I tried Yelp, but it wasn't serving up places that were conveniently located, so I asked a friend. I was heading to Georgetown and she suggested I stop here on the way up. I'm glad she did. Super fast, no wait. Unexpected for the 31st. So I got my inspection, renewed my registration online easy peasy. 10 minute inspection. State inspection. Super fast. Great service.

Breakfast tacos? I'm in!!!! I was fueling up gas at Speedy Stop on a Saturday morning and I decided…read moreto check out the Tacos Frescos inside. When you walk in the door, it is on your left hand side towards the back. Lucky for me, only one person in front of me. I decided to try the carni taco (egg potatoes cheese sausage and bacon) and Pittmaster (egg potatoes cheese brisket). The prices aren't bad at all. They will add salsa to the taco before closing it up. I went with the green sauce since it's spicy. The taco definitely filled up my belly. The green sauce definitely packed the heat I was looking for. The Pittmaster was the highlight of the show. It has more flavor due to the brisket compared to the carni taco. The carni taco has pieces of bacon. I mainly tasted the egg and potato more than the sausage/bacon bits so that is why the Pittmaster was better. Overall I had a good experience and will try it again if I'm in the area.

The store is very clean and organized. There is a sign above each row that gives a good synopsis of what the row contains; I do believe it is more descriptive than most stores. It made shopping easy. If you've been to any QT then you know what to expect here, but this one is brand new and looking…read moreall shiny. Besides plenty of covered gas pumps, QuikTrip is known for a well expanded convenience store with tons of drinks and foods available, and this location is no different. Besides long walls of glass doored refrigerators holding a huge variety of bottled and canned drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, there are large sections with more than usual fountain drink options, iced tea, coffee, and even multiple frozen drinks. Additionally behind the register is the kitchen that serves quick service to-go food like sandwiches, pretzels, milkshakes, and lots more. You'll still find a roller grill on one side of the store as well, but it's nice to have more options. They're also known for having roomy, clean bathrooms too, so this is always a good stop on a road trip. And I appreciate how efficient the employees are too, with the ability to use two registers at once to keep the traffic moving so fast, and they're well trained and friendly.

The car wash didn't work so I went into the store to request a refund. (over the years we have had one or two car washes thru out Texas not work & were cheerfully given a refund). The lady at the register went to get her manager when I requested the refund. The manager said it would be reset & to try again at a later date. I asked for a refund as not always in the area. I did get my refund, but the manager seemed very irritated and said something about corporate not wanting that done. In her defense, it might be that store's policy to never give refunds for bad or non working service. But as for us, we will take our business elsewhere. Don't want to spend our money where our patronage is not welcomed.
