This was Sophie's first time at Wag Hotels and we were all impressed! Everyone at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. Sienna, the groomer, was super attentive and took into consideration everything we asked her to do. Will definitely be coming back :) read more

If you want a peace of mind while you're away from your fur baby, take them here. The facility is beyond amazing (safe and secure) and your dog(s) will have the time of their life. The "HUGE PLUS" was the fact that you can check in on your pet (via camera) while they're playing on the yard or in their hotel room. The facility is super clean, the staff is friendly and check in/out was super quick. Plus we love the fact that the General Manager is hands on. We were having difficulties accessing the hotel cam but the female representative over phone fixed it in no time. We also got our frenchies' washed before we picked them up and they smelled wonderful. We feared they would be back funky when placed back in the yard but they still smelled good. They were exhausted after from all the fun they had. read more

We just love this facility, great service for our two dogs and our needs for them. Many options available for your pet! The staff really cares for the pets. read more

We took all 3 of our dogs to stay for 3 nights this past weekend. Unfortunately one of our dogs got sick and started throwing up a few times the day we picked him up. We picked him up in the evening and thankfully they did inform us he had been getting sick. At the vet now and just paid for X-rays, bloodwork and medication. Our dog hasn't eaten in 3 days and has been vomiting for 3 days. Vet says he picked up some type of virus from the dog day care. Not to mention the PRICE TAG - it's like paying for a whole other vacation on top your own vacation! 3 days away ended up costing us $1,000 for the dog hotel stay and $1,000 (so far) in vet bills. What a nightmare. ***UPDATE*** Now my 2nd of the 3 dogs has started throwing up. Taking her into the vet shortly. read more

What a joke. You're reasoning is because he was in a play area?? I reserved a one one room per your hotel rules because he has not been neutered yet. So clearly, that's definitely not what happened, is it? Not even a good attempt. Talk about a bait and switch. read more

The staff strive to satisfy everyone and they're caring towards my Chloe. Great team in Carson!

In the past year, they have made a lot of changes it seems. They are amazing now. They call with updates (if needed) and the staff seems very attentive to each dogs needs. My dog loves it there and you can tell the staff cares when I dropoff/pickup. I am glad this is a 24 hr facility and I its closer to the South Bay than other facilities we used to visit. Keep up the good work! read more

I've been coming to Wag Hotel for about 2 years now and it is an amazing place for your pets to have some play time with other dogs. I also enjoy taking my dogs for their baths. They do an amazing job and my dogs love going to Wag. The groomers at Wag are all great and do amazing job. I have 2 Siberian Huskies and every time after their baths, they are fluffy and happy! I would recommend coming to Wag. read more

I am a current nursing student and I needed a place for my pup to go during my clinical 8 to 12 hour long clinical rotations. I remember seeing this place many times b4 off of the freeway but never needed to stop because I didn't have a dog. Thank God I remember this place!! My pup loves this play. She is currently 6 months and by the times she leaves she is exhausted. The staff here is great and the place is very clean :). Below is a picture of my pup Harlem after a long day of play..lol read more

I brought my dog here for the first time about 2 months after adopting him from a shelter. They're 24/7/365 service has been a life saver as my dog is very social & hyper but also suffers from some separation anxiety as well. Having Wag as an option while we've worked through that has been great. We both love the staff, he's always treated well, and I will continue to use them as long as they're here. read more

We love Wag Hotels!! Kylo, my 2yr 4mo old German Shepherd grew up during COVID meaning he ended up not being able to be as socialized as planned. As a result, he is nervous around strangers and dogs, specifically when he's with us/family. We specified this before bringing him in and the team was very accommodating, Tiffany asked how we could work together to mitigate any unnecessary risk when dropping him off as he's really a very sweet and playful pup once comfortable. Kylo loves going to Wag to play with his friends!! And I absolutely love that there are cameras to watch them play, plus they give us report cards with pictures every time he's there. Just make sure to download the Wag Hotels app! For boarding or daycare, Wag Hotels is always our choice. :) Thank you Wag Hotels, for giving Kylo a chance to be himself!! read more

This review is for Erin who makes checking in so pleasurable, it was my first time bringing in my husky and wasnt really aware of the check in process. While the actual hotel and facilities appear to be nice, you will pay for EVERYTHING. A standard room at $50 - $60hr/nt is a small room with a small blanket. That's it. You pay for anything else on top. The dogs aren't even given a walk in the morning or a walk in the evening without paying for each walk separately. The outdoor space is great, if you pay the additional $14 for them to be outside for the day, but the ratio of handler to dogs is out of control. A ratio of 1 human to 13-15 dogs is considered a safe maximum in the industry (especially for large dogs). Attached is a photo from their cameras of 30 large dogs with one attendant in the park. If one of these dogs gets rowdy or goes at another dog, it can get out of hand very quickly. read more

I purchased 12 all day plays here while I was out the country for my havanese/poodle rescue dog. The place is nice. I especially like the outdoor area. I'm sure my 1 year old pup had a lot of fun as he is very affectionate and playful. My sister was sending me his daily report cards and I noticed they kept on putting that he had low energy and some days did not want to play at all and just stayed in a corner.... Well my sister found out that's because they weren't feeding him at all. He's there from 8 am- 5 pm for 12 days and they didn't feed him. I answered the questionnaire when you first buy the package. It asks you what type of kibble you want your dog to be fed (even asks for a second option just in case your first pick wasn't available), your dog's eating habits, how fast your dog eats, etc. It says they'll feed your dog if she/he is there during meal times and if you don't have a specific meal you bring in for them. So why wasn't my dog fed? Poor guy. I really feel horrible that that happened. When everyone was eating meals did they just leave him out without one? I want to give this place 5 stars and I want to come back if ever I need to but I'm so bothered about them basically starving my child. read more

I love wags!! It's absolutely amazing when it comes to making sure your pets are clean and safe. Hello I would have given 5 stars but the camera had connectivity issues. We went out of town and our dog stayed at the Wag Hotel. They took very good care of her, monitored her around other dogs and ensured her safety and well being. I cannot sing their praises enough! They are so professional and loving! They really took care of my Hercules! My little guy can be shy at first and would be happy just chillin' in his own space, which he did on the first day. But, was totally social the next day with all the other pups! We boarded for two days, had a Petzi cam in his cubbie. He didn't care for the little treats you can give him through the app, but you can talk to him. It even has night vision, for when they turn the lights down. I was a little overbearing when Herc was in the play yard, I saw through the Petzi cam he kept going up to the human in charge, and I can tell he just needed a little reassurance, a little pat on the head. That I called...I can be such a putz, but I was nice. But, since that time, she would pet him head when he came over. I honestly would not be able to work there and not want to pet the pups all the time. It may be against company policy. To me, the pups are like children...so play group is like daycare, some kids need a little more TLC on their first day...right, or is it just me? Anyway, the folks there are really lovely. Check in/out was easy peasy - dropped off at 5am. We packed his meals, and Wubbie. He was a happy pup when we picked him up! They even gave a report card that said he was a pleasure and good boy! Facility is super clean, and spacious. Pups are separated by size. Folks seem to like working there! They are a drive from LGB! We definitely will be going back for our pup hotel needs! read more

My little Neina loves this place as much as I do. Such a clean and classy place to take Lassie for grooming. Eric, the general manager is on site making sure the experience for pet and owner is second to none. The groomer's name is Siena and she really is the best I've come across in a long time. Wag hotels is everything I could ever want for my fur baby. I have checked out other places and none compare. My dog Sophie has been coming here for over a year and she absolutely loves the staff. The customer service is phenomenal and it's why I will keep bringing my dog every week for all day play. The camera allows me to check in and see Sophie in the playground or in the outside play area wagkiki. Her favorite is sitting outside in the sun! I see the staff play with her, give her cuddles and pick her up which she loves especially from Kyrsha. Every time I pick her up her tail is wagging non stop, she's never scared when I pick her up. The summer and winter camps have many activities that keep the pups engaged! Sophie even brought home a little card with her paw print. I have loved the South Bay/Carson location and during covid they have gone above and beyond to ensure social distancing while still providing the amazing care. As a healthcare provider during the pandemic I am so grateful my dog can continue to go to all day play when I'm working all day. Sophie really likes the staff including brittney, helmuth and Tiffany! read more

My dog stayed at this location for 2 and a half days and I picked him up with bloody stools and a awful cough that lasted several weeks and ended up being bronchitis. He had to be treated with several antibiotics before he recovered and nearly $1000 in vet costs. I will never take him back to any Wag hotel! The one star I gave was so I can make this post only. So disappointed! My dog suffered badly. I can't image if he was there longer! read more

I have been taking my puppy Chowder here for a few months now. At home I occasionally pull the website up while I'm working or doing homework. I love being able to watch my puppy play with the other dogs. The staff is very energetic and friendly. Chowder gets so excited whenever we pull up to facility. I love how personable the staff is and will share fun stories about Chowder's day. Socializing your dog in a safe place is so important and I'm happy that I found a place that I can trust with that. I would not recommend this place for doggie day care. Took my 6 month old puppy for her first day care. Dropped her off at 7 am and picked her up at 6 pm. Upon getting her back I immediately noticed she was limping severely on her right rear leg. She would not put her paw down or put any pressure on her leg. I was trying to check on her and asking what happened and the worker just handed me the leash and walked away. Another customer saw my dog limping and was concerned about her. No one from Wag seemed concerned about my pup and ignored us and our questions. I just left and will have my pup checked out by our vet but will never again take my pup to Wag Carson read more

It was my first time leaving my dog at a hotel after doing my research I decided to give it a try. Wag hotel staff really did an amazing job on watching over my Pomeranian fluffy. I love the fact that I was able to watch him during play time on the computer while away on business. They separated the small dogs from the big dogs which was really important for me. So embarrassed to say I was crying tears of joy when I went to pick up my dog last visit! Bailey-Gianna has been here multiple times and always has a blast! But July 2022 was different. It was Baileys 2nd birthday and I had a mandatory business trip. I called to ask if they would show a little love, and these folks showed out! I don't know if I love this place just yet. I called this place serval times before I actually got someone on the line. I spoke with a young lady who seem to be preoccupied with someone else while trying to answer my question. This would be my pet's first visit and he's not neutered, so I had questions as to how would his daycare stay be. She basically gave me very little info and directed me to go onto their website for further information and to upload vaccinations records. Two days go by and still no return call. I called to see if they had received papers and to schedule a stay. Once o got there with my pup, the staff was nice , however they didn't offer a tour as a first timer and they didn't inform me that I could download the app and view cameras. Little to no info was given. I returned to get my dog and again, the front desk gentleman was very nice. He came out with my dog and he was so Excited to see me, but was shaking really bad. No one called to update me As this was our first time Here. When we got home my dog was starving like he hadn't eaten all day and he was so out of it (tired). Not sure why he was so tired as he couldn't have play day with other fur babies as he's not neutered. Also, walking in this place smelled bad. I asked to use the restroom and it was the nastiest bathroom had been in. The toilet was disgusting no soap in the dispenser and filthy sink. hire a janitorial service. At this point I'm not sure if my boy will go back. read more

We are very pleased with the services here. We tried another dog boarding facility in Torrance and were just not happy with the attentiveness of the front desk at that place, they also lost our dogs collar when in their care. At Wag Hotel, the front desk personnel is always very polite and acknowledging of your presence. There are various options available to choose as far as day care, boarding and grooming services. We have been taking our puppy in for socialization and we feel she is in a safe environment and we love the report card with photos to let us know how she is getting on. My only recommendation is video cam for outside and maybe keeping the front of the business clean of urine, the inside is clean and tidy. read more

If you're nervous boarding your pet or are like me and have never been away from your little fur baby before and don't know who to trust... look no further than this place!!! They've been absolutely amazing from the day care we took my baby to, until today dropping her off for her first week long boarding experience. She's staying in the Catalina room and when we walked in she felt like she was at home and was so happy!! We were greeted by Miguel at the front desk who has the most AMAZING customer service I've experienced in a very long time. I was expecting to cry and feel nervous leaving my baby for the first time but I feel happy and content and completely stress free. Miguel and all the staff who is so friendly and sweet, THANK YOU. you're appreciated more than you know. And thank you Miguel for letting us set up her room & toys & be on top of collecting her feeding schedule etc!! You've been nothing short of wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend booking the premium rooms such as the Catalina, they are beautiful and insanely comfortable for your fur babies!! But all the rooms in wag hotels look amazingly comfortable and great as well :) I can't wait to see my baby girl but know she's in amazing hands which makes me able to enjoy my vacation a lot more!! Couldn't recommend wag hotels more for your boarding or day care needs for your pets. THANKS AGAIN GUYS :) read more
