    Cut up freshly cooked waffles

Food has never disappointed! The cook with a positive attitude and friendly server who knows how to handle any mistakes or misunderstandings by serving hot fresh food! These workers around 12pm-5pm do an excellent job! Please owner, fix the app TouchTune that is connected to jukebox music, it is not updated in this location.

3.5 stars - Service was friendly, restaurant was clean, food was typical diner fare. Not great, but not bad. Convenient location near the interstate.

Friendly servers and great food. Perfect bacon, over medium eggs & hash browns helping start the day off right. Nice job, Waffle House #131.

Food was great until I found a hair in mine! After that it was a wrap for me! Our server was really nice and the hospitality was great!

Best waffle house I've been to hands down. The staff is so friendly, and they make sure to help you get everything you want and need and quick! It also was clean! I would definitely stop here again.

Stopped by around 11 pm on a late Saturday night after a long day of high school tennis before we hit the turnpike back to Tulsa. The familiar bright yellow sign gave way to a super clean and much more modern interior. It is apparently somewhat new according to our server Carmita who was very friendly and on top of our service. It has counter seating plus booths and a few tables. The bathroom was clean which is a nice barometer for any restaurant. My son had a Philly cheesesteak hashbrown bowl, and I had a Texas patty melt with hashbrowns. This was my son's first trip to a WH, and I think he was a bit overwhelmed by the vast menu options! . He enjoyed the bowl, citing the meat in it as really good. The patty melt was perfect - buttery and griddle toasted bread, soft, melty cheese and bacon plus onions. The hashbrowns could have been a bit more crispy for my liking, but that was my only complaint. I could have remediated that by requesting them crispy but forgot to. I also had a Mr. Pibb - I rarely drink soda let alone caffeine. No coffee for this guy either! (Strictly for medical purposes, not anything else). But the Pibb is hard to find in restaurants, and it was a nice flashback to my younger days. Check out this WH on your way to the City or on your way home eastward. It's a great hot meal in a super clean and friendly environment!

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. You can't go wrong by dining at The Press.

My friends chose the Press Cobb and Breakfast Bomb. They were both very pleased and stated there was many options on the menu they would be interested in trying.

We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and were quickly greeted and given menus, place settings & ice water by one of the bartenders After about 5 minutes our order was taken - I didn't see the gluten free pancakes on the menu so I wasn't hopeful but when I asked the employee said that they do in fact have gluten free pancakes! I ordered pancakes 3 ways - creme brûlée, blueberry with lemon & a pig in a blanket along with 2 scrambled eggs & the candied bacon Hubs got the breakfast tacos, side of bacon and an Irish coffee Candied bacon came out with the Irish coffee quick - both were so good! I'm not a pepper fan so when I saw it on the candied bacon I was nervous, but it didn't overpower the flavor at all Next came the tacos & my smazing plate of gluten free PANCAKES!!!! The tacos looked good, but in all honesty I didn't ask if it was good because I was SO focused on my plate :) The pig in a blanket was my fave - the bourbon syrup was so good, there was a little spice to the sausage which was a nice balance The blueberry lemon was great - light, flavorful and just yummy The creme brulee which I was anticipating the most - was good, but wasn't my fave - maybe I was too full by the time I got to it but it wasn't as nummy as I'd hoped I'll be coming back next time I'm in town

These were in the Truck Stop plate and the Cannonball biscuit sandwich that we got. Absolutely loved them! We also ordered the Benny Mix and Match with the Pork Chile and the Which Came First, both of which were so flavorful and rich as well. As dessert, we tried the Strawberries and Cream biscuit, which I wasn't sure about at first but was so sweet and delicious! That price isn't even including a tip. This place has always been pricier than the rest, but a couple years ago they used to give your to-go coffees in a mason jar so it was justified. Now the mason jars are gone, the cups are barely bigger than a claw clip, and somehow they're charging even more. This was my fourth time here and I wanted to give them another shot, but it'll have to be my last try. You can get much better coffee at a much more fair price at other places in the city. The only strength Elemental has is that it has a bit longer food menu than other cafes, but if you're paying more than $20 for a tiny coffee and a mediocre snack then you are wasting your time and money. Also, I don't expect you to yell a welcome or fall on your knees to greet me when I walk in, but the service here is miserable and always has been. The barista asked me how I was doing, to which I said good thank you, then just stared at me for a good few seconds. I guess that means go ahead and order here. A simple "what would you like today" would suffice. Most places you get used to waiting a second while the barista prepares the system, so if that's not the case, just say something. Then they hand you your to-go drink without a lid, because the $9.50 you spent doesn't cover that level of labor and you need to do it yourself. I love to support our local coffee shops here in OKC, but you'll never find me recommending Elemental. Which is a shame, because the mason jars in my cabinet at home are a good reminder of when they served unique and fairly priced coffee. I am so thoroughly disappointed that I made an account just to say this. At least the espresso is okay.
