This place was dirty. Dead or alive bugs everywhere. Flies on the windows,seats ripped even crickets inside and a moth too. Food was the only OKAY thing here. I would come back ONLY if they get rid of all these bugs. If not then probably not then. read more

Dropped in on a trip back from Florida, the waitress Kortney was very nice and kept coming back to check in on us immediately if she saw our drinks getting low. Chefs got the food done and out to us quickly, and it tasted pretty good too. I got eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast, hashbrowns, and bacon, and it was all well cooked and nice. Pretty calm in there, fairly clean and the sound of cooking and sizzling is always nice. Shoutout to Kortney though, she did a great job. Came in at 12:45pm on a Friday, so if she's there then leave her a good tip. read more

Filthy. Walked in, sat down, got up & left. Tables were full of dirty dishes and no people. The one empty booth we sat at was not wiped. Booth next to us was set up with a full spread of McDonald's food (so employees must not even eat there!) Immediately left after seeing exterminator spraying everything around us. read more

Would give less one if possible. 1/4 star maybe for running water and 1/2 a star for not discriminating against employees or customers. Driving from IL to FL we saw TONS of Waffle Houses! The kids were talking about going every day on vacation. We had never been to one before. Decided on our way home we would stop to check it out! Stopped at this...ahem...establishment. They were busy. We waited ten minutes just to try it. Not a problem, we have waited in lines much longer for better food. Two families in front of us. Maybe less than 10 tables in the whole place and only one held our family of 5. Family before us got up from the table. We waited another 5 minutes for the table to be cleaned off and wiped down. We sat down just thankful to check it out. If you want amazing service...do not come to this location. Waited 5 minutes more for someone to even acknowledge that we were there. This place is NOT big. Other guests started to leave and finally had a man come to our table. Name tag did not have a name. Said " RELIEF MGMT". He laid out 5 paper napkins In front of each of us. Put a butter knife, spoon and fork on two napkins, a fork and spoon on one napkin and only a spoon on the last two. I thought maybe he was just a little slow so I left it. Mind you, laid our spoons out holding the concave part with his hand and not the handle. Gross. We are not judgmental human beings. However, his hands were extremely dirty and we could hardly hear him. He didn't tell us his name, ask us what we wanted or say much of anything. He looked at my looked at my husband and just kind of pointed. He opened his mouth a couple times to kind of repeat some of what we said. During the order another employee came up and started talking to him about a tip that was left for him? He stopped listening to us and just started talking to him. Reached in front of him and laid a $5 bill on the table. The other employee left and he looked back at us like no big deal. Finishing up our order that same employee came back up reached in front of him again and whispered something to him and laid a few more dollars on top of the $5 from earlier. Our "RELIEF MGMT" looked at him put his hands up kind of confused and laughed and shook his head. I don't know if he really listened to our order or what had really happened. We ordered three American Breakfasts all with bacon and two kids waffles meals with bacon. When we stopped talking he looked down at our ticket he was holding and then just walked away. During this time the remaining customers paid and left. We were the only customers left. We looked around and ALL of the employees had left. We couldn't find anyone. The place was filthy and there was one small table that had been cleaned off from earlier but we couldn't find a waitress or waiter in sight. Not sure if Waffle House has employee break times together maybe? About 20 minutes later. A waitress came back in and went to the sweet tea dispenser, that was NOT COVERED with any type of lid and poured herself a drink. Didn't say anything to us just went back to the kitchen. I walked my daughter to the restroom and noticed a couple of employees through the door eating and laughing. Guess it was more important for them to eat than us. The restrooms were disgusting. Not just an oh we have been busy, but like it might have not been cleaned in months. Anyway, we waited for our food a good 25-30 minutes. Which came out piece by piece out of the kitchen. Not all together AND we were NOT asked if everything looked ok, if we wanted syrup or anything else for that matter or really anything at all. They just handed us random plates of food. There wasn't room on our table for anything else so we had to make room ourselves. The waiter forgot one plate of crispy bacon and when I asked he said I brought it to you already. I said I'm sorry we only had 4 plates. He turned around and screamed "bacon" towards the kitchen and left. We got the bacon once we were finished with our meals and had to ask for the check. The food was okay. Nothing special. None of the bacon really looked cooked completely through, eggs were good. Waffles were VERY VERY thin. Kids got chocolate chip waffles... The chocolate chips were just poured in a pile on top. Husband said the Sprite was good. We will not be visiting a Waffle House again. We kind of laughed about our visit after we got in our vehicle. But for $40 of food, I could have stopped at a Panera or Denny's or anywhere really with better service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unless they had a homeless eat free day or something. For the general public, this place really needs to be evaluated. read more

They need to start hiring people that still have a few brain cells left. Service is ridiculous and they cant even get your order right.

I first would like to say this is not a smoke free establishment! I repeat this is NOT a SMOKE FREE establishment! Was on our way to St. Louis and saw there was a Waffle House and who doesn't love Waffle House!? So between it and Cracker Barrel we chose Waffle House. Walked in and at the time they weren't that busy. Went to one side and saw there was an ash tray on the table. I didn't even know this was a thing anymore!? Waitress walks up and greets us. I begin to ask her about the smoking side she tells me the other side (which is very small) is non-smoking. We had just come from that side and all the tables were dirty. I begin to tell her this and she said she had to clean them. Why wasn't they cleaned after the customer left? So we walked back over and sit down she begin to clean the table off. As we are deciding what to order (because apparently now they have like 5 different menus and only give you one to look at) I over heard our waitress tell the cook that he needed to keep it down and act professional that they had customers. I found this to be a little strange because you would think people would know how to act at a business (guess I was wrong). So the waitress came back got our order. As we are waiting for our food we heard something that sounded like the breaker had been flipped and the hubs was sitting on the side where he could see the cooking station said that something blew up. I guess this made the cook have enough and decided he wasn't going to cook food anymore called the manager out and he started cooking. The noise we had heard was to do with my omelet. So after the manager started cooking the hubs food finally came and me I'm just sitting there waiting on mine. The hubs was completely done with his food before mine even thought about showing up. The waitress bless her heart I know tried to apologize but by this time I had decided I didn't want anything to eat and we should be on the road. I took 2 bites of my food and got up to go pay for what I didn't eat. The waitress pulled me aside and said the food was on them. Because of all the issues that had happened while we were there. As I was leaving all the waitress and the manager could do was talk about the cook in front of customers. I feel like that is very unprofessional and anything that happens with another employee should be dealt with behind closed doors. I would avoid this Waffle House at all cost. It's filled with drama and not the best workers. So the reason it gets 2 stars is due to my waitress as she did try. read more

Big fan of waffle house. My girlfriend worked at one for years, so she's a good judge on service and quality. We stop at many, and consider it a treat. That being said, this one is meh. Service weird, bacon burnt beyond recognition. Throw in smoking, and you get two stars. read more

The food was standard. The cook was on his phone the whole time. He messed up our order. The waitress was very helpful in getting what he left out. She shouldn't have to do his job, yet she could have done better than him. They ignored us when we came in. The sausage does not look like the picture, it was mangled. All star special...got cold gravy , the chewiest of brown scrambled eggs. Asked the waitress to remove the two items because I did not eat them and she argued that it was impossible for the gravy to be cold...normally a big fan of the waffle house but stay away from this shit hole!!! read more

I came in one evening after a 12hr drive. The waitress was helpful and patient with my questions while wrangling her child nearby. She accommodated my request for the chili to be in a bigger container for my take-out (as I had some leftover fries for dipping!). The man making my food was cleaning before he cooked my requests, and was really quick about it. They gave me extra crackers, nothing was salty, my coffee was great, and they deserved the 21% tip. read more
