He also changed the battery in my vintage Cartier watch! I'm so happy I found this cute jewelry and repair store! It's off Hwy 98 at Lavender Lane in Daphne. When we walked in, it was liked we just entered another realm. We were greeted by Megan Barnes who was a breath of fresh air. My wife wanted a gold chain so she could wear a diamond pendant of my mother's engagement ring diamond. Megan did exactly what I wanted any jewelry store to do, put my wife on a pedestal and treat her like gold. She helped find a chain, cleaned the diamond pendant. Checked my wife's wedding ring for loose diamonds and cleaned it. We are looking forward to coming back and have her check her marquis Emerald ring also. I was thinking it's been 30 years since I have been in a jewelry store where the customer felt special. Then the frames on the wall said it all. Five consecutive years of "Best in Balwin County" awards. I knew where we will be coming for anything jewelry in the future.

I returned to the store on the following Monday and requested that they "make it right" The owner refused to fix it. As far as he was concerned the item was ruined and he did not know how to fix it and since I walked out of the store I accepted it. I had the item re-plated and engraved somewhere else for $60.00.

It didn't fit, so I had to get it sized (2 sizes down) the lady sent it off and said it'll take 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, we get a call and they said they can't alter a ring 2 sizes down so they have to order a new one, which would take about a month (The lady who sent it off should have known this). Anyways Alicia was very helpful, and got me a new ring in the same size and I only had to wait a couple days. So thank you Alicia.
