Not sure which shift all these bad reviews are coming from, but every time I've come in to this location, it's always been stellar service. The cooks are quick to deliver the correct request and the servers are always quite pleasant and very respectful. If you want "not dry" scrambled eggs, you may as well as for it raw. That's what I ordered and they were DRY as can be. Also, asked for hash browns scattered and smothered. Literally, they were smothered with onions, not mixed in like I've gotten at other Waffle House locations. Because it's a Sunday, it was loud but we were seated quickly and it didn't take forever to pay. If you want items cooked a certain way, I honestly go some place else or try to S-P-E-L-L it out for the server that's too busy to pay attention to exactly what you've ordered. I'll start by saying that I love Waffle House. It's the classic "greasy spoon" where you know you're going to get good food with no thrills or frills. I do, however, expect courteous service. I walked in at 8:55pm this evening and there were 3 employees inside the restaurant - 2 women (1 black and 1 white older lady) and an older black gentleman. They all looked up at me but didn't really acknowledge me. I asked if I could place an order and the older white lady said "I'm counting the drawer because we're doing a shift change, so it's going to be a minute." I said that was okay and asked approximately how long that would take. She said "Well I've got to do some other stuff after I count so about 30 minutes." I told them that I had cash, that I could leave enough to cover the meal, tax, and tip if the gentleman on the grill could prepare the food. Then they could just ring it up when I left. The younger black lady looked at him and repeated what I said because he didn't hear. He looked at me and said "we're closed." then he just stood there staring at me. I said "oh, I thought it was just because they were counting." He repeated that they were closed. At this point I was like "whatever" and just went to the other Waffle House a mile down the road. Today November Friday 26 at 9 I walked in to order for my family and encountered the worst night shift workers at this Lilburn Waffle House. I walked in and asked if they were closing since they were counting money and cleaning, the lady (white old lady) looked up at me and gave me a look only to continue what she was doing without saying a word. Her coworker continues to look at me and tell me she'll be with me in a second "she's counting money" I stand there not in her face but close enough for her to acknowledge me, when the male cook sees I'm getting impatient he takes my order. Once my order is being made the old female worker goes on to look at her coworker (the other female) and says "people be coming in under shift changes" "are you guys closed are you guys open" mocking me "if they're so hungry go fucking cook at home stop being lazy" along with "one day I'm going to get fired for the way I talk" and they start laughing. once she finally wrote down my order "if you want put down a tip" I just payed for food no tip for the service and goes on to say "lovely" in a sarcastic manner read more

This is the Waffle House I go to in the Lilburn area. The service is great, so much better than the others in the area. It's Waffle House. Quality of the facility hardly varies location to location. Quality of food hardly varies location to location. Service is what determines a good Waffle House. Not only does this Waffle House have happy, friendly staff, but they are also extremely efficient. They were fully staffed, had enough cooks and servers to accommodate the Saturday lunch rush. The hostess promptly greeted each person (some by name) and sat them immediately, when possible. When a group finished and left she wished them a happy day and quickly cleaned their table for the next guests. Good job Waffle House! read more

If it wasn't for the good food this Waffle House location would only get 1 star from me for the bad service and the loud rap music that you have to endure while eating. We went here today for a late breakfast. A short time after placing our orders, the waitress brings my wife's food and says to me, "You're not eating?". I said that I placed my order at the same time my wife did with the same waiter (not the same person that brought our food). Bottom line - my portion of the breakfast order did not get placed with the cook. I finally got my breakfast by the time my wife was half way done with hers. read more

As Waffle Houses go, it's pretty much the same as any other. It's always clean and you don't have to wait long for a seat. I really like the pecan waffle. They don't skimp on the pecans. The grilled cheese sandwich is decent and goes well with hash browns. My friend got a steak once and it was overcooked. I'm amazed at how efficient the short order cooks are. This was my second time at this specific Waffle House I always go to another because it's that bad the first time I went one of the waitress expected me to give her tip once she gave me back my receipt, and pointed it out to me saying "Tip here" and me being the nice person I am I tipped her and I felt that I had no choice but to tip her. If I could give them zero stars I would. One, I get in there and almost died because the whole restaurant smelled like bleach. Our server was making snide comments about us when we were walking in. TERRIBLE customer service!! We went in and sat ourselves, and they would not serve us. I asked them if they could grab the dirty plates off of our tables, and the waiter guy told us that we weren't told to sit there. If you want quick, cheap food here's the place to go. I usually order to take out which takes a bit longer to receive your food. I've dined in before just a little unclean, but what do you expect from a Waffle House? I get the all star breakfast and the steak sandwich delicious. It's 1130 on a Sunday night and my husband and I couldn't wait to get down to waffle house. We go to this waffle house all the time in the morning. The staff is usually very friendly and takes really good care of their customers. Tonight that was not the case. We walked in at about 1133 and no one said hello to us. We sat down at a table for almost 7 minutes before an older server just glared at us, grunted and went on what he was doing. A few minutes later he walked over to our table and didn't say a word and put down some silverware. He then walked away and we finally got up and just left.
