Malvern, AR location is a great one to stop at!
Deana M.

WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! After many many years of avoiding even trying them again after our terrible last experiences, we gave in and did today, and are we so had we did! Customer service, food and cleanliness were five star today. You can tell it is nothing new again so I'm so happy for Malvern and the Waffle House Owners. We were ruined before but in one visit they have made up for it! Thanks!

I visit Waffle House whenever I'm on the road. Simple food prepared right. This one is perfect. Corey is a super helpful team player and Kay's laugh is infectious. The buzz and banter is always half the fun at a good WH, and on this visit this one was just perfect. It is a mental reset from the tedium of the road.

My husband and I stopped at this AWESOME little food truck passing through from the Midwest on our…read moreway to FTW. We got here right at 9a when they opened. Such pleasantly sweet people! They have many options to choose from (biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches/quesadillas, fried taters, burgers and so much more - I wish I would've taken a pic of their menu up close) and the prices are ON POINT. I don't think anything was over 13$, but we're certain anything that is would DEF be worth it. We ordered the loaded sausage quesadilla to split. It was packed with flavor and sooo filling that we didn't even have to stop to eat until we got to Dallas. BEST sausage breakfast *anything* I've ever had. They have a few picnic tables out front and didn't mind that we sat outside to eat with our dachshund. We were on a road trip and that was much appreciated! We prefer food trucks over drive thru/indoor dining so when planning our trip and seeing this place as an option, especially with our dog, we knew this was the place to eat. We just didn't know how GOOD it was. I will def be thinking about that quesadilla forever and wish I lived close by so I could eat here more often and try all they have to offer. Side note - I don't remember if they offered anything to drink. We had our own juice and coffee so it slipped my mind to look. *We both 10/10 recommend this food truck*

Did I say their food was five stars! Edit: Ok, so the burgers were so big my wife could only eat half. But 5 hrs later I find myself in Memphis wishing I had a snack...BUT WAIT! I do have a snack and let me tell you the other half of that hamburger after riding in the car for 4 hours and sitting in a refrigerator for another 30 or 45 minutes and let me tell you it was delicious! I can't wait to drive back through on Tuesday and stop again. You guys stop by!

They had some nice specials yesterday, so we decided to try it. When we called, I asked what side dishes were offered with the specials. She would not answer me directly, saying "We have all of our sides available." Not having a menu in front of me, I asked her to name some recommendations. She said, "mashed potatoes and gravy" and when I said that I wanted that, she said, "Oh no, we're out of that." She did the same with baked potatoes and could not remember what side dishes were available besides purple hull peas. We kept guessing until we found two that she said were available. That was frustrating and she started sounding irritated with us. My husband got the double-dipped pork chop. He said that It was cold, bland, and chewy He found it inedible. My chicken fried steak was worse, not just cold and chewy, but also grisly and greasy. The gravy and sides were so heavily salted and peppered, that I wondered if the chef had any tastebuds at all. My purple hull peas had these unsightly, slimy pieces of bacon that would have been good a few hours ago, but how were just nastily breaking down in the juice. I would not even feed that to my dogs, it got thrown in the trash. The serving tray that I received looked as though the purple hull peas were thrown from across the room, they were splattered all over inside and outside of my tray. It was a mess. I will not be back this time. I give up.

The only thing that was not exceptional was the "home fries," which were deep fried instead of grilled and lacked any seasoning or additional ingredients- just cubes and fried. For two people we got out for under $60. My wife had the avocado on toast and, again, everything including the bread felt like it was artisanal. Our server was prompt and polite, checking in on us a few times and asked us about our day. This is our best dining experience over the course of a few days in Little Rock.

It really wasn't that busy, but our server was pretty inattentive. We waited longer than we should have for simple things, and it was hard to get their attention. The food was decent, but my biscuit was basically falling apart the whole time, which made it kind of frustrating to eat. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. It honestly tasted like straight cleaning chemicals -- I took one sip and couldn't drink it after that. Not a terrible experience overall, but definitely not great either. I'd maybe give it another shot, but this visit was just average for me.
