First time ever in Waffle House. I gotta say it was expected in a good way. Service was friendly and quick, food was good and even people who came to eat looked friendly and quite and respectful. Price compared to portion is great

Food and service were fine, but half of the staff did not wear their masks covering their noses, including the cooks.

A lot of burgers around here are either way too thick or too thin. These were just right, like a double quarter pounder (the gold standard for patty thickness argue with a wall). The indoor seating was on the small side but the ac was great! A lot of local beer to choose from to make your own six pack to go too! Also, outdoor seating with umbrellas. No "full" bar so some drink options weren't available- like a martini for example. We ordered off the brunch menu and most of our plates were left totally empty. Honorable mention to the chicken and waffles, just the right about of succulent chicken and crunchy exterior. My French toast was very yummy too. Portions are larger which is nice. Our peach Bellini carafe afforded a few of us a glass with our meal. The crispy brussels cane highly recommended but they were a little charred for my taste. Service was prompt and courteous. A great brunch spot through and through!

We were led to a back dining room with a nice large window to the patio and comfy half booths. Our Server, Braxton and his colleagues were SO AMAZING! All of our questions were answered and they didn't judge how many apps we ordered LOL! No pics but the Fried Green Tomatoes, Onion Rings, Philly Steak and Cheese Eggrolls and Loaded Deviled Eggs were ALL divinely delicious! Our entrees were the Hawaiian Pork Bowl, Bourbon and Coke Meatloaf, Chicken and Waffles and Chopped Steak. So many options that were each unique and executed perfectly! At this point we aren't about to let Dessert pass us by! My son and I ordered the Blue Lagoon Bread Pudding (in honor of Shark Week), others in our party had the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and Carrot Cake. The most exquisite ending to our meal. I can't leave this review without commenting on our drinks! I was the one non-beer drinker but found the Paladin Sangria to be hands down the BEST Sangria anywhere in town! Everyone else enjoyed their Specialty Beers as well! This spot definitely lives up to the hype! We will definitely return!

There are no tables but instead they have been replaced with grocery shelves as it is being turned into a small neighborhood market. They have a bar in the back with a few seats however don't expect to have your family along because no place to sit. Out of T-Bone steaks which they advertise as the daily special always. Out of vegetables and sides with the exception of potato salad. Woman behind the counter said owner was too busy with doing other things like driving a school bus to attend to keeping the grill properly stocked. Place has as much abeyance as a back alley New York dumpster site. Just looks plain dirty inside and out. Located in one of the worst areas in town. When I mentioned what they advertise on their website the matron behind the bar apologized saying that web site is years outdated. Absolutely nothing on the website is accurate! Left disappointed and hungry.

The setting is genuinely charming, and our waiter was excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly trying to guide us toward the better choices. The Peruvian Tuna Ceviche was one of the real highlights, although to me it ate more like a tuna tartare. Fresh, bright, and very good. We finished every last bite. The blueberry dessert met the same fate, and those were basically the two plates that could have gone straight back into the cupboard. Unfortunately, that was not true of most of the other dishes. The Old "Quack" shioned, a duck fat washed Old Fashioned, sounded clever but did not work for any of us. I love duck and I love bourbon, but combining them only proved that two things I enjoy separately do not automatically improve each other. Some relationships should remain strictly platonic. The Blackened Shrimp & Grits had very good shrimp, but the presentation was messy and the dish never really came together. I had the Seared Heritage Pork Chop, which came highly recommended. I love a good pork chop, so I really wanted this one to work. The potatoes au gratin were excellent, but the sauce was overly rich without much depth or flavor, and the pork itself somehow became the least interesting part of the plate. That was disappointing. Lovely location, excellent service, and a genuinely pleasant place to spend an evening. Unfortunately, the food was too uneven for the price, and I am not sure I would return.
