Yeah, not so much... I try to support local businesses. But only businesses that TRY to succeed. Dingy. Poor service. Bad, reheated food. And that was just breakfast! And, for Gawd's Sake, don't offer a credit card for orders less than 12.00 (actual sign there), or you get a whiney explanation of the cost to THEM for processing a card!! This is your down home, country diner. The one you cruise the back roads looking for, as I did about a year ago. Besides the good food (burgers, sandwiches, daily specials with vegetables, etc.) they have fresh made desserts! Last time's Coconut Pie is what brought me back to day... but alas, that was yesterday's offer. Today it was Bread Pudding! The waitresses are so sweet and I will go out of my way to make it back here for lunch instead of McDonalds, just down the street. It is every bit as much Americana and you need to try it. read more

We stopped in for breakfast after reading other reviews and were not disappointed! The owners met and greeted us, the waitress was very friendly and food fantastic. The country breakfast is like what my grandmother used to make. Breakfast with 2 perfectly cooked eggs, two sausage, biscuit and grits under $6.00 It's well worth the six minutes drive off the freeway! read more

I did not like this place, it felt dirty and dingy, and we were seated in the back where we could see into the kitchen and there was a ton of junk sitting around. It looked like a hoarder's living room. The worst part is that they allow their patrons to smoke cigarettes on the front porch, so you have to walk through this cloud of stench to even get in. There were not very many choices to begin with, then the waitress informs us that they were out of a few items. I swear if it were just me or my husband wasn't so hungry I would have walked out. The pancake syrup and hot sauce bottles were really dirty and gross. Nasty. Never again. read more

Good burgers, friendly wait staff. Was worth a few minutes drive from the interstate to avoid a fast-food drive through meal.

Agree with earlier reviews. Food good staff treated us like family. Gotta get there early for pie. They were out at 11:30 am.

We came in for breakfast. It was our server's first day so the owner stuck with her all the way through. The owner was a very gracious lady who made sure that everything was great. The biscuits and gravy were very good and our side orders of bacon were crispy and delicious. I have never received that much bacon for breakfast! Usually restaurants skimp on the bacon, but not this place. If we ever go through Malvern again, we will definitely come back. read more

This is a must restaurant to visit! The food is fresh and hot and the atmosphere is family friendly! The owners Darrel and Shu are fabulous people! I don't think that I have ever gotten out of there without a hug from one or both of them!! I have never gotten a under par plate of food here! Make sure you save room for dessert! This has got to be the absolute worst place in town. Maybe even within 3-4 counties at least. It's just nasty. The staff is ok I guess but the whole place stinks like an old musty attic that's been closed up for years and the food seems to take on the same taste as well. Friendly, welcoming servers. Delicious pies. Menu and also daily specials. Well/seasoned Cisco food, but a better option than most.

I like small, independent diners. The Place exceeded my expectations! Clean, fast, friendly. The breakfast was prepared as ordered, the biscuit and gravy was amazing...and the price was very reasonable. You are missing out if you have fast food over The Place. read more
