FINALLY made it to a Waffle House. They don't have these in California, but I wish they did - grits an all. The service staff seemed to enjoy working with each other and were pretty friendly as well. Food is simple. You can't have much expectation here, and for the price you get quite a lot of food. My eggs were cooked a little too much but otherwise my blueberry waffle was a bit too sweet. I can't complain though, I enjoyed the food quite much and maybe that's heavily to do with me wanting to try a Waffle House for years.

The whole time I was in here, I felt like I had been transported in time to some 1970's truck stop in Wichita. 90% of the patrons were men, and most of them had on the typical cliched outfit of a trucker hat and plaid shirt. There was a jukebox, which i was dying to play since there was the enticing lure of a Waffle House jingle selection, but since everyone looked very hard-nosed and business minded, I didn't dare. I ordered...what else, but a waffle, which was tasty, but I had to eat it plain since the "butter" was this hideous chemical spread and the "syrup" was on par with Aunt Jemima (vile). A side of sliced tomato arrived shockingly tiny, pink and mushy, which would have been acceptable in Ohio, but certainly not in a place where the growing season lasts 12 months. Bacon was acceptably crisp, but unremarkable. If you are on any kind of diet, it might be wise to steer clear of this chain as they really only give low-calorie and "healthy" options only the slightest nod. You are coming here for coffee, giant piles of hashbrowns and patty melts. The service was adequate, but not terribly pleasant or chatty. The place could also use a serious overhaul in terms of updating the decor.

Dry hash w barely any jalapeño

Got bacon medium wasn't medium but that's was fine and triple hash with gravy and jalapeño and got back home to eat and wasn't enough gravy or jalapeño for the servings so I went back I didn't worry about the jalapeño but I needed more gravy and they made us pay $1.00 even though they barely put any in the first place and it still wasn't enough I'm going to post a picture to show how dry you get gravy for it to be smothered not for it to be like plain hash .... 2-10 the one in plant city always does a good job on the portions of gravy vs hash def worth the drive over there to avoid this Waffle House again

This location is a great little place. Friendly Waffle House fan fare food. Grit bowls not on the menu but they still make them on order.

If you can find a way to get here though you absolutely should. I've been here a couple times and had people bring me things from here and I'm always very happy. My favorite thing I ever had here was a chocolate peanut butter pie, which was mind blowingly good. However, everything I've had from here has been pretty spectacular. I highly recommend the cookies here. I really love cookies, but their brown butter cookie is incredible. The pastries are really good too. I really enjoy the glazed croissant and I recently had a lemon twist that was very good. Finally, the sandwiches that I've had from here are both really good as well. I've only had the breakfast sandwiches, but I enjoyed the hot honey sausage biscuit and the bacon breakfast sandwich. 5 stars.

With how popular this spot is, I'm honestly surprised they don't have someone helping guide new customers through the ordering process. Even when ordering online, the atmosphere can feel pretty loud and hectic because of the crowds. That said, the food is amazing! I truly wish them the best because they definitely have something special. They just need to find a better way to manage the flow of customers and make the overall experience a little smoother.

We've been coming here for the better part of 10 years. Seriously, this place is fantastic. Today we came in just after the lunch rush. And what makes me write a review after all this time is because The Reuben has been added to their sandwich lineup. I am a sucker for a good Reuben. I love some of the various versions out there like a Grouper Reuben or a Turkey Reuben but there is nothing like an original. The bread is their marble rye which was already freakin fantastic; patty melts are phenomenal here. The ratio of corned beef and sauerkraut was spot on perfect. Don't you just hate it when it's out of balance? The cheese was perfectly melted and the dressing was oh so good. It was sandwich heaven. My apologies for having no pictures. I don't know if I was especially hungry today or what, but when the food hit the table the hubs and I dove straight in.

We finally got a table to share with other people. My Mom and my older brother Bill ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. They said the Corned Beef was pretty good, but the Cabbage was tough and not good. My brother Jonathan ordered the Pancake special with sausage and home fries. They didn't warn him that the pancakes would be green, lol. We thought it was pretty funny, but he said they didn't taste that good. He loved the rest of his breakfast. I had the French toast and bacon with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. I loved the French toast and bacon, but didn't like the hashbrowns and eggs. It was really hit or miss. The restaurant didn't seem very clean either. We had fun anyway.

Believed to be a "Scratch Kitchen", this amazing find has a menu that I find myself excited about returning to try. We ordered a drink and an order of the Frescos Egg Rolls. The drink was spot on and the Egg Rolls amazing. We opted not to order a main course due to eating just a couple hours prior but I knew right then and there that I'd be back to try other selections from the menu. Appetizer of fried green tomatoes was marred by slices of tomato that were so thick that the knives on the table were incapable of cutting them. This same issue carried over to the green tomato blt, which was almost impossible to eat bc of bread that was also too thick. The bacon was so overcooked as to be dry sticks that shattered into tiny bits when you tried to eat the sandwich. The fries were allegedly hand cut, but looked & tasted like (cold) seasoned frozen steak fries. The FSKB chicken salad croissant was just a soggy mess. And the eggs Benedict featured "Canadian Bacon", which is a US marketing term for round slices of bacon, not Back Bacon or Peameal Bacon that is actually served in Canada. Overpriced & not worth a second try.
