I started seeing Dr. DeCola for my two dogs and I loved her gentle and caring nature with my dogs and her willingness to spend enough time to give a thorough exam and answer any questions. I highly recommend her. About two weeks ago one of my dogs who had a long and active life needed end of life care. He took a quick downward turn and he and I needed to see a vet right away. Dr. DeCola wasn't available, but Dr. Harter was. I knew this would be a final goodbye to my beloved dog and I was very emotional. Dr. Harter agreed to see me and my dog asap. When we got to the office Allie, one of the vet techs, took us into a room and explained our options. She was so compassionate and caring. She was so good to my dog. Then Dr. Harter came in and answered any additional questions and explained the procedure and what to expect. Dr. Harter allowed myself, my daughter and my daughter-in-law to have as much time to say goodbye as needed. Dr. Harter was so gentle with my dog and so loving. Her manner was very comforting and I felt like my dog and I were in safe hands. She allowed myself, my daughter and my DIL to stay in the room and comfort my dog, even after he had left us. No such thing here. They have staff here multiple times a day even on office closed days to care for the animals. Dogs and cats are cared for in the facility. They even have an isolated area if an animal has a contagious illness with it's own separate ventilation system. Wow!!!! From the looks of it they definitely know how to care for your animals. When my husband came home with Amelia I was told this. I then called and was told ¨Oh yeah she had a couple treats and because YOU bring food that needs to be kept cool we forgot to feed her¨ For three years we have fed her Fresh Pet when we bring her to day care. This totally throws off her feeding for the day. She cannot eat after 7:00pm for she takes Oral Vet for dental and cannot eat after taking this. I was also told ¨well our Mang. knows this¨ Next day care day I told them she is going for free since YOU did NOT provide her basic needs.
