Scared shit-less, I pulled over 20 miles outside Waco in the middle of nowhere. Initially thought I had somehow popped my tire, but it turned out to be my partially ripped splash guard scraping its way down the highway. Decided to hedge my bets, drove into Waco, called ahead, and he kindly met me at his shop. He looked under, cut off the splash guard, and assured me the dripping fluid was AC condensation. They had us bring it back in, but wanted more money to then fix a different part. That is when my husband wanted to talk to the owner about why they fixed the other part in the first place and why they were charging so much more. Due to the owner's attitude and combativeness, we were reluctant to leave our car there any longer and just picked it up.
