Your waitresses are loud and rude.. had to ask for a fork napkins u get 1 btw.. no booth was clean but yet they doing nothing..also forgot our waffle.. like I said even at the end had to wait for our ticket and Bacon i couldn't eat was so hard.. they are not respectful to the elder and did not offer a senior discount if y'all had one.. won't go back that one i would fire them all.. music so loud as well no stars here.. read more

Have been coming to waffle house on city service in sulphur for past 6 or 7 years because of Mindy she always makes me feel welcome like an old friend and has never gotten my order wrong . Her customer service is what I brag about to the salesman in my industry. it's the way every customer should feel special and you are always happy to see them. I love this place!! The food here is consistantly PERFECT. This place is always clean! This is the CLEANEST Waffle House I've ever been to! The staff members are all fun, friendly, and very helpful with all of my questions and concerns because of my special dietary needs. I always look forward to coming here, any time, day or night!! The cooks are very entertaining and the waiters are excellent conversationalist! We have a great time any time we go to this Waffle House. None of the others can compare! I've never been a fan of WH, but my husband and I stopped on our way back to Houston from Lake Charles. I ordered eggs with hash browns, ham, and a biscuit instead of toast. My husband ordered bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast. The food was pale. The toast wasn't fully toasted, soft, and cold. The hash browns were pale, no crunch whatsoever. The real kicker was the ham. It looked pretty good - browned and caramelized on the outside. I took a bite, and it was cold. Not room temperature, but like it had just come out of the refrigerator. They brought me another one. That's why I gave my review two stars instead of one. I took a picture of the biscuit I received. It was a biscuit and gravy. The gravy was a cold, gelatinous mass that sat on top of a toasted biscuit. I will not visit a Waffle House again. read more

Super super bummed about this latest visit. While we expected there to be a wait, which there always is, this was bordering on ridiculous. When we walked in, there were approximately 6 people waiting for a table. We looked around and in very quickly assessed that there were approximately 4 tables with stacked up dishes that just needed to be cleaned. When another guest who had arrived before us asked if he could help clear the tables so that people could sit, he was met with a roll of eyes, sarcastic mumbling, and ignored. I understand everybody's understaffed. That's reality nowadays. But just because you're understaffed doesn't mean you could have permission to be rude to your customers. I keep seeing signs that say please be courteous to those of us who did show up. However, how about be courteous to the customers who still are patronizing your business when they have to wait. Freezing night, limited menu okay no problems...1st night in Sulphur besides their server being as DUMB as a box of rocks...food was okay!! Pretty good. I cleaned my plate. I loved the pecan waffle. Only downside was that I was still hungry when I finished my meal small portions.

When i walked into this waffle house i felt as if i entered a rehab facility. Most of the workers were obvious crack heads but thats not my main concern the place was just so nasty and dirty. There was food all over the ground and around the stoves. My food wasn't good at all. My hash-browns were super greasy and my toast was like non toasted bread with a chocolate chip sized blotter of butter. Some nights this waffle house does good but this experience was terrible. Worst Waffle House ever. The place is completely trashed every available spot in the place was full of dirty dishes. Trash all over the floors that look like they haven't bern cleaned. Angie M was my server, and she got the order completely wrong I ordered a Texas chicken melt and received a melt with a hamburger patty. I ordered extra crispy hash browns and those were extremely disappointing, way to greasy and not crispy at all. I would not recommend to anyone!!! read more

I give it a 4 on the waffle house scale. Service was quite slow. I didn't get all of my order. It was pretty clean for a waffle house.

Good size breakfast for a lot cheaper than competitors, only downfall is not a large seating area but the hospitality makes up for it.

Dined here on the way home from the casinos, it was pretty unorganized in the kitchen. Overheard one of the workers that was supposed to be there wasn't because she got hurt at her other job. Some of the employees looked like they were arguing with each other. Like other reviews here the food came out in increments, didn't get my hash browns till last. Needs better improvement. read more

Always loved WH but the only 'down side' is the staff changes EVERYTIME we go there. The food and prices are great and the new staff each time has always treated us like they have known us for years - but they haven't. I would give them 5 STARS if only the staff would stay the same for a bit longer. read more

Pretty good, although, I asked for hash browns"all the way", their term, and got no gravy, no chili, no cheese, little tomatoes and mushrooms, but too many jalapeños. Nice people, like that they had an overseer who made sure the tables got cleared and cleaned quickly. I will go there again, maybe be a little more expressive when I order though. read more

Today we stopped in and was taken care of by Sabra. This young lady did an amazing job hustling around and taking care of business. Very polite and helpful. You can also see she was helping the other team members. So far best experience we've had at Waffle House this part of Louisiana. If you ever go to this location, ask for Sabra, she will take care of you. read more

I was so upset with the service today that I had to create an account, so I could wright this review. Waitress was friendly,but things went south fast after placing our orders.Restaurant was not busy,around five customers eating at time we arrived. Four people in our group and we were very hungry(excited). We placed our orders.Two steak dinners with eggs and hash browns,a BLT , 6 eggs with hash browns and bacon. Our drinks came right away,but it was 20 minutes later before we saw any food. My wife and I got our dinner steaks brought to us on a plate,with no eggs no hash browns no sides at all. 5mins later my two friends get half there orders too. One got his bacon and waffles but no eggs no hash browns. My other friend who was eager to finally get some food in front of him,was disappointed after getting his BLT order. He only eat the sandwich but not his hash browns,because they were cold and he also removed the tomatoes in his BLT,because they looked colorless and not fresh. He told me that he was shocked because he had been looking at that plate he got,it had been ready for well over 10mins,but was not brought out to him. My other friends order that came with the waffle and 3 strips of bacon.Waffle was good,but the bacon was over cooked and dry. He told me that if he had not been so hungry he would have sent his food back,but he didn't. This was going to be a quick stop for food,but it was the opposite. Back to my wife and me,well we finally got our eggs and hash browns,just over 20mins later from the time the waitress first brought out our two steaks. The steak had got cold because we wanted to eat the steaks with our sunny side up eggs,so we waited. I have never had a meal brought out in pieces like that. To give you a idea of how bad the service was,and how long my wife and I waited for eggs and hash browns.My friend who got his burnt bacon and food first,well he ate then went outside to smoke,then drove across the street to fill up on fuel,then drove back to the Waffle House parking lot and that's when my wife and I got the rest of our order. I was not paying this time but if I was,I would have asked for 50% off or a full refund. My friend who was paying didn't want to make a big deal about it since we were trying to hurry and get back to Houston. He said he would not be back here to eat again. After finally getting to eat the rest of our meals,wife and I went outside to meet back up with my two friends.They ate,paid,left to get fuel and drove back smoked,all before we got our eggs and hash browns to go with the steaks. They friend that paid told me that he was given a 20% discount from our waitress. 20% off for bad service and cold,burnt food?? Not good enough. I will say this,that when we did finally get our eggs,they were good and that was the only highlight of this long(more then a hour)painful experience. my wife likes the food here and she was shocked with how bad the service was today.We had been to this location two times before and had good service and good food each time. Hard to believe how bad is was this time.We watched customer come in and sit,order,eat and leave,before we got our complete meal. This happened two more times,they came in ordered,ate,and left before my wife and I got the rest of the meal we ordered. Very bad experience. read more

Moved from Georgia and have been looking for a good Waffle House ever since. My kids and I found it this morning. Ebony and the rest of the staff were amazing. Food was good, service was fast, and they still had time to entertain the kids. I would definitely recommend. read more

I been to many Waffle House restaurants but definitely won't stop here again. Wait time was more 30 min. The service was bad. There were several cooks in the kitchen however food was served in parts. Who owns this restaurant? Definitely not coming here again. read more
