I stopped in Thursday afternoon while I was in the area and grabbed a seat at the bar. I tried the Sour Cherry Mezcal Margarita and the BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders--both new choices for me. The margarita was a miss. It was too tart for my taste, and the ginger was very overpowering. I finished it, but definitely wouldn't order it again. The sliders, on the other hand, were really good! I swapped the caramelized onions for raw onions, and the unique slaw that came with them was excellent. Plus, they were 50% off during happy hour, so that was a win! Kevin was my server. He was kind and the service was fine, just not particularly friendly or engaging. The ambiance was much like the other Hudson Grille locations I've visited, and the restroom was clean and well maintained. Overall, nothing was necessarily bad about my visit--it was just okay. The sliders were definitely the highlight. 3 out of 5 stars for me.

My entire dish was so salty, I drank 3 tall cups of water and was full halfway through my grits but I didn't want to take it home cos I know I wouldn't finish it when brought home. I hope they fix the level of salt otherwise, I love the consistency and texture - has some bite to the grits.
