Ran into this place in Union City and it has soooo many options!!!! The service was amazing! She even gave us a free appetizer to try. We had the chicken waffle cone with fries and there are a variety of sauces you can put on it. I chose the honey soy which was great! My husband had the chicken sandwich which he said was great with Parmesan fries. He also had the shrimp ramen bowl which he said was good. The macaroni and cheese with popcorn chicken was good too. We had the strawberry splash drink and the passion fruit lemonade which both were great! Only thing is that they don't have water bottles for sale which was strange. I finally came here and of course for a pick up. The order took about 15ish minutes. I ordered 2 waffle cones, 1 waffle box, taro and black milk bubble tea. The place is nice and cute. Great for the high schoolers across the street. They had k-pop playing on their TV while I was there. Service was good. Obviously it's a chicken and waffle place which is why I was there but man what a big menu! The honey soy chicken waffle cone was okay and the syrup made it better to dip the chicken and waffle into. The meal also came with a side of fries. This dish was sweeter than expected but it did not disappoint. The chicken is dark meat and prepared in bite sized pieces similar to karaage or chicken 65. The marinade was more sweet than spicy, chili sauce adds a nice kick. The mozzarella stick was thicker than your average and has more of a baked and less crumble coating. I prefer this style actually. I left the sugar crystal coated waffle and sliced strawberries for breakfast the next day. This was tasty and you could see that this was a freshly made waffle vs something previously frozen. I ordered the Mac and Cheese as well. This was the first time I've had it served with a slice of orange and pineapple on top. There clearly is an emphasis on sweet foods here. This was creamy and unexpectedly delicious. I also ordered the coffee with strawberry popping boba. This was good but entirely too sweet after this meal. Food wise I ordered Corn Nuggets, Honey Soy Wings, French Fries, Shaken Tea with Strawberry Pops and Passion fruit. Everything was good. This is mainly to let you know they pretty much take over the big square set up under the umbrella, so if you and your friend park it there you may need to move to a different area when your food comes. The 8pc honey glazed wings were too sweet and saucy I think I still prefer Bonchon. The Mac and cheese with the beef teriyaki was amazing . We order the sesame pork with the waffle and that was just ok. The pork needed more flavor and was a bit hard to chew. I would prob try the Kalbi next time. The waffle wasn't crisp so I wonder if it's because because it's a take out? My suggest would be putting it a container and not the paper box, maybe it will contain some of the crisp. I really wanted to love this establishment but unethical business practices I will not tolerate. After looking at the menu online I placed a order for 3 items that was displayed on the happy hour menu (1 sweet pepper cone, and 2 of the soy chicken waffle classic platter) and was quoted a price way over what was advertised. I go to the location to pick up my food and see the happy hour menu being displayed as well for $6.99. So I ask the cashier what is the difference between the happy hour menu and the regular menu. She then goes to the back and ask a guy who I assumed was one of the chefs and Comes back out and says nothing just the price, I said ok and informed her I called and placed a order for pick up. Shortly after my food is ready,she rings up my order. I look at my receipt and ask her why did she charge me regular price when I inquired about the happy hour price she then says ohh I thought you were asking because you wanted to place another order :-/.. unbelievable. She then goes back to the guy who comes out and gives me $1. At this point I have had enough, I wasn't going to argue about overcharging.I get home and realize she got my order WRONG. I specifically asked for the chicken waffle classic platter over the phone 3xs which is advertised for $6.99 everyday from 11-3pm HOWEVER I was given 2 of the honey soy box with waffle for a total of $19 and the sweet pepper cone for $7.95 total coming to $28.74. I find it very strange that the cashier had to inquire if they were still doing happy hour when they had signs posted in the establishment. Highly disappointing I will not do business with businesses that OVERCHARGE there customers. read more
