On the way to an appointment, I was craving comfort food. Waffle House appeared on the Horizon. Tiki Hubby and I sat at the counter. Greeted by the very busy staff we had our drinks in seconds. Loud and busy we watched in amazement as Marcus and Deshaun did their magic and made us a yummy hot breakfast. My favorite is their cheese omelette so light and fluffy stuffed with cheeses goodness, whole wheat toast and the famous hashbrowns. Delicious. I have to say Patricia was helpful and kept our drinks full, and my praises to the cooks they both work none stop getting fresh orders out and to the hungry customers. Marcus Patricia Desh read more

I'm a Waffle House lover. I have never had a disappointing meal at any of their locations. But this one is by far my favorite location. The staff is always so friendly to me. I love that there's always music playing on the jukebox box. The atmosphere is lively. They move quickly to turn tables. They always prepare my special requests to order. And the price is always right. I even have food to go. read more

Waffle House can be great or very bad as most everyone knows!! This Waffle House on IH30 in Garland is truly amazing from the great welcome from their staff to quick service, helpful suggestions by our waitress Chy (pronounced Shy) and great food cooked by Cam - he knows exactly what SOFT cheese & eggs are! My husband and I were happy to find this truly delicious WAFFLE HOUSE! We will definitely be back to this location!! No pictures due to food disappearing so fast! We rate this 5 store stars !!!! read more

Waffle House - Yummy - Waffles Near Me - Garland, Texas

Listen, when you come in Waffle House, you're gonna have a very specific experience. This place gives you that experience of Americana in the best way. I almost always get the All Star Special with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Don't come on a weekend morning because they'll be slammed read more

Thumbs up good place to eat Friendly staff quick service, food is good and the price is right read more

The food sucks the service is racist and the management doesn't care about understaffing. You're better off eating at IHOP.

Love Waffle House!!! Hands down 10 times better than IHOP. Love their waffles and they have the best grits

Classic diner, all American breakfast served quickly, by a friendly staff. Coffee & hot tea are good & your water glass says full. Last of the reasonable priced restaurants. Hot, syrup & butter slathered waffle, done well here.. read more

I don't know who is cooking and what recipes they are following because this is the nastiest waffle house I ever had in my entire life. Off top I am really not a fan of waffle houses, but fiancé wanted to try them so bad. It was disgusting. I 10 out of 10 would not recommend. read more

Great place for family and food while dining in, experience was great, love the jukebox , love staff, and a clean restaurant

This is the perfect place for late night grubbing. We came here around 12:30am one night and it was fairly busy. Not busy enough that we had to wait on a table. I tried the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious and CHEAP. My favorite thing about this place was the people watching. There were some lookers, for sure! read more

the worst experience ever.. the lady was cool, the food was disgusting af.. we ordered and had our food in 2 mins, the pattys were not cooked properly, and they taste like rubber. read more

You never have to eat alone when you are at Waffle House! Whether it's the waitstaff or a fellow diner there is always someone to chat with if you want. Just pull up a chair at the "bar"! read more

This place is not safe to eat, they do not clean the dishes you eat off let alone the areag you eat in. The cook went outside to take the trash out came back in and started cooking but he never changed gloves. How is this place even still open. The picture below is the bottom of my plate just imagine how old that is. read more

Waffle House - Waffles Near Me - Garland, Texas

This is our Sunday after church spot,COVID 19 take out or waiting for that perfect booth spot. We love the staff, they are like family. This place has good food and is affordable! Don't look anywhere else for goodness! read more

My spouse and I placed an order on the new app for a to go order however, the options we wanted were not on there. We drove up there and decided to dine in because there was a ready booth. My husband is disabled so this is quit a hard thing for us to do..... we grabbed the attention of the waitress and told her we wanted to change the order to in restaurant instead of to the next thing I know "Joey" came to the table and said you cannot do that my husband simply asked why he said because ITS A TO ORDER. It's on the door again my husband can barely walk he looks down and would not have seen it and I did not see it.... My husband asked why is that the policy "Joey" said I don't know call corporate and then had enough of his condescending tone and attitude I asked why he was being rude... I'm not needless to say we cancelled the order and I am not arguing the fact a to go order is just that a too go order but this guy was a team lead and he acted like a jerk... we have gone to that Waffle House for 12 + years.... I made a scene because I wanted everyone to know the discrimination and condescending manner in which they acted. So I gave it 1 star because there is option for negative star that Waffle House sucks and they are jerks and frankly there food is nasty just horrible attitude read more

This location was once good. Got a take out AllStar today. They left the country gravy off of my LARGE order of hash browns! When I called the surly manager said I could either come back for my gravy right now or later. Since I didn't want to drive 10 minutes each way for a side of gravy they forgot I said no way! ALWAYS check your order before leaving this location unless you enjoy dry hash browns or a thankless return trip. Marcus NEVER would have screwed this simple order up! Won't be back and wish I hadn't tipped $3.00! read more

Food was mediocre, the cook was slow and lazy but the waitress was cheerful amd nice...I'm told wafflehouse is normally a pretty good place, but I don't want to find out. Once was good enough for me. read more

This place is great, and not just by Waffle House standards. The hash browns are, as expected, the best thing ever. They're just soft enough, but just crispy enough. The sausage is nice and dark, but not overcooked, the bacon is crispy and delicious, and the grits are creamy and smooth. The service is fast, friendly, an attentive, and the cook is clearly a boss at what he does. Having not been to a Waffle House in 6 years, I can honestly say I'm so freaking glad this place exists and I will probably be here every Saturday to get a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese hashbrown bowl. This is by far, the best breakfast I've had in years. read more

This is my fav waffle house location. The food is always hot and delicious. It's one of the best after hours spots in the area. Try the loaded hash browns. It is a family favorite. Or, try an omelet. Either way, you cannot go wrong with the waffle. Maybe the reviews are bad because people expect too much from waffle house. read more

The food was great, our waitress was very kind actually the waitress is the shit felt so good to have great customer service thank you Quaila...... You made our morning .... Best regards DivaMo and Mack read more

The typical post booze inspired bender spot. Would've been a 3 star experience if it wasn't for the cigarette smoke.

Just nice place to eat breakfast and its very quick never have to wait to long for your food. Nothing fancy just it bwtter than eating at fast food restaurant like McDonald. read more

As my husband put it, "feels just like a Sunday morning breakfast at home with Mom..!" Tasty & fast friendly service..!

The only reason I was helped was because I said something. The staff was unpleasant and miserable until the manager walked in they just stood there as I waited 10 minutes just to get my order. Then they still got it wrong after another 30 minutes waiting read more

The food was really disgusting. The hash browns were burnt and the waffle was really hard and thin. The grits were really dry. My coffee tasted like it was 5 hours old. It takes a lot for me to complain. But today was just horrible horrible horrible. read more

If I can give zero stars, I would! This place is disgusting and the people who work there are rude. I orders several waffles, hash browns, and CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. For starters we received nothing but waffles back. We also received breast chicken. I have been to Waffle House and when I ask for chicken and waffles, they always give me a waffle and chicken strips. Apparently, according to one of the workers, we did not specify what kind of chicken we wanted. On top of that, they tried accusing us saying we did not ask for hasbrowns. Instead of saying, I'm sorry, I did not hear you mention hasbrowns. They decided to accuse us and say we did not order it AND decided to charge us STILL. After mentioning the two nasty chicken breast in our order, they replaced the chicken with chicken strips at no cost, BUT only including ONE chicken strip for my two chicken and waffle orders. I will never come back to this nasty place every again. It wasn't even about the workers messing up our order, it was the fact that they were rude and unprofessional. read more
