Waffle House has become an iconic part of the landscape of the southeastern United States. These yellow neon lit buildings have fed countless road weary travelers, families with laughing children in tow, late night revelers and people from every walk of life. My go to choices are either the patty melt or one of their egg and meat breakfast options. But for me the big allure here has always been their hash browns. You can get the hash browns topped with a variety of toppings, you can't go wrong with chili and cheese, but really it is whatever talk to your heart. I guess you might find it odd that I have never had the waffles at a business where waffle is in their very name of the business but I am just not into the sweet type breakfasts. Whether waffles are your thing or not oh, I would recommend visiting a Waffle House, this location or any of their locations. Jada is an absolute rockstar at this Waffle House. Went in Thursday night where Jada was serving, cooking, and training two new waitresses...all without breaking a sweat. The burger was great and prepared quickly. Even while running the whole store herself (it seemed!), she still took time to chat and make sure everything was great. It was such a disappointing experience Friday, August 18, 2023. Our server was new, she was truly sweet & incredibly friendly. You could tell that she was nervous, but doing her best! There was this other server (Brianna) who was being unnecessarily mean, downright rude, & appallingly ugly to her! Other patrons were talking & with such filthy, vulgar language & instead of the cook on duty or the server (Brianna) who were both interacting with them politely asking them to stop talking in such a manner, they joined in & were talking filthy & vulgar too! My order of well done, fried eggs had undone, runny parts in them, the amount of sliced tomatoes weren't as promised, my daughter's toast was dry & not buttered, my waffle was late being made & late being brought to the table. We made the most of it, we encouraged our server who was clearly new & learning, in training, we were patient & she was truly sweet. My daughter & I prayed for her & continue to pray for her.We feel & felt very bad for her with that server (Brianna) being ridiculously awful to her & the cook could've been MORE kind to our server as well! The cook really should've corrected the server that was being so MEAN!!! Our experience a month earlier was truly wonderful. However, LAST NIGHT'S experience was an absolutely nightmare!!! That new employee was so precious & really needs a manager & crew to help her, come along side of her & be there for her as she trains & learns, but NOT in such a volatile & hostile environment!!! The servers here actually care about you and your food! At other locations all I saw was unprofessional staff who are not friendly or courteous. The food was quick and the kitchen was clean. I did expect waitresses trash talking one another at OSHA involvement levels and that's what I got. The other customers seemed to enjoy it so who am I to complain? Consitent waffle house quality... The 5 stars because our server was amazing... It has been a long time since receiving service as i did. Ordered ribeye with all but 2 addons to my hashbrowns. Remember we are waffle house so our food isn't going to blow your socks off, their new dark roast coffee did. The downside to the coffee was it cost extra for the dark roast so make sure you will drink at least 3 cups... You will its that good. And my server brewed fresh for me. Like other waffle houses food was delivered quick, the server was extra friendly and my drinks never reached bottom (why is this service so hard to come by). It was busy to!! Chili and gravy on my hashbrowns may sound gross to you but i like my hashbrows smothered, cheddared, wolloped, plopped, galloped greased and grilled all their fixins steak was seasoned right and finally got over medium eggs over medium... I'm anything but picky but this was a bonus. It was cleaner too then your average waffle house from restroom to the kitchen so plus for as well.. Great job guys read more

Great people serving southern comfort food. Don't write a bad review just because the food is mostly fried on a griddle; that's the way it is here. Know your restaurant before you stop. That said, the food rarely comes out differently than I ordered; it will be almost always be right (we all make a little mistake every now n then, right?). If they make that rare mistake, they are happy to fix it right away. Great people here on second and third shift (when I usually stop). It's one of the more consistently correct places I dine. Stopped here on the way from Louisiana to Indiana for lunch. It was very clean and the service was fast and friendly. Food came quick. I got the All-American and asked for crispy hashbrowns instead of grirs, sausage and poached eggs everything tasted great, my hash browns were cooked to perfection. The only thing wrong was my eggs were slightly undercooked and my pork chops weren't to her liking. Outside of those 2 things it was perfect. read more
