The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options. I decided on the grilled chicken tenders and the catfish fillet dinner plate. My food arrived in about 10-15 minutes. The catfish fillet dinner came with French fries, one side, and hush puppies. I asked the waiter if I could swap the fries for a healthier option, and she recommended baked broccoli, which turned out to be warm, fresh, and delicious. The grilled chicken tenders were a highlight--served hot with great flavor. The catfish fillet was decent but didn't quite impress enough to earn a perfect score; it had a bit too much batter for my taste. Prices were reasonable, and the service and ambiance were excellent, featuring an open kitchen. I look forward to returning to try their breakfast on a Thursday or Friday. She was very helpful with menu items. She took my order quickly and made sure I have everything I needed. The manager, Kristen was super sweet. She was very informative about the stores opening plus information about the surrounding area. I told her that I had pulled into the Huddle House parking lot but saw their sign and did a u-turn. She thanked me for coming and was very Appreciative for my business. The cook, Chris did a wonderful job with my food. Every time he passed by going to the back he checked on me asking if everything was okay. The "Big Boss", Tamara was there helping out. He was the one who made my waffle. I told him it tasted so good "It snatched my soul out of the air!" LOL I was so impressed I left everyone a tip, from the Big Boss down to the cook! They are not a huge place, but if you drove through the southeastern United States, you more than likely have seen their bright yellow buildings. My usual go-to at a Waffle House is usually their patty melt or maybe one of their breakfasts centered around eggs. Despite the fact that the word "waffle" is literally in their business name, I have never had a waffle at a Waffle House. I prefer a savory breakfast over a sweet breakfast. The real star at Waffle House, at least in my opinion, is their hash browns, which you can have topped with a slew of various toppings. I usually mix it up, but chili and cheese is usually in the mix, along with several other things. Again, this to me is what makes Waffle House unique in its selection.
