I want to start by saying that I have been to several different Waffle House restaurants that span over 3 different states and this is by far the absolute BEST of them all. The food was AMAZING and the staff was off the charts! Maggie, Crystal, Beth and Ricky were wonderful! I am allergic to milk and they went above and beyond to ensure that my food didn't come in contact with any dairy products. I can't say enough good things about this location. What can I say....this place is a total dive. Run-down looking place, minimal menu choices, 1 waitress & 1 person cooking (who was new & bring trained by the waitress). LONG wait for food which was just ok. I could have gotten a WAY better burger & chili @ Wendy's just down the road!! Then we listened to the waitress telling another table about a party that came in & spent $60 & left no tip, which she also said she refused to serve them the next time they came in. We were visiting the area from out of state, it's the 1st and only waffle house we've ever visited. If you're looking for a clean place near by, the food is tasty. We were served in a timely fashion, they were very attentive to us. You can't see the KFC cook coming your food, but you can see the cold here! If you're looking for hot chocolate on a cold day or night, they don't have that. read more

We visited this Waffle House location while returning from a trip to Northern Kentucky. We both had the 2 egg meal with toast and hash browns. This is possibly the most racist Waffle House I have ever been to. Not only was the waiters incredibly racist, they were also fighting with each other in the kitchen. The kitchen was dirty and the place was falling apart. Would NOT recommend if you are a person of color. read more

I love Waffle House especially when I'm starving but this Waffle House is rude. They wright nothing down. Messed up with it drinks. We all 3 asked for coke and she brought 2 chocolate milks. Then proceeded to Leave them on the table behind us. There is no where to sit because all the tables are filled with trash even though barely anyone is here. We asked for specific orders and changed some thing like no tomato or how we want our eggs or no hash browns and the whole order got messed up. She proceeded to bring out dirty silverware then waits 10 mins grabs our forks and bring them back to be rinsed 10 mins later comes back leaves then comes back 10 more mins and takes the order. I'm pretty sure you know what kinda slop your gonna get in a Waffle House... This was pretty much standard here I recon. It would generally garner 3 stars from me but our waitress was fantastic. She put up with and interacted with our crazy kids (it was Christmas Eve and they were pumped all day). She did everything you would ask out of a Waffle House waitress and then some and got a good tip for it. Nice staff standard food.. July 23, 2015 11:00 am We generally like Waffle House, get good service and decent food. Not so at this one. The cook needs a lot more training especially in cleanliness. He grabbed raw bacon, sausage and hamburger with his bare hands through it on the grill then wiped his hands off on his apron. He cracked eggs into a bowl then slung the egg white that got on his fingers onto the floor. Our sausage was cooked on one side only and my scrambled eggs were overcooked to the point of being crunchy. The gravy on the hasbrowns was cold. Our waitress Kimberly, dropped our food and disappeared. We had to ask for a second cup of coffee...she never asked if we needed anything, just kept disappearing. We finished eating and decided she wasn't coming back so we could get a final cup. We got up to leave and pay, she then appeared and asked if everything was okay. My husband said "Not really. " but she ignored the comment and tried to cheat him out of $2 change. When he brought it to her attention she argued with him. He had to show her the receipt on how much he gave her before she shot him a "Sorry. " and gave him the change. We will never return to this Waffle House. read more

I just went to waffle house in dry ridge later this afternoon wasn't happy I have ate there a lot and never experience what I did today. I order western omlett with hash browns and I had a bite in my mouth felt something hard thought it was just an over cook piece of hash brown took it out my mouth and instead it was a piece of wire. told server she acted like no big deal finally went and told manager first they was going to just deduct the hash browns off my meal and I said no I think my whole meal needs to be deduted so it was but the bad part was the manager never even came out to talk to us like it was no big deal to her this was around 3;30 on march 2nd 2019. I worked in the restaurant business for like 20 plus years and I always seen a manager go out to the people and talked to them when a foreign object was found in their food I am very disappointed with dry ridge kys waffle house managers it should have been handled more professional and with more concern cause I wasn't even asked if I was cut in my mouth by the wire or anything Thank you mae verax of Williamstown ky read more

Tonight we had a less than enjoyable experience. Taylor was our server and she was very animated in chatting with the cook and off duty employees in a rear booth and not so much concerned with us. In serving our drinks her hand was cupped over the top of our drinks, she got two of the four food orders wrong and did not offer beverage refills for any of us. We were served our meals separately rather than as a group Taylor saying that she just didn't want to carry too much at one time. While the food was adequate it could have been better had the cook been more attentive to the task of cooking rather than loudly chatting with our server and the off duty employees in the rear booth. The restaurant smelled of sour mop water and while the restaurant and the visible parts of the kitchen appeared clean a closer look reveals a lack of concern for a sanitary dining experience. I always enjoy going to The Waffle House for good breakfast eats in a diner atmosphere but tonight's experience was a fail. read more
