It was a cold day and we were looking forward to some Colombian cuisine which was new to us. The place was easy to overlook as the signage didn't really stand out. And more construction is ongoing along Hwy 301 further obscuring visibility into this location. In any case, this is not a "sit down" restaurant as we had to place our order before sitting down. We previously checked out the menu online so we pretty much knew what we wanted to order. I ordered the Paisa Bowl ($17) and my wife tried their Steak and Papas bowl ($20). We also ordered French fries ($3.50) and a can of Coke Zero ($2.50). I thought service was a tad slow (there were maybe 5 tables occupied including us) but we were served our lunch soon enough. Our first impressions were good presentation but the portions were meager. The fried pork belly pieces were nice and crunchy but there weren't enough of them. The ground beef had good flavors and I liked the fried egg over the rice and beans. My wife liked the flavor of the beef, although a bit fatty for her taste, but found the potatoes a bit dry and wished they were French fries instead. Speaking of French fries, it was served with this savory dipping sauce but again, the serving portion was miserly. My wife thought the guacamole was nice and fresh, making it the best part of her meal. All in all, we came away liking the flavors but thinking the value and portions were lacking. Service was a bit detached as well. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to just over $51.

It's a reference to the World War II days. You can ask AI What it stands for because I can't post it here. I thought it was excellent. The white sauce has cheese in it, probably Parmesan, but it has a very rich delicious flavor. The Home Fries are great too! I look forward to trying the corn beef hash and fried Bologna sandwich.

The place was more spacious than it looked from the outside. We were seated in a booth promptly and were presented the menu. In addition to coffee, my wife ordered the Farmer's Omelet with potatoes and wheat toast. I had their Special Breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, potatoes and wheat toast). Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. We were digging into our hearty breakfast in no time. My wife liked her omelet...it wasn't soggy as others and the veggies were sauteed. My meal was equally good with ample portions. Liked the thicker bacon with just the right saltiness. My wife also appreciated the bigger cup for her coffee. Lately we've been seeing smaller cups which could be problematic when/if the servers aren't on top of things with refills. Good food, generous portions, great service, and good value. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to just over $34.

I was told the butter was where the prepared food was placed on the counter for customer pickup. Order after order was put out. My friend had almost finished his order and I asked the preparer about my order. I looked at my receipt and saw that it was rung up as a salad with potato soup, not the baked potato that I ordered. That order had sat there on the counter for some time. I asked the preparer if she could replace the soup with the baked potato that I ordered and was scolded, "We don't have baked potatoes." I did not want potato soup. After getting snapped at instead of being offered something else, I took the soup and salad to my table. The Asian salad was delicious! Too bad the portion was smaller than a mini-mouse could be satisfied with. It would take 8 of these salads to equal a real salad. I fished out the tiny potato blocks from the gooey cheesy mess and tried to eat all of them, but couldn't get through them. The tiny piece of bread was OK. I can't recall ever leaving a restaurant angry that I stopped there.

First Watch understood the assignment…read more Let's start with the Farmhouse Hash because wow. This is not your average "throw some potatoes in a bowl and call it brunch" situation. The potatoes had that perfect golden crisp, the eggs were cooked just right, and every bite somehow managed to be rich, savory, and balanced all at once. It is the kind of dish where you keep taking "one more bite" until suddenly it is gone and you are mildly offended about it. The Barbacoa Chilaquiles came in strong with bold flavor and just the right amount of attitude. Saucy, layered, and satisfying without turning into a soggy mess, which is honestly rare. The Elevated Egg Sandwich lived up to its name. Clean, fresh, and put together in a way that makes you feel like you made a responsible life choice while still enjoying it. Hardwood smoked bacon did what bacon should do. Crispy, flavorful, no complaints. And the Project Sunrise coffee was smooth, easy, and exactly what you want backing up a meal like this. Everything felt intentional, balanced, and actually worth the price. This is the kind of brunch that makes you forget all the mediocre ones. Five stars without hesitation. Just note the quality of food they use, and enjoy.
