel. It was a beautiful and calming experience. We had been looking for a hotel last minute because of a family emergency and we stumbled upon here thanks to google maps. The assistant manager, I think his name is Fabian was very sweet to us! Also the young lady at the reception. They calmed my mother and I down since we were crying because we didn't know where to leave our golden retriever puppy at. Thank You so much for this experience of understanding us, letting my mother see the place before we said yes, and for overall making sure everyone was okay and for updating us on him while he was there. Canelo and I appreciate you! Also! thank you for washing his little blanket, we appreciate it! read more

I've been looking for a doggy day care to take my puppy too.. Came across Wags Hotel.. This place is amazing. Has many activities for your dogs to do and the staff is very friendly. My puppy is only 5 months old so obviously was a little worried about him going .. but I was able to call and check on him. He know goes 1-2 times per week. Perfect place to get your dog adjusted to other dogs. read more

Great dog resort! Love that there are discounts for being a federal employee because otherwise we totally couldn't afford this place. Their hours (24 hrs 7 days a week) are amazing and their staff is super nice. The live cameras in the play area are a nice touch. read more

My dog absolutely loves it here. It's a great place to board and she loves playing at all day play. Being able to watch her on video during the day is wonderful and she comes home happy and well exercised. read more

The weekend of August 9th. I left my dog there paid for special care . My dog did not receive the care Wag states they give our pets. Staff did so many mistakes with my dog. They returned my pet smelling and looking like it was uncared for or watched over for several hrs. The belongings were a mess when they return them back to me. I called and spoke with supervisor Aaron twice all she kept telling me is that it was lack of staffing on there end. They had hired new people that did not do their job correctly. And apologized. I did not get a refund and when booking for future dates I was going to get charge more than the first time in which was left with so many mistakes that in the end of the day I paid for . Why did my dog need to paid for there staffing mistakes idk. All I got was excuses and more repeated excuses. I yet to receive any call or email back from supervisor as of today. They would have a negative stars review option. read more

Love this place! I needed to board my two six-month-old pups (Princess and Charming) over the holidays. Wag Hotels was close to home and, extremely friendly, and the facility was impeccably clean. We tested the waters with a few days of daycare and my pups had a great time. (Note: they currently offer a free day of daycare to new guests on their website.) Once their dates for boarding arrived, the pups were extremely excited. They played all day then headed back to their deluxe suite at night. Their particular room actually contained a twin-size bed instead of the raised dog beds found in their other suites. I loved being able to check on them during my vacation via the webcams in the daycare room as well as their room at night. It was my first time away from them and this access made me feel much more comfortable knowing they were okay. One more note: I had a wonderful experience with all the staff members I interacted with. At daycare drop off/pick up, everyone working the front desk was super friendly and truly seemed to care for the dogs. My husband and I agreed: this is like the Ritz-Carlton of doggie hotels! read more

This place is horrible I came here with my parents to get a tour of the place because we were thinking of leaving my dog here. When we walked into the rooms where the gods are the place was freezing cold I saw a couple of dogs and they were shaking. Not only that but dogs were crying and we heard someone hitting a dog really hard that it started crying. Please DONT leave your dog here. It's so bad people are cruel to the dogs here. I also saw some dog coming out with their owners and they were crying. read more

I was referred to Wag Hotels from my best friend who brings her dog, Samson to All Day Play. I attended their grand opening party with my new puppy, met the staff, and toured the facilities and decided to give them a try. Their staff is welcoming and friendly with all the pups and really care about London (my pup) and her experience. We had a free upgrade (from the grand opening) when we boarded her and we were impressed. We had access to her at all times (she had a dog bed and bed in her room) and we had access to her all day play. We've boarded her since then and have had her in All Day Play and All Day Stay. It's super convenient too because they work with our drop off/pick up schedule. Also, anytime we've had questions they've always answered or called us back right away to address our concerns. Mike and his staff really care about London's experience and we definitely appreciate it! read more

Amazing doggie day care! All day play is great for socializing puppies while the humans enjoy some non-dog time (like work....). Also great for overnight stays. It does smell like dogs in the building but it's a dog facility, not a perfume shop. I enjoy the photos and report cards. Thank you to the whole staff for taking care of my furry kids read more

Great for emergency summer nights or night time events and no one will be home. I had to take my pet here because our family had to go to a summer foodie event at night. We didn't wanna leave the dog alone in the house because she's not used to being by herself and she barks nonstop when she's alone. We didn't want to wake the neighbors at night. The people were accommodating. I had to ask her doctor to forward recent updated shots for safety. I took her in, like she's checking in a 5 star hotel for dogs, and left her. I wasn't able to check out the back because the front end didn't allow people to go in. At midnight, I came back to get the dog, and one of the attendants did show me where she was.. The inside looked like a cleaner and non smelly version of a shelter. It's concrete floor, really cold and metal fences the size of a tiny walk in closet. My dog was all by herself and she looked so sad and alone. And she was cold. They provided a blanket and she slept in it just fine. She was happy to see me and then we walked out of there. The indoor park they had was huge and nice but there weren't any other dogs and they only use that during the day, I think. This place is great for emergency or if you're leaving town for a week or so but be prepared to pay hefty. read more

Today was my 9 month old puppy's first time at daycare. She went to the Carson location. I wasn't too sure that it would go well because she's so spoiled and clingy with me. Well to my surprise she did good for her first time away from me. Wag has a cam and I was able to watch her throughout the day. The staff are amazing and handle the various dogs so well and with such care and attention. No fights, just fun and games. I'm very happy, and plan to utilize the many services offered (hotel, grooming, etc.). My pup has never had this much activity. She conked out as soon as we hot home, lol. read more

So far, so cute!! I boarded my Australian Shepherd for a night for the first time and Miguel behind the counter was really helpful and happy to check him in and set us up with the room. It seems like everyone who works there are so in love with their dogs, so I feel super comfortable that my baby is in good hands! read more

If I could give this location an infinite amount of stars I would!! They have been an ABSOLUTE BLESSING to our family!!! I cannot say enough how much care, attention and love they have shown our MERCY not only every time he comes but especially the last time he was there. WAGS Hotel literally saves his life!!! If it was not for their attentiveness and concern for dogs in their care when there is no way they could have noticed him in distress. To make a long story short, a staff member literally transported him personally to urgent care and he was able to be seen and we were contacted and able to approve emergency surgery for our senior mastiff! We were out of town on a 8 day cruise and obviously distraught but we were repeatedly reassured that they would take care of him and keep us posted. And YEA THEY DID!! He had major surgery they came back to get him when he was released from the hospital and made sure to administer his meds until we got back. I never could imagine something like this would happen and we wouldn't be there for Mercy but WAGS CARSON made it happen and we are eternally grateful to you guys for it. read more

They are fantastic at Wag Hotels. You get updates, can watch your pooch on the webcam, and can be assured that your dog is being well cared for. I originally came here when I found out that the PetsMart Pet Hotel near me held their doggie day camp from 5 am to 1 pm for dogs boarding (as opposed to the 9-5 that is advertised to accommodate the non-boarding group of dogs). Their answer was that it's still 8 hours of play, but I needed a better solution for my trips. The 7 am - 7 pm all-day play at Wag Hotels is fun and exhausting. Bodhi has gotten so much great socialization from his stay during my business trip. I highly recommend Wag Hotels when you have a trip and need to have true peace of mind. read more

So glad to have found Wag Hotels! They have been very accommodating as I've been working to improve my dog's social skills. Last weekend we dropped off our fur babies to test out the facilities and to see if they will be okay interacting with other dogs. Being able to watch them via web cam and seeing how they were with our dogs put us to ease. The staff were so friendly and attentive to the dogs too. We were also given a tour of the boarding area and was amazed of how clean and organized each space was. We are looking forward to bringing our fur babies back this week for another play date. read more

I was looking for a dog boarding to place my dog while I was in the area for a wedding and wag hotels came up on yelp along with other results. The other places were booked and or closed very early so we decided to go forth with this place. We are glad to have chosen wag hotel as the staff were extremely friendly! First visit is free if you bring your pet by 7AM-8AM for all day play. FROM WEBSITE "This offer is for first time guests only. All guests must be up-to-date on current vaccinations as well as abide by our House Rules and Stay and Services Agreement. All guests must arrive between 7am-8am to get acclimated to their surroundings. Other exclusions may apply" We arrived later than the suggested time and were expecting to pay the fee of $40 for 12 hours (Must pick up pet by midnight). When we came back the staffs gave us a complimentary stay! They were very friendly and accommodating with my dog. I am extremely impressed and will definitely be back soon! Also, because this location is new, they don't have cameras as of yet unlike their other locations--hopefully very soon! read more

Today is our 3rd day trying out Wag Hotels. And so far it's been great! My puppy, seems to love it and is already at the point of when we pull in she recognizes it and gets excited. Much like she does at the dog park. The staff is very kind (except for the one girl on Monday morning. She was a little rude and didn't make eye contact). But overall, it's been great. The one thing that does concern me though, is although the entire building looks immaculate and clean, when watching on the web cam and the dogs pee, the attendant seems to just throw a towel on top and wipe it up. But what about the left over urine or dried urine? The dogs seem to run and walk on top of it. Shouldn't that area be sprayed as well? I have Clorox wipes in my car that I use to wipe my dogs paws and even her body at times when I pick her up. I don't want dried urine trekked in my car. But that might be something for you all to consider. Today I watched on camera urine and something red sit out there for like 10 minutes while dogs sniffed it, walk on it etc. I think the clean up procedures should be looked into. Thanks for the reply Mike! Really appreciate it. Double check on them spraying after wiping. I didn't see any spray after the initial towel clean up. But still 5 stars . Teena will see you all again next week! read more

* Carson Location * First and foremost...I recommend this place to anyone that needs to go to work, run multiple errands (may not be pet friendly) or you just want your dog to burn some energy and socialize. Heads up: Call the facility directly for bookings. If you call the general number or don't book online, it may generate your booking to the Oakland office. If your dog is boarding, I highly recommend the suites with the petzi cameras. My dog didn't do too well with sleeping in the kennels, but the rooms have cameras and Netflix...YES NETFLIX! so although it's not home, your dog has some form of entertainment during his/her stay, I also recommend bringing his/her favorite toys, blanket or something with your scent to keep them at ease. Double check with the facility as the pandemic can change which items can be brought in during boarding. Staff are very friendly, convenient parking and right off of the 405 freeway. My 1 year old pup "Apollo the Pug" loves it here and often is excited as soon as he realizes we are nearing the facility. The Manager Tiffany is always onsite which is rare in most business to see, but she communicates very effectively with clients. I've seen her under pressure multitask and still keep a professional attitude. My pup absolutely LOVES everyone there. It really is the cutest thing when he sees them and lights up and they are excited to see him. My pup also enjoys playing with two male handlers, one I believe has a puppy that also stays during the day so it's great to have another set of eyes. I've asked for the handlers' names to mention in this review, but was advised that I couldn't get them. Great things about this place: 1. Friendly/Bubbly Staff 2. Manager always on site at the front desk. She is always there at the front desk and available to speak with clients if requested. Miguel and Brittany are amazing and always have positive upbeat attitudes. 3. Staff does great with communicating upcoming social events for your fur baby and explains the packages/add on and grooming thoroughly. 4. Some of the staff have dogs on the yard so it's just like a little family. You get a quick progress report and your dog is having fun with a new friend at the same time. 5. Facility is clean 6. Staff is very good with temperature monitoring. If it's too cold/raining, dogs are inside... if it's warm out, the dogs have their own little pool party going on. 7. There are Wellness Wednesdays where your dog can get a complimentary teeth brushing, coat brushing and nail trim. You have to request it at the time you drop off, but that's a really cool bonus ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So why not 5 stars? Some of these are MINOR and definitely can be improved. I have no doubt the facility is already addressing these things: 1. Staffing for evening pick up - I've noticed that often when I pick up (maybe in the past few months), there's only one person at the front desk and the clients are waiting for 15-30 minutes. I get there's coverage needed on the yard, and they may be getting the dogs ready for evening feeding/dinner. If there's someone leaving their dog for boarding, it can take longer (between 5pm-6:30pm). I plan on speaking with Tiffany regarding solutions and opportunities to resolve for an even better experience. 2. The company/site advertises the cameras will be on during All Day Play, but they're only on between around 9am or 10am and shut off promptly at 5pm. I think it may just be a thing with whichever company is used for the feature, but it would be nice to see them playing until the time for pick up (7pm on weekdays, 6pm on Sunday) 3. Although I love seeing photos of the dogs playing. I have noticed a few of the handlers do not really engage and are often glued to their cell phones or just walking around. There are a few handlers that really interact with the dogs and you can see the difference in your dog when they come home. It may just be a training opportunity in the making. 4. My pup has gotten sick here twice from other dogs with respiratory infections. He's okay now, but when I spoke to the vet she advised they had a few dogs from the hotel with the same infection earlier in the week that I brought him in. Since respiratory infections for his breed are high risk, it would be nice if they screened for this type of thing (signs of coughing, wheezing, running nose) I left a message for the facility so the vet could speak directly to staff and relay the dogs that were sick at the time to prevent others from getting sick, but I never heard back. Overall, it's a great facility for your dog to socialize/play while you take care of your day to day business read more

We've been brining our animals here for 2+ years and they've always been great for day play, boarding and even grooming. The cat suite has a camera system that you can watch remotely and lets you talk to them. All staff members here are very friendly and they take great care of your animals. One time we were out of town so my dog was boarding and she had an ear infection that I wasn't aware of. After discovering the infection they even took her to the vet for us and got her medication. We are truly grateful for this place! The corporate website/reservation line does have some consistency issues but call this branch directly and they're more than happy to help you out with whatever you need! read more

Daycare here is a life saver!! Started bringing my puppy here last week to socialize him during the pandemic, and the difference has been night and day. At home, he's a lot calmer, less bitey/nippy, and overall seems more content. Gotta give credit to the staff who treat the dogs here very well (Tiffany the manager is very sweet to my pup). The place is clean, the website is easy to use, AND they even have a webcam so you can check up on your dog! I'm sure their other services (grooming, boarding, etc) are just as good. Well deserved 5 stars! read more

I booked a boarding reservation for my older 8 year old dog that has special needs. She has neurological issues and takes medication. I called and spoke wilt a representative that assured me they could accommodate in the special services category. I toured the facility a month prior to my reservation just to confirm and even upgraded to a suite that increased the price of my dog's stay. I was comfortable and spoke with a manager about my dog's needs. I dropped her off for boarding and they called me an hour before I was to go to the airport to tell me they were not equipped to handle her needs. I had to cancel my trip to the Caribbean and forfeit nearly $4000. The staff wouldn't look me in the eye when I went to pick up my dog. You should not run a pet hotel if you do not have licensed Veterinarians on staff and employ staff who are not veterinary technicians or assistants. No manager or adult employee came out to speak with me, I was left to deal with teenagers that we're clueless. Terrible service. read more

My dog, Scully, has been going to Wag Hotel since we found this gem when we moved to the area. Wag Hotel has an easy to use website to update records and book appointments. They have easy add ons for your dog's visit such as snacks and other extras to help their stay be nice. Every single person has been professional, kind, helpful, and my dog can tell they love working with animals. Today because of an emergency home repair, our dog needed a little time away from home. I drove over and Tiffany helped set Scully up for a great time. She was helpful in finding an intake document and she made our drop off wonderful. Thanks Wag Hotel. read more

I do not recommend this company. We booked and confirmed an all day play appointment as we were planning on taking my daughter to Disneyland for the day. When I showed up they could not locate my reservation and said they were overbooked for the day because of walk ins. It appears walk ins take precedence over those that book. Wag could only offer 2 hours of play for my dog and the rest of the day she would be cooped up in a room. I asked if there was any other option and the rude person behind the counter unapologetically said no. We left with my dog and shared the news with my daughter that we could not go to Disney today. She broke into tears. Wag ruined one of our last days of summer and we will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone. I left a VM for Wag customer service but no one returned my call. Disappointing and a bad experience! I only chose 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. read more
