We stopped by Jimmy John's Inverness when we were passing through the area. Jimmy John's is always a solid choice - it doesn't matter where you are, the food and service are consistent. It wasn't busy at all when we were arrived and we ordered and took our food to go. The staff was friendly and made our orders quickly. I'm a creature of habit and always get a Turkey Tom unwich which substitutes a lettuce wrap for the bread. The ingredients were fresh, the lettuce crisp, and the subs are always filling. I appreciate the great wrapping job with the unwich because I was able to eat it while driving. I've had lettuce wrapped burgers and sandwiches from other places and they always fall apart but not at Jimmy John's. They've accomplished the impossible, lol. read more

I can only review about the Drive through service since Jimmy John's dining room is closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We drove up to the sign and intercom system and we were greeted promptly by an employee named Hannah. We explained that we were first time customers and to please give us a few minutes to review our options. She graciously gave us all the time we needed. Jimmy John's offers three bread choices for your sandwich. French bread sub roll, 9- grain sub roll and finally thick sliced wheat bread rounds out your choices. Jimmy John's also offers a low carb/keto option for your sandwich- it's called an "Unwich". I think this is an excellent idea for those who want something lighter that isn't a heavy carb meal. All their sandwiches can be made in these four choices. The sub sandwiches can be ordered in two sizes: a 8 inch or a 16 inch. I ordered their 16 inch (go big or go home) #7 Spicy East Coast Italian on 9-grain sub roll. It came with double Genoa salami, double Capicola (an Italian ham that has a spicy rind) and double Provolone cheese. My sandwich came with the following condiments: hot peppers, Jimmy John's special sauce, onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo. You can add some freebies added to your sandwich. Options are yellow mustard, Grey Poupon mustard, Jimmy mustard, mayo, oil and vinegar and dried oregano and basil. I chose the oregano and basil mix. Jimmy John's has other add ons for your sandwich which is an upcharge. Their sides are limited to different flavored chips, dill pickles and cookies- very similar to Subway. Drink choices are soda in two sizes and bottled water. My hubby ordered their 16 inch #13 Jimmy Cubano also on their 9-grain sub roll. It's their version of the Florida favorite Cuban sandwich EXCEPT theirs is not pressed and doesn't have sliced pork on it - instead Jimmy John's uses bacon. It has Smoked ham, bacon, cheese, sliced pickle, mayo and dijon mustard. We gave our order and proceeded to the first window to pay the continued to the second window to get our sandwiches. When we were handed our bag we right away noticed the discrepancy in size between our two sandwiches even though we both ordered 16 inch sandwiches. The problem was corrected with an apology and without delay. We both agreed our sandwiches were delicious, loaded with meat and cheese of good quality. Veggies and condiments were plentiful and the bread was the best 9-grain we've had. We definitely will be back to sample other sandwiches including their "Unwich"! Jimmy John's beats Subway hands down in our opinion! I would have given this sandwich shop a 4 star rating if it wasn't for their error in my order so it's a 3 1/2 star rating for now! read more

All I have to say is they better up their game. I didn't want to order another skimpy sub on hard chewy bread but my sister wanted to try JJs again. I tried a tuna slim sandwich and added cheese. When I opened it up, I thought they forgot the tuna. There wasn't even enough tuna to cover the bread. So disappointed but now I'm definitely getting my subs elsewhere. read more

When I first tried Jimmy Johns it was like heaven in my mouth. I made sure everyone I knew tried their sandwiches. They were so good! I'm not sure what has changed or it may be the influx in orders but it hasn't been as good lately. I order about once a week sometimes less, depends on what I'm doing that week. So this past week I ordered a sandwich and added the guacamole and never got it on there. This week the sandwiches just weren't as good but hey this time the guacamole was on there. I am a frequent flyer at this Jimmy John's location. The restaurant is a part of a two-store plaza and can be a little intimidating to get to due to the tight parking lot, but I promise you it is worth the trip! The store is always well cleaned, the tables regularly wiped down, and the staff is extremely friendly. The managing partner at the store is personable and remembers me when I visit the location. The food is always consistent and Jimmy John's fresh. The food is a classic deli-style sub. No frills. It is fresh meat, vegetables, and bread. There isn't a whole lot of bells and whistles. This is exactly what I look for from a lunch sandwich. If you are looking for a friendly staff, quick meal, and pleasant lunch experience then look no further. read more

Wish I could give less then 0. I was on the look to try something new and as my first time. I know now not to come back to this business. The people they put in position as manager complain about phone ringing and saying out loud that she will love if people will just stop calling. I walk in trying to see how's the thing because one again is my first time and the employee which at the end I found out it was the manager was straight rude, rushing me the entire process which I was ok because I was trying to understand that maybe the store was on a busy moment. I try to order the cubano and only thing I did not ask for was pickles. When I'm sitting down I see that my overprice sandwich has no bacon which it's supposed to be included. I approach to the employee that originally took my order and that I saw that prep my sandwich and she was not apologetic at all and just pass me a couple pieces of literally frozen bacon you could see the ice crystals and everything, and the entire time she was in a rushing and not willing to give costumer service. After all I ask for refund because the experience, the quality and the entire environment was straight they don't want business. Jimmy John's Inverness is our favorite sandwich shop. We're frequent customers, but have never taken the time to share our experiences. This week we enjoyed our favorite Spicy East Coast Italian with salt and vinegar chips, chocolate chip cookies and iced tea. As always, the drive thru service was quick, courteous and correct in response to our phone ahead order. And, as always, the meals were delicious. Our experiences with JJ's walk-in/drive-in services have been equally satisfying. On those occasions, we have been impressed with Jim, the owner, and his spotless work areas and dining spaces. We appreciate the crew's strict adherence to COVID precautions. Overall, Inverness Jimmy John's is consistently 5 stars in all categories. read more

Well I like JJ so I'm biased. I like the Italian night club in a unwich. I have had people tell me they don't like the bread. Most do not know that you have three options. The standard sub roll, the unwich, and the sandwich bread. So the unwich is the outer round of a head of lettuce. It is odd to eat the first time, you should try it though it will surprise you. The sandwich bread is very soft and good. So remember you have choices. Since this is a very tightly ran food chain I have never had a bad meal at JJ. read more

I've been here a couple times now and normally I don't go out of my way to complain but each experience is terrible. The employees are rude and seem like they don't know what they are doing, and they really just seem like they hate their job. I get that working at a Jimmy Johns probably isn't luxurious but at least be pleasant. After hearing that something was put on my sandwich that was never requested I informed them that I did not want that condiment, to where they blankly looked at me and then didn't insist on remaking it and pressured me into taking the sandwich. What started as a simple order turned into mass confusion. What it boils down to is there is a lack of customer service training or the employees just don't care. Also to add to injury I ended up finding a hair in my sandwich. Long story short I will not be returning. read more
