We came in on a Friday night around 7pm with 2 kids after trick or treating and they were hongry and rambunctious. They love coming to Waffle House for the food and experience. Or service was quick and the food came out fast, hot, and delicious! The extra crispy waffle and scrambled eggs with cheese is always my go to. We have no complaints at all about our experience! Listen I mean this is something that needs to be fixed pronto. As someone who's worked in the service industry for a while and never dealt with nor seen behavior like this, y'all need some serious fixes with the jimmy dude who cooks in the Arlington Waffle House. He was incredible rude to the servers and just downright has a filthy mouth. Swearing and yelling the majority of our visit. Not to mention he went to sleep in the corner while there was another table waiting for food to be made. I've ate at numerous Waffle House and never once seen this behavior or been treated this way. Waffle House has a bad reputation as for how customers are but I've never really thought the way the employees acted was bad but 'jimmy' really made his impression to me and my husband. I came to bring attention to his behavior but if I'm being honest with it if you're gonna have a cook make sure they can actually cook and not burn toast to the extent I'm scraping coals off my chicken melt and somehow managed to leave my bacon raw for the most part. I wanted to score this location a 1 but I don't want to be a petty Betty. I'm disappointed that this location is less than 3 months old and it is filthy. I have come early morning 2AM with only one guest in the building and it's still not clean. -Trash on the floor (guest seating area) - Waffle batter on the wall, on the prep table, & everywhere on floor -Visible trash bag on the floor with trash running out on the floor -Employees wiping sweat with apron and not washing their hands I came back a few weeks later midday and it was worse. -All the above points were still ongoing -Employwe dumps hot water on top of trash in the floor and begins to mop (while the cooks are preparing food. smh just nasty and disgustin. I immediately asked for a refund and told them to keep the food as it was visible that the water splashed on the preparing area. So far so good! And it should be at this stage. Fully staffed and looking to land a good impression. The goal will be to retain that form of consistency. I hope they do. In this day and age it's hard to keep employees on the roster since many don't want to work. At 1:45pm they're running with what looks like a 12 person staff. Which is unheard of, so I assume some are vets of WH and the rest are the trainees. As for the service...the waitress actually didn't like the "look" of the coffee (as it had been on the warmer for a while) so she had fresh coffee made. They're quick to clean tables down immediately after the customer has vacated the table. They're also knocking out orders as fast as they can while keeping them accurate as well. The food. Look, it's all brand new, patrons. If you see a mess? Think of it differently than poor staffing. Maybe the trainer didn't give up on the trainee and that mess is their success. It'll be ok. The equipment is still newer. Need sweeping? Mopping? Dishes? Take a second and think of that trainee who spent all day being taught, then give 'em a moment to get to it when they can. Plus, it's Waffle House y'all, c'mon. But- I'm struggling socially and I was there Xmas Eve, on call with my (long distance) fiancé and he can't wait to come try it out. Wanted to try and support the local corporate business in town. Expectations weren't that high on breakfast and sure enough didn't disappoint. If you like greasy spoon food slopped on a plate then this place will not disappoint you. You really can't expect much from the waiters or the cook who probably cooked in prison. read more

On June 3rd around 930-10, Lady on charge of table assignments, seems to be the Mgr, on red polo, was not keeping with the order of arrival. When a table was available, we were told by other people waiting that it was our turn, so we went to sit. A few minutes later, the Manager on red polo, asked us to leave the table because it wasn't our turn. She showed us the list where instead of asking name, she listed my wife as "braids". This is very unprofessional in addition to the embarrassing moment when we were asked to leave the table. Service is usually good, servers are friendly but one person can change everything. It's good to know that our town is getting more restaurants in the near future, we will have more options. read more

Went by at almost midnight on a Wednesday, 11/10 service especially for a slow time! They answered the phone, were polite, everything was right and hot, and the hashbrowns were FULL! He was covering the grill for an employee that was late, mopping the floor, getting us coffee, and reminding a server to talk quietly all while I was trying to wake up. Me and my wife have been waiting to try the new Arlington location of waffle house for months and finally did last night around 9pm. We came in and sat at a booth and sat for 15 minutes and weren't greeted or even have an employee come to our booth, even though there were 6 employees behind the counter and only 3 booths with people sitting at and 2 young ladies at the counter, needless to say I've never seen 6 employees at any waffle house ever and I would say poor service if we had actually gotten any so we left and went to taco bell. read more
