Excellent service. Food was perfect with Dustin cooking. Restaurant was clean. Staff was very friendly.

Workers had their kids here and it was more like a daycare. Cook was yelling at one not to come behind the bar. Kid walked in kitchen anyway. We were only actual guests there and yet every single table was dirty. When I asked the waitress to wipe table she looked at me funny. Another waitress came in for her shift and was taking about being sick all day. Her kids came too. Took a pen from her kids mouth and used it to take orders never washing her hands. So disappointed I love Waffle House but this isn't a restaurant it's a daycare. read more

There are two locations located here in Marion, North Carolina, they serve great food, and a reasonable price all items on their menu from breakfast to dinner have what any family wants. Great gravy and chili to top your hash browns with or they can be enjoyed separate. You get to watch them prepare your food it's like diners from my childhood with its nostalgic feel. I understand they were busy but they took our drink order and we waited about 30 minutes for just our drinks and by the time we got our food half of it was cold and some of it was so overcooked it was inedible it was by far the worst experience here it was very disappointing considering every other time we've been here it's been great! read more

Was a pretty busy when I arrived but the staff were all very friendly letting me know that a table would be available in a minute. I wasn't in a rush and waited patiently. When a table opened up the waitress took my drink order and also took my breakfast order. Was very quick and prompt. Excellent food as always and good customer service. Only complaint I have is a bitchy old woman who I assume was the manager of some sort was continuously yelling at the workers. Felt extremely sorry for those employees who had to work for such a crank. But kuddos to them for not letting her influence them on how they treated the customers. read more

Delivering Amazon all day long and had 30 minutes for lunch. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes an watched 4 waitresses pass me and serve 2 tables that came in after me. Finally the young girl washing dishes got me a coke to drink, still couldn't get anyone to take my order. after 20+ minutes and no lunch I paid for my drink and left. Food was good. Service was horrible, and they weren't that busy with 5 people working and only 3 tables. They fixed the part of our order they got wrong, but it took long, and then ignored us when we were trying to check out, and the waitress couldn't come cash us out for some reason so she told another waitress the cost of our order instead of anyone actually ringing it up. That $26 was no big deal and it's just that the bad service caused her a bad tip, and we are always patient, understanding, and good tippers. This was an especially crappy experience. There was a bee and many flies buzzing around inside (gross). Hot mess overall, just glad we were only passing through this place on vacation. okay - yes - it's Waffle House, but for a quick breakfast it can't be beat - the staff here is very friendly - the cooks check on you to make sure you like your food - it's an Americana/Diner thing for me too - when I travel I eat at waffle houses for breakfast - who can resist an All Star?!! Stopped for breakfast while on our way to Beech Mountain. And oh my lawd am I glad we did! By far the BEST Waffle House I have ever been to. From the service to the food everything was exceptional. I have never been to a Waffle House where I can honestly say the food was good until now. It was like their food was truly made with love and care! They are good when it's 12:00 and down they give you your food nice and good and they are okay on cleaning but overall you could come here

I'm usually here day shift hours, and food and service are great! I was here night shift hours today and surprised at the difference! The woman who took my order never came back to my table after bringing me coffee. The cook told her my order was ready. It sat there til he brought it to the table. I really wouldn't rate this at all. But I want to save someone the trouble. My family and I walked into the place, the floor was a dirty. We sit down at a table and the table was dirty from someone else. Which we knew that. We were going to wait for them to come and clean it. The guy walked up and started putting our napkins and silverware onto the dirty table. We told him that the table is dirty from the previous customers. He looked at us, like we were stupid. And then he made a noise about having to clean the table. While he cleaned the table he left the silverware on the dirty table. Wow...on the silverware was food on them from the table..ewww. I told him that the silverware was dirty. He got mad again. And went back to look through the silverware that was on the dirty table to see which ones was dirty and to give us the other ones. We decided to get up and leave. We told them very nicly that we were going to go somewhere else. A's we were leaving, the manager ask the boy, why we were leaving.
