I was having problems with my A/C in my 2005 Jeep Liberty, thought it was the compressor or the belt. The first one, just turned on the A/C and said it was the compressor without running a diagnostic test on it and was going to charge me $700-800. The second one charged me $130 for an A/C check, said it was a blend door problem and said it was going to cost me $1,200-1,800 to replace it.The third one I went to three separate times to get them to give me an estimate, but they kept saying there was no mechanic there, he only worked 2-3 hours a day, and they told me over the phone that it would cost $1,200-1,800 without even looking at it. It was the blend door actuator that had not been hooked back up last November when someone else replaced my heater core, and my A/C drain plug was blocked and it was causing the water to flood the right side floorboard. It only cost me $90 for the total repair. The mechanic, Tony, was very nice, totally honest and straightforward, the service is awesome, their repair costs are very reasonable and low cost. I really would recommend him to do all your car repairs. He doesn't take advantage of you because you're a female, like three other repair shops in McLennan County. read more
