Menu for Waffle Cabin.. Yikes!
Bryant A.

I don't know if it's the warm waffle while skiing/snowboarding that makes it taste good, or if it's genuinely delicious, but this spot held it down on the mountain of Killington. $6.75 for a waffle with chocolate drippings plus $3.25 for a hot chocolate make for an expensive treat, but when there's no competition, it is what it is. You want a waffle and hot beverage?!? $10 it is!! Good stuff if you're out there in the cold, and it's only right you enjoy your waffle and hot beverage outdoors to get the true experience (in my humble opinion).

I highly recommend that you get in line at least 20 minutes to spare on a busy day. Waiting in line was definitely worth it to have hot and toasty crispy waffle with chocolate topping on it ($5.50) I love their waffle and hot chocolate. It warms you up on a cold winter day! I'm sure it's good in summer too!

Waffles drizzled with chocolate! So good! Always fresh and made perfectly with a nice crisp. Awesome treat when you're snowboarding! These little Waffle Cabins are located throughout the resort. Cost about $4.50, if you're getting it with chocolate. *Cash only. Chocolate is extra.

This strategically placed cabin serves freshly made waffles and various winter drinks like hot cocoa. The aroma of butter wafts through the air and towards the massive lines awaiting the K-1 gondola. It's actually cruel because it makes the line just that much more unbearable. The wait for the waffles vary, but sometimes it can take upwards of 10 minutes, which is a long time! However it's usually worth it. The hot waffles drizzled with chocolate will satisfy your craving. But sometimes the sticky nature of the waffles are hard to get off your gloves and face. It's not the cheapest waffles you'll get, but it'll be the most convenient at your most desperate of times.

quick and delicious treat after skiing down the mountain! Workers were friendly and efficient and I would definitely visit again! I recommend getting the waffle with the chocolate drizzle :)

Sugar, chocolate, and calories. Nothing like it after some good runs down the hill. Waffle cabin's a freaking tradition.

All their pancakes are amazing, even though with my sodium issue I only get a taste of my husband's. My ole favorites were Pumpkin and their classic Sugar & Spice with the perfect amount of sweetness and spice mix. I wish they would serve saltless grits! That would make this girl happy! I only eat a couple of the potatoes, they are very tasty however salt is used or the rest of you wouldn't be eating them....am I right! Of course, my eggs were cooked perfectly! I keep forgetting you have ice cream! They also have many local theme items for sale and don't forget to not head home with Vermont's local Maple Syrup! If you came in March you will get to see the sap being processed into syrup!

After searching reviews across four states, Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice was clearly at the top of the list. Three hours after leaving the Boston suburbs, we pulled into the parking lot. The scenery was beautiful we were hungry, and we were happy to be promptly seated by our friendly host. Every positive thing you read in the reviews is true. The staff is friendly. The food is plentiful and wonderful. However... we were not seated in the main dining room. We were brought to an auxiliary room on the west side of the building. The most dominant feature of the room was the white interior sloped ceiling, barn-like wood paneling occupying about two-thirds of the horizontal portion of the walls, and a few coffee mugs and small photos resting atop the paneling. There was a small casement window in the center of the southwest wall. This room had all the charm and natural light of a church basement in Indiana. The comparison to the main dining room is stark. The main room has a view of the grill, and is filled with all the syrup and souvenirs they could possibly fit into the space. The main room is as funky and fun as the auxiliary room is sad and depressing. Will we go back to Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice? Absolutely. The food and service was wonderful. However, we would insist on sitting in the main dining room. If you go, you should, too.
