Standard waffle with simply too much sugar and not very crunchy, beware of this overpriced waffle

DELICIOUS! Perfect size and at only $4, priced well! They even had a couple hoola hoops to play with, and some benches with an umbrella

However, we had gone on its closing day and had some great tacos, salad, and ramen. Their birria is rich and meaty with a touch of cinnamon and was awesome as a ramen and taco. Service was efficient and drinks were cold. Guess I'm just writing this to keep my Yelp numbers up...

If you are a lover of well done birria, this is your place. Craving authentic Mexican food? Yep, this is your place. We started with their chips and salsa. I think you can tell a lot by the salsa at a place. Lemme just say, I was so very happy! Their salsa wasn't too chunky, not too thin and they are not afraid to season and add some heat - but hey, don't worry it wasn't too hot if you've got a dad like mine who isn't a fan of "too much spice." Such a good omen. I couldn't decide which marg to try so ordered a flight. Best decision ever. Even as I write this, I'm still hard pressed to choose a favorite. They were all so good. Add street tacos, quesadillas for my mom, elote cob, and switch fries for my dad and we were all happy campers. The flavors were obscenely good. Staff were amazing and stopped by to make sure we were always taken care of: fast and friendly. Best combo ever. The place is also super cute! Loved the bar and simplicity of the concept. Switchback has a quiet elegance while be so very casual. Perfect in my book.

I've eaten at the Durango Diner since my college days, forty years ago. Being in the area I was…read morebeyond happy to see it was still open so our final breakfast for this brief trip had to be here. The restaurant is tiny, a narrow shotgun type unit in a building along main street. We managed to get one of their five tables and were promptly served drinks and time to look over the menu before ordering the Country Benedict. My coffee was kept filled as we waited for our order. As soon as the plate hit the table, I knew that even though the owner had changed, the spirit of the place remained. The plate of food was massive; more than the two of us could eat. The plate included two halves of an excellent biscuit, half of a large sausage patty on each, an over easy egg; all smothered in country sausage gravy. The other half of the plate had a mound of beautiful browned hash browns. Enough for four people or at least two very hungry people. It was glorious and nostalgic. The flavor was everything I wanted it to be. If you are in or near Durango, please consider giving this true old diner a try. Thanks to Greg, the new owner, for continuing Gary's recipes and hospitality.

We stopped in for breakfast when we didn't realize there was an art festival going on in the city of Durango, so we expected it to feel crowded, busy and rushed. They found a table for us right away (part of that was lucky timing on our part), but provided great service.... Answering all of our questions and asking where we are from and overall friendly service. We all ordered the breakfast burritos and it was better than what we expected. I highly recommend the green chili sauce they smother the burrito in.... It's super tasty! And in the end, the price was lower than we expected.... So, great environment, great food. 5 stars! I would be happy to come back to this one!

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at New Sheridan Chop House on our last night in Telluride,…read moreand it ended up being the best meal we had during our entire trip. We started with the steamed mussels served in a heavenly coconut broth, along with the shrimp cocktail and squash blossoms. Every appetizer was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The coconut broth with the mussels was especially memorable. It was so delicious that we wanted to savor every last drop. It was one of those meals where everything we ordered just kept getting better. For our entrées, I had the Skuna Bay Salmon and my boyfriend had the Colorado Rack of Lamb, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. We genuinely enjoyed every bite. I had mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, and the restaurant went above and beyond by complimenting a flourless chocolate cake for his birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect way to end an already fantastic meal. And then there was our server, Marissa. She was absolutely lovely, warm, attentive, and genuinely wonderful throughout the entire evening. Our water glasses were never empty, and she even scraped the crumbs from our table. Those little details may seem insignificant, but they make such a difference when you're enjoying a special dinner. Marissa provided exactly the kind of thoughtful, polished service you hope for when dining at a nice restaurant. Our table was also lovely. We were seated with a view overlooking Colorado Avenue. It was late and quiet by the time we had dinner, but it was still a nice view and added to the charm of the evening. From the food and service to the thoughtful birthday gesture and our pleasant table location, everything about our evening at New Sheridan Chop House was exceptional. Without question, this was the best meal we had in Telluride. If you're visiting Telluride and looking for a restaurant that delivers delicious food and genuinely attentive hospitality, I highly recommend New Sheridan Chop House. We would absolutely return!

The outdoor patio is pet-friendly, so we were able to enjoy breakfast outside with our dog, Luna. We both had breakfast sandwiches, and they were cooked perfectly. The English muffin was especially good and really made the sandwich. Since we placed a to-go order, we didn't have much interaction with the staff, but everything was ready on time and the overall experience was smooth. We'd definitely recommend it for a quick, delicious breakfast in Telluride.

It was pretty busy for a weekday around 10 a.m., and there seemed to be a constant line of people ordering. I got the breakfast bowl with eggs and summer vegetables, and unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. The veggies had almost no flavor, and there were pieces of asparagus that were so tough and woody I couldn't even chew them. The bowl was also supposed to have sunchokes, but I honestly didn't see or taste any. Overall, it was just very bland. I also ordered a flat white, which had way too much milk and didn't really taste like a flat white. The milk didn't seem properly steamed and it almost tasted like cold/warm milk had just been added to the espresso. The one thing I really enjoyed was the homemade pop tart. That was actually delicious and easily the best thing we had. Overall, I found it pretty pricey, although I know that's somewhat expected in Telluride. For the price, though, I was hoping for much better food and coffee. The pop tart was great, but unfortunately the rest of the breakfast was a miss for me.
