We went into this Waffle House and didn't get acknowledged for a good 7 minutes of sitting at the bar. That's unusual for a Waffle House. We left and went to another on down by Malvern that was superb. They need to work on their customer service as that is what feeds the restaurant. read more

It is not the Ritz but a nice late night stop. I pity the server who was all alone and slammed. She was very courteous and apologetic for the delay in taking our order but our food was served to us very quickly. The prices are some of least expensive anywhere so the value is good. read more

Stopped here on a cross country road trip. It was my first time at a Waffle House. Food was surprisingly delicious! The service was amazing. They were very attentive. My husband and I both got our drinks refilled. I ordered the cheesesteak melt with hash browns. Super yummy. I'll definitely try other waffle houses. read more

We went here on Thursday night March 17, around 10 pm. We sat at a booth. We sat there for 30 minutes at a dirty table. Not even a "I'll be right with you." NOTHING. She continued to wait on the other people, ignoring us. When she did take our orders, she STILL didn't clean our table. Our food was cold. My omelette was half cooked. The cheese wasn't even melted in it and the egg was not cooked all the way. The grits were so hard that I could cut them and eat them with a fork. The hash browns were burnt and tasted like old oil. The toast was cold. The table STILL had the previous persons trash on it as we were eating. Well as my husband was eating. But his bacon was burnt and his hash browns were nasty too, and toast cold, I guess his waffle was edible. I took a few bites of my food and put my fork down. The only thing that wasn't horrible was the water. We will NEVER go here AGAIN read more

They place was packed and we stood in line for our turn to be seated, they even had a door greater taking names. After 20 minutes most of the restaurant started to turn over and EVERY person that came in after us were seated first, and the greater acted like we were invisible--- we stood next to her the entire time we waited. A long-time favorite since their food truck days in Benton. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. The guacamole cannot be beat. A personal favorite is the shrimp quesadilla. Staying nearby for work. I've stopped in 3x now and won't be returning to this location. All three times I've either had to remind them that they hadn't served my coffee yet or I didn't get it till after I got my food. The cooks are lost, dazed and confused. The shortest wait time was 20 min and I order 2 scrambled eggs with hash browns and toast. There's ALOT of chitter chatter going on instead of doing their jobs. Yesterday the waitress was so involved in the conversation that even though I asked 3x for a refill on my 1st cup of coffee she never filled it!!! They did an odd thing with this waffle house. They tore it down about three years ago and created one that was almost exactly the same size. That was odd, but it worked because the new one does not have the grime the old one did. It is cleaner and that makes eating here a better experience. The Waffle House, of course, is a diner where you can get great food for not much money. I almost always get coffee, a pecan waffle and an order of hash browns with ham. The staff is friendly, the prices are great and the food here makes a great breakfast. While Waffle House serves a lot of burgers and that kind of thing, I really can't comment on any of that because I have eaten breakfast at the Waffle House since I was a kid. The Benton Waffle House, to be precise. The place has been consistently good for years and I can't pay it a higher compliment than that. read more

I can't say enough awesome stuff about this place. Your plates are always full of comfort food and the ease of the atmosphere is always welcoming. But, what I really want to say here on this review is that I never realized that FEMA utilizes Waffle House as their gauge for various disasters' predicaments and intensities. That is absolutely amazing! My kudos goes to all of your organization for FEMA using your restaurants as their measurement and that inevitably, when such disasters strike, the organization sends ASAP your board of directors to 'put boots on the ground'. This is a phenomenal cohesive effort and feat that other companies should applaud! Great job, y'all. My hat goes off to all of Waffle House. It's something really special.... read more

Living in Georgia, I've been to a lot of Waffle Houses and I have never seen one as well ran as this one. The employees were great and helping each other out, the restaurant was clean, and they seemed happy. Congrats to this manager and their employees! P.S. Posting this on behalf of a disabled veteran colleague of mine who visited this establishment and an account from his family here verbatim: "My dad has served in our military for more than enough years. He has been to Iraq and Afghanistan plenty of times throughout his career. when he came home from his last duty we as a family realized he was having some trouble physically and emotionally, just a few months ago he got a service dog. Her name is Recon just still young but allows him to keep moving with day to day struggles, especially trying to forget what he has done over seas. She helps him get up in the morning and calms his anxiety down when needed, his PTSD has decreased since he had her....she's really a life saver. Now my dad and I love Waffle House but he was rudely kicked out of the Benton, AR Waffle House by the manager Mary Ellis for asking for some water for Recon. She declined his order and he's not allowed back. Now if a restaurant isn't courteous enough to realize what our military does for their life than I believe they shouldn't have business or be under new management. The Benton, AR Waffle House does not deserve any respect for dishonoring our military. God bless our troops!" An addendum: My colleague contacted corporate regarding their policies on service dogs. They told him they've done nothing wrong, but according to their own policy and the ADA they were very wrong. I contacted corporate for an answer and how they plan to make this right. I received nothing. So I am trying to let everyone know what Waffle House stands for in regards to disabled veterans and their service dogs. Based on my friend's treatment in this restaurant, I don't expect a very amicable response to this. My purpose for posting this is not to get an amicable response at this point; I think we are beyond that since I gave them a chance to do so a week ago. Stopped at this Waffle House for lunch with the kids while on a long road trip. As we sat down my daughter announced that it was her birthday, and the super friendly staff just made her day. They wrote happy birthday on her drink cup, brought her and my son paper Waffle House hats, gave her a free waffle coupon and brought her piece of chocolate pie. She felt very special. Food was good, service was quick, restaurant was very clean, and bathrooms were spotless. We'll definitely stop here again when we are passing through! read more

This has always been my favorite Waffle House, but they've recently had it renovated and it's so awesome now. The staff is great, the service is quick and friendly, and the whole place is spotless. I just love all their breakfast foods, especially when I am craving them. I have also always been very pleased with staff.

Absolutely horrible. I ordered hash browns and was eating them and in them I found a package of mayonnaise. We didn't have a choice but to sit at a dirty table which the waitress did clean for us. When we went to pay the check my husband showed them the package of mayonnaise and ask why it was in my hash browns and the only answer he got was the cook said it must have fell in and she put the hash browns on top. If that wasn't bad enough the manager just shrugged her shoulders and walked off and as he was leaving the cook yelled out to come back if you ever want any mayonnaise. Would never eat here again!!! read more

Clean quick and kind. Gone are the days of smoke filled Waffle Houses. Cook put on quite a show as he fixing our meals. Some folks came in and said they had a blowout on the interstate, you would've thought they were family the way the staff treated them. read more
