I hadn't been to a Waffle House in probably 15 years. We stopped here after a concert, after midnight. It was a bit busy but we were surprisingly in and out in about 30 mins. Our server Raven was wonderful! Some of the most attentive and best service we've had in a long, long time, including more fine dining establishments. While we were in the area over this past weekend, we made it a point to make a pit stop before unwinding for the night. There isn't a Waffle House in Palm Beach County sadly, so we have to make a road trip in order to make a visit. All is good and breakfast for dinner was a success. The 2 egg special was the fix. I got the eggs scrambled with cheese, whole wheat toast, and grits with cheese. My husband got the same thing except he got the hash browns instead of the grits. The kids got a waffle (a MUST!) and a burger. The first of the waffle adventure begins. There is more to continue in the few upcoming reviews. Our waitress took our order happily and made sure it came out in a reasonable amount of time. The quick and friendly service made it worthwhile. We had a party of six on a busy Saturday morning. The wait was a about 15 minutes and we had to split up into 3 booths which was ok by us. The people that work here have a passion for what they do. Our waitress was personable and efficient. You won't find better hash browns (add onions or jalapeño for extra flavor) anywhere. I didn't order their waffles this time around but I have to believe they're amazing. When your from the Midwest you miss having this breakfast go-to place available. read more

Now my husband absolutely loves Waffle House. We were on the road and looking for some where to grab a bite. Turned into Waffle House in Plant City. He ordered his waffle and I wanted something different. Our waitress suggested their chicken sandwich which comes with bacon. I am one who likes to try recommendations from our waiter/waitress so I went with it. I tell you I am so glad I did. Now it may look simple but I tell you that it was a reeeally good sandwich. Excellent Pork Chops. Cooked just like I asked them to do. White on the inside, but still juicy and tender. Not dry and chewy like Chops can get when they are overdone. Good helpful service. Gave me 3 different options for a sauce to try. Typically I don't use sauce on meat. I tried A1, Tabasco and Heinz 57. The 57 won easily for Pork. Clean bathroom, but the hand dryer was broken. It's not very often you get southern hospitality at a Waffle House. The staff here is absolutely incredible and furthermore they are incredibly staffed. On the way to Clearwater we were incredibly starved so we decided to stop here. Food: I'm not sure what really to say here, we've all had Waffle House but I guess we don't all have the luxury of having a top class Waffle House near them. I ordered the Texas Bacon Patty Melt with Hash-browns. The patty was cooked very well and the bread was toasted to perfection. Their bacon was also cooked well (depending on how you like your bacon) and the hash browns were golden crisp on the top. Without boring anyone further the food was very good. Staff: Great! We sat ourselves but almost instantly received service. We got our drinks ordered and delivered right away and the food came pretty quickly too (again they were very staffed). There is something about making a road trip, Tampa to Orlando, that feels touristy and like you are on vacation. With me, all these trips seem to focus on getting started with one of those breakfasts that is just right. This time my choice was the Waffle House, which sometimes can be a crapshoot; however, this time when I rolled the dice, I came out a winner. Just like any other Waffle House, it is setup like a dinner with booths and chairs surrounded by windows with the kitchen being the center of attention. As I was travelling alone, I did not want to take up a booth so I started for the counter; then I realized, that being 5'4" my legs were going to get tired from setting a stool where my feet would not touch the ground. Fortunately, they had counter style seating with regular chairs that allowed me to sit comfortably. So far, I really liked my experience as there was; no waiting, fast service, and the tables were very clean. All the condiments were clean, not sticky, and filled ready for use. Even though the kitchen in these places is extremely busy appearing to be in chaos at times, the staff never once failed to offer a friendly hello and a smile. I was in the mood for basic breakfast, just eggs and bacon with a side of hash browns. The bacon really stood out with its crispy, savory, and salty flavor. However, it was not crispy where it broke apart and shattered into thousands of pieces. It was just crispy enough to let you crunch through to a chewy center filled with a wonderful savory bacon flavor. The eggs and hash browns were perfect nice, hot, and prepared as ordered. The hash browns were prepared with a crusty top with a tasty under layer of warm, soft potato shreds. With the buttered toast, this was exactly what I was expecting for breakfast. The only thing I would warn against is the sweet tea was so sweet that it would give you an immediate sugar high or potential sugar coma. Every time I ever been to Waffle house since I been down here they never can get my eggs right .. you can see that's why I stop coming alll together. i just gave up. I like them well done, a lil brown with cheese. and they did them right!!! I didn't even know they had an extended menu. Next time you go-ask for the extended menu with the omelettes on it. This is a very standard Waffle House. As with any business, their service can be different depending on a lot of factors. Every time I've been here has been very acceptable.
