Have been on hold with Wag Hotel front desk for 14 minutes after being told there is 1 customer ahead of me. Once connected, the line disconnected. Bummer that this happened because we've been going here for the last 6 months to get one of our pups groomed. Mobile app is not intuitive and always receives an error when making a spa reservation. read more

Hello everyone, I want to start off by saying that you can't go wrong boarding your family pets here. It cost us a fortune to leave our five small dogs here for ten days. But you know what? Nothing beats the feeling that your irreplaceable family members are well taken care of. And that is exactly what happened. These guys are well worth it. Our pets are our kids and knowing that they are being fed, played with, and checked in on gives and gave us piece of mind while on our trip. If you don't have someone to look after your precious pets or even if you do. Keep theses guys in mind Highly recommend A++ read more

We LOVE this place! From the moment you walk in, everyone is so friendly (Crystal, Liz, Becky, etc). I had a few special requests during my dog Kenai's stay and Michael and Crystal was very accommodating. Ke had his K9 Fit with Helmuth and loved it, as well as evening buddy time with the various staff members. At first I was hesitant to leave my doc overnight (protective mom and always watched the web cams) but I had nothing at all to worry about. Thank you Wags! Hope you can have more discounted "all day play" or overnight packages so we can come here more often!! Highly highly recommend this place read more

Just picked up my dog Loki after a 2 night stay. When I got there I could see him through the glass running around with all the dogs and having a great time! He looked so happy! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Also, they have a webcam and you can check up on your fur baby! Will definitely be bringing Loki back! read more

I've taken my dog here for boarding twice, and both times I was highly satisfied with their care. The entire staff is friendly and kind. Anytime I am out of town I can trust them to really take care of my dog. read more

To date, I am still waiting to hear back from the GM. I've responded to her PM via Yelp, still nothing.

My senior dog, Charlie, has stayed here a few times this year and was taken care of very well! Because he is a senior dog, I am very hesitant about where he boards and I've only had positive experiences with Wag Hotels. All my encounters with the employees have been friendly and have been very accommodating to my specific requests with Charlie due to his medical issues. Charlie has left every stay happy and healthy. :) read more

We needed 2 days of day care for our 18 month old Boston Terrier and we were blessed to find Wag Hotel in Carson, CA. The facility is specially built to support our pets and their care was almost like our own! They did misplace his leftover Vet food we brought with our puppy, but found it in the frig the second day. Our puppy loves the staff, he almost didn't want to leave. We love them too. read more

MUST READ: So disappointed in Wags. My pet has been going here for years and even just recently. He is a senior dog and now very recently trying to make reservations (wag canceled with no phone call) was told they NO LONGER TAKE SENIOR DOGS. Said its a new policy when he was just there a few weeks back. He has no medical issues just arthritis!! ......rates keep changing with no warning...... But its ok PETSMART in Torrance DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE & they are $10/nite cheaper. read more

We love to have our Kobe come here! Excellent customer service and clean facility. They separate play time for big dogs and small dogs. Buying a daycare package also has been the lowest pricing we've seen in this area. When you download the app you can see the cameras and receive a daily report card. read more

Tiffany, the General Manager, and Jill at the front desk helped me out with getting my Frenchie boarded for a vacay I am taking in 1 week. Took him for a 1 day Daycare today and got a tour of the puppy suite he will be staying in for 1 week while I am out of town! Best service for such short notice and I am truly relieved that my Frenchie is going to be in great hands and also enjoying HIS best life. Cannot thank you Tiffany and Jill enough for all of their help and I recommend to any and all dogs for daycare and boarding needs! Wags Hotel is amazing!!! read more

This is our favorite puppy daycare!! The prices are competitive, the facility is clean, the staff is super-friendly, and they do really cute things like having themed days! My 9 month Corgi has been going to Wag for over 2 months and I know she loves it there!! My favorite thing is stalking her on their Wagcam so I know she's well- taken care of. read more

Great experience! Our dog was super happy when we picked him up. Really easy experience and will definitely have our dog stay here again!

I was really excited to take my dog here but the more he went the more i started to question the place. They're seems to be a lack in communication with front desk and the back areas. They forgot to feed my dog multiple times. My husband felt one of the times was in retaliation, one of the girls he felt had an attitude had an attitude with home. Almost, all the staff is very nice and helpful but the one experience with the girl at the front and the missed meals did not help with trusting them with our fur baby. Having one staff member with 30 dogs isn't enough. I'd watch the cameras as much as I could and would see some people interact with the dogs. But mostly I just see people spray them with the water bottle and sometimes I felt like the dogs weren't even doing anything to deserve a spray. I found a new place that is crate free. I'm so much more comfortable with and closer to my home. They have anywhere from 2-5 people out in the yard with the dogs. I've never got a call that my dog had to get a time out. Which happened a few times at WAGS. read more

Love WAG hotel!! They are always there for us when we need to get out of town and unfortunately cannot take our beagle, Chato with us. So glad their night boarding has reopened and they once again took in our dog. We always feel good leaving him there as we get to see him play through their cameras and the staff is really loving with our pet. Definitely recommend them for day care or over night boarding read more

We've been going here for months and we love it! They are extremely accommodating but also they are very responsible in watching over our dog! We've even left our dog here for a week and they would send us updates and pictures so we felt very safe leaving her there. Definitely a place I'd recommend for your dog and the price is very reasonable! read more

Our little Frenchie Captain goes to the Wag Hotel in Carson/South Bay 1-2 times a month for boarding and we LOVE the staff and facilities. I am a crazy pet mom and worry constantly about my little guy, even more so since he is a difficult bread. With this facility however, I never have to worry about my little guy when he is there. The staff if so accommodating, loving and helpful! They follow all our directions and put up with my paranoia about my little fur baby! The facilities are so clean and so well maintained. Highly recommend this this location and company to anyone! The staff member Mike is amazing!!! read more

I love the wag and the staff but my dogs wont be back due to their "rules" and pricing. Every time i go in there is something new. This review is soley about the pricing and policies. I buy a 10 day package at $396 dollars its not cheap. I buy the package because it was my understanding ( and we have been coming here for years) the package includes meals and no late/ early fees. The package expires after 90 days. My job recently moved from Compton to City of Industry. I live in Downey so the Wag is way out of my way now. I also got into Fostering dogs and our fosters are usually puppies who don't have all the shots. In june i decided to start taking My dog Roxy and my foster Dobby on the weekends (and a few weekdays) to use up my package plus my foster puppy finally got all his shots. 1st and last time I will ever board my dogs here. $296.00 for 24 hours !!! I did upgrade their room to watch them on camera but I don't see why i did. There was only one bed. Dobby was on the bed and roxy was currled up on the floor. There was no blankets (when i checked the cameras) and i know they have blankets because we donated a box. On top of that they charged me 100 for specialized care since dobby wasn't neutered yet. if my dogs are sharing a room that rate should be for the room. For what i paid i should have just gotten them their own rooms. I asked why cant roxy use her package to off set the "specialized care" they said no. But a fews days before I took them and they were put in one on one care together since Dobby couldn't be in all day play and she used her package then and there wasn't a specialized care fee. I feel like the rules change from person to person. But never again will I pay $296 for 24 hours. You'r better off using Rover for multiple dogs. Finally the time has come around Dobby was netured, so here i go again trying to use my package for Roxy and Dobby before it expires on July 5th since both can be in all day play now. Nope they still wont let me use it for All day play for Dobby, I can only use it for Roxy. I paid $396 for 10 days, Im sorry i should be able to use the 10 days for both of my dogs, Especially since it is expiring. Its not like i can buy my foster a package, what if someone adopts him then i wouldn't be able to use any remaining days. But wait here comes the fees because Dobby doesnt have a package , 25 dollars for early check in , 5 dollars to feed him. But Im not charge those Because Roxy has a package. They did end up waiving the early check in. Just isnt the same. Isn't worth the hassle and ever changing rules. I just told them to cancel the next day i had reservations for. read more

I haven't been able to leave this place a review. At first I thought it was a nice facility. I honestly feel like they should check on the pets vaccines record for updates. Because my dog came home with a canine cough. Mind you she have her 5 shots up to date which are rabies, bordetella, and DHPP. I also think that this place should require canine covid shot. My vet recommended this vaccine and I think it's great for my fur baby. Being around a lot of dogs at Wag Hotel for day time play can but uneasy. I hope management will take this serious and step up their requirements for vaccines. Watching my dog having the coughs was not okay. Receptionist could do a little better with answering questions. read more

Great place! Upon entering the facility is very clean and inviting. They have a nice lobby with cool toys and other awesome gifts and treats for your fur baby(s)! They also do grooming which is what we went for. I really appreciated the communication about my boy Sunny and the Tie at the end when I picked him up was just the icing on top!! Thanks again "Wag Hotels" Carson well back! read more

I was really excited to use this place but it was absolutely impossible to get in touch with them in time to trust them with a reservation. This place is terrible. I dropped my dog off for a bath and nail trim and when I got him back his tail was tucked under him and he would yelp randomly. He couldn't hop on the bed and wasn't playing like he usually does. Took him to the vet and he has a slipped disk! 1k+ later my dog is still on the mend and is on bed rest for the next two weeks. Groomer didn't mention any issue, just turned him over hurt. I called the place the day after to find our what happened and they didn't give a shit about my dog. They said they had to talk to the bather and would get back to me. Haven't received a call. I wanted to understand what happened to help my dog and see what they could do to to help with this unexpected bill. Save yourself the hurt of your pet and money. Do not bring your dog here. read more

My dog loves playing with his pup pals at Wags in Carson. He gets so excited on the days he's going to daycare that he can barely contain himself. The staff is always so friendly and they know my pup by name. It's also great that they have an app with the daycare cameras and schedule for the day. This place offers boarding, grooming, day play and training so it's my one-stop shop for everything! They've also stayed open during COVID which has tremendously helped with my work schedule. Wags does seasonal activities that create memories (photos, ornaments, cards, etc.), which makes it feel very personalized and special. My dog always falls asleep on the ride back home because he's had such a fun day with his friends. Highly recommend Wags! read more

I love on how the employees are friendly, understanding, and excellent memory. I have been taking my dogs there for years. ***update: I added a star because the staff does care about the pets. Although today I picked up my dogs from the kennel and there was more issues.... I paid for the 10 day package and pick my dogs up after nine days. Somehow I still owe money even though there was no additional requests. Plus, I guess there is a timeframe you have to use the package or you will lose your money?! This really should've been communicated to me before I made the 10-day package purchase. ***original: Every time I've come here to drop my dogs for extended stay it is problematic. Paperwork has gone missing. I have booked appointments that somehow don't get on the books even though the person I spoke with in person confirmed everything was good to go. One day I came to drop off my dogs because I was going on a trip. We were turned away because we were missing a shot that expired on that day. I was caught off guard because I had called to see if all the records were good in advance and was told there was no problem. Today I am leaving for a business trip out of the state. I called to confirm we have our spot still and to request extra blankets for them. The last person I spoke with prior to today informed me that I could no longer bring in a sleeping bag for them but that extra blankets would be provided at no charge. Today I guess they have changed their policy as I am in forms I will have to pay extra for this service. I'm already paying a pricey bill to have them stay 10 days. I get no refund option if I do not use this service I paid in advance. However, it troubles me that my dogs will be in discomfort because I can't bring a blanket that will support their joints and I cannot afford to pay even more money for a service I was told I would get. Furthermore, I pay to use the room with the camera. Sometimes that doesn't work but they still charge me for that service. This place is untrustworthy. I think dogs that can be left alone are fine, but dogs that need some attention are overlooked. read more

I bring my Rocky here once a week for all day play and he loves it. He's been coming since they opened. I've also boarded him and they are wonderful. Every time I pick him up he's pooped out. I brought my dog here twice last year and it's such a nice facility in the front. We're not allowed to go to the back but from the looks of it, it seems well The online registration process is easy and booking an appointment is really easy once your dog is registered. Due to COVID were not really allowed to go inside the facility. They get your dog from the door and bring him back outside when you pick him up. Both times we've utilized the overnight option and we get him an extra treat. He hasn't been neutered so he cant have the all day play with the other dogs. So we get him extra one on one time. He appears to be happy when he's there but he usually has to pee really badly when he comes out so I'm not sure how often they take him out to use the restroom. I will definitely bring him back and recommend it if you're looking for an overnight stay or just a daycare if you're looking to get away for the day. read more

I had a "Game Night: birthday party for myself, so I decided to take Lucky to the Wag Hotel, and while he was there I decided to have him groomed as well. Since the website was down, I had to go to the facility to make my reservations. Erin, Wag Hotel employee, was simply AMAZING! She started our conversation with an apology concerning the website and handled my request with integrity. Erin's spirit and overall attitude is contagious! She reassures me that Lucky's stay at the Wag Hotel will always be a great one! So when I picked Lucky up the next day, I received an overall stay review about Lucky stay at the Wag Hotel. They explained how well he played with the other dogs, how much he ate and what times, and how well he did with the Groomer. I can't see myself taking him to any other place for my dog to stay!
