This Waba is OUTSTANDING. The young ladies there have very great customer service. They are very patient. The food is delicious and served fairly quick. A lot of people write bad reviews for this location but I have been going here for years and I have never had an issue!!! read more

Worst service ever by the manager. Gave dirty looks every time I asked her a question. Should change the manager

I want to slap tf out the fat woman working the counter today 01/02/2023 at 12:09. I hope you see this. It's not my fault you chose a customer service career path. The least you could fucking do is acknowledge a customer period. A customer should never be able to walk into the store and stand at the counter for several minutes without being addressed. It's the basics of customer service. Literally. I hate that Covid changed the dynamic of peoples work ethic. read more

Nice friendly service and I took a peak at their floor and grill and was well sanitize and organized the food was fresh and well done !! I'll be coming here again and not at one on la Sierra fosure ! read more

Great food and great service. I really enjoyed my visit here. Christina was delightful and nice.

Customer service is bad I ordered ahead of time because I was in a rush and when I got there my order wasn't even made yet, I had asked one of the girls for lemons and hot sauce but she didn't even pay attention because she was too busy talking to her coworkers. Worse customer service experience that I had. read more

I had to write a review of because the staff here was just so kind. Service was prompt in the food was amazing I highly recommend 6 1/2 out of 5 stars read more

This is probably the best WaBa Grill I have visited.. Great first impression.. The restaurant was clean, and we were greeted with a smile when we walked up to order.. The young man who took our order unexpectedly brought the food to our table with a friendly smile..(other WaBa grills don't do that.!) Oh and the food was nicely presented and very fresh! read more

When I'm on the go and don't have time to cook , I come here. I like coming here but the only downfall about this place is that the young lady in the register is always in a different mood (either very sour or sweet) these last couple of times she's been very sour, I haven't been here in almost 6months. Besides the bad attitude I haven't had any problems with the food. read more

The three stars is for the customer service I received from Kathy. If the food wasn't so delicious, it would have been only one or two stars. I explained to Kathy that this was my very first time eating at Waba, and therein lied the missed opportunity; she could have (and SHOULD have) used that to be kind, helpful and informative. Instead she chose to be rude, snotty and condescending. Upon coming home to eat, I was disappointed that my rice, veggie and tofu bowl (I added avocado - yum!) didn't come with ANY sauce on it. Information that would have been helpful. When I asked Kathy at the counter about the different sauces, she said (in a snotty tone that suggested I was inconveniencing her) that they have "Waba sauce". I then had to further ask what Waba sauce is, and she said it's basically teriyaki. Of course, I assumed from that conversation that the bowls COME with teriyaki sauce. They don't. Good thing I just happened to grab a few sauce packets from the counter. With that said, this was truly a DELICIOUS lunch. So good! I called and spoke to manager Arturo not only to tell him about how yummy my lunch was, but also to convey my disappointment with my experience with Kathy. He couldn't have been any nicer and apologetic, and offered me a discount on my next visit. I appreciated him being so kind and hearing me out. Because of that, I will be back. read more

This waba grill sucks. Came here and ordered a chicken bowl, the chicken had a gray almost black color (not cooked right or old) and it also tasted very raw. I had a stomach ache after eating it. I wanted to say it was only a one time mistake but I decided to give it another try and same thing happened. Please save yourself time and money and go to another Waba Grill location. read more

The chicken was dry and rice was soggy. It's fine sometimes orders don't always come out the right way. My biggest issue here is theirs no reason to have terrible customer service, cashier female (young) makes no face expressions and just gives off a rude vibe. The staff in the back just look miserable as to probably why my bowl wasn't that good. I will be driving out now extra two miles just go to a different one from this point going forward read more

This spot sucks! Can't remember a simple side of avocado! Called and told me to come in they would fix my order for there and told me something completely different don't recommend! Be careful with Alicia she will charge your order wrong! read more

The review is only for the service offered by their associate Bianca. She has terrible customer service. Makes you feel like you are an inconvenience to her coming in. I don't recommend that experience to anyone. Needs better training. Hopefully this location invests in customer service training skills. read more

I complained about this utensil being in the condiments and it was left there. This is very unsanitary, and this is why people get sick. read more

This review is for the quality of the food. I ordered a Chicken veggie bowl with brown rice and honestly the chicken tasted like ass. I don't eat ass but you know what I mean. I just think they need to get better chicken here. It was so dry I literally had to drench my bowl in sauce to eat it. Message me when you guys get better chicken and I'll be a regular customer again. Shoutout to the girls working here they both greeted me and were pleasant, again this review is for the quality of the food. Flame Broiler is waaaaaay better than this. read more

The people who work here are the best. I actually lost my dentures and they went the extra mile to unravel the mystery. They wouldn't let it go and called me back hours later to say they found them. Saved me $1400. The food is good and every time I eat there they take great care of me. I can't praise this place enough. read more

What a great place to eat absolutely amazing food I was down training for a week and stumbled across waba grill and I most definitely wasn't disappointed in any choice, also all the choices are healthy and amazing staff I just wish they'd open one in Camarillo CA, Ventura county I'm sure it would be a big hit read more

Arturo was Amazing!! He could clearly tell I was sick and showed he cared. Offer me soup and all.

The worst WaBa Grill meal, the steak was just some tiny pieces that look like scraps from the grill

The food is always fresh! Our order is taken quickly and the staff is very friendly! We're come here often for the 2 for $10.98 chicken bowls! read more

Best waba experience I had thus far!!!! Thanks Arturo! Went above and beyond for my complicated order!!

My first visit at this location and the experience was awesome! Every employee greeted me and Auturo came out to the dining area to check on everyone. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! read more

I've never had a bad experience at any of the million Waba locations I've been too, but I've also never had such a pleasant experience as the one I had today and this location. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, everyone had a smile on their face. Thank you Arturo! read more

Arturo and Isabella got this location ran like top notch professionals. Expect kind, fast and fresh everytime

After trying Flame Broiler, this food is kind of mediocre. The menu items and setup are similar to Flame Broiler in that you can customize a bowl with rice, veggies, and different types of meat or tofu, but with the addition of salmon and shrimp. I ordered a bowl with half veggies, half brown rice, and salmon, and everything in the bowl was over cooked. It wasn't awful, but I think I'll stick to Flame Broiler for this type of restaurant. read more

Five stars is not enough for this location. Aside from the food always being on point, today they exceeded my expectations. Rochni went above and beyond by helping me take my takeout order to my car since I had my hands full with my grandson. Thank you Rochni! read more

This Waba ain't too Shaba! Okay doesn't really rhyme but it's true, this location is a good one. We placed a phone order because you know how much easier it is when you walk in to a faster food place and you can make it even faster by calling it in. It's always a little bit of a toss up because you take a chance getting your order wrong. Well the associate that helped me was friendly and he seemed to take my order right and repeated everything back to me correctly. When we got there the parking was pretty good. Typical strip mall with shared parking. The inside of the store was clean and had the station to pack our own sauces, jalapeños, and even green onions! We loaded up on everything. Our order was ready for us when we got there just like we master planned it and we were off. When we got home we were all happy that our bowls were just the way we ordered and all tasted good, fresh and hot. This Waba has it going on and we will be back for sure! read more

It was totally my fault! I ordered lunch with a dear friend who has health issues that I hoped to accommodate and when the order arrived I realized my mistake. For myself I could accept my error, but not for my friend. Waba Grill's employees handled it with an owner's mentality - not giving away the store yet giving us what we needed. I will return EVERY time I have the opportunity! A clean restaurant with quality food and excellent employees! read more

Excellent customer service. Professional, great team at this location! Will be back most definitely

The male workers are rude each and everytime I come here. Maybe stop talking to each other and listen to the cashier when she is calling out the order. May be don't make the customer feel stupid, like they did something wrong when the worker asks a question that the customer didn't even request. read more

This is my favorite Waba Grill location. The food is always good and the service is always great as well. Arturo is a very hard worker and deserves a raise. Thank you. I'm a very happy customer!!! read more

This is a newer location. Its spacious, clean, and convenient! Food is on par with other Waba Grills and no conplaints as of yet. Only gripe I have is that if you get your bowl without veggies and just rice it will be $1 cheaper. I find it almost insulting to get charged $1 for 2-3 pieces of broccoli as I don't eat Cabbage or Carrots! Lol oh well. Thanks for having Avocado and a reasonable price though! Kudos for that. read more

I would give them 6 stars if i could! I've worked many years in retail and I know how hard it can be to run a fast pace store smoothly. I've been coming here for lunch about 6 months now. This place is always very clean and EVERY staff member I've interacted with is extremely friendly and professional. I like how attentive they are to their customers and they do seem sincere. In particular, the manager Arturo is super friendly and from what I've seen he goes out of his way to make customers feel welcome and supports his staff very well. I don't usually review restaurants, but i felt compelled since the experience here was so positive and a great example of how a restaurant(even a fast food restaurant) should make you feel. Thanks for making my lunch hour better Waba! read more

Wonderful experience eating here every time! Food is always fresh, all tables and chairs are clean, as well as restrooms. Good place to eat in general. read more

Yummy! Steak n chicken delicious! They have tofu too! Great food here! And they work fast too! orders ready in no time!

It was my luck to discover Waba Grill on Van Buren in Riverside. I visit my family here a few times a year; and after the long flight from Miami (and a day of airport food ), I am always looking for a healthy, fresh, and tasty meal when I get into town. Waba Grill serves just that. The food is delicious! Super happy to find the perfect place in Riverside to make my first meal stop. And by the way, the employee service is excellent and the dining room is bright and airy . Love this place! Carol Castro Miami read more

I've been to many wanna grills but none will compare to this location. I wasn't paying attention to the time and I came right as things were closed up , and the super friendly staff took me in, took my order and served me something just as fresh as it would be during lunch hr. It's a shame I live so far from this location cause i would be a regular. Highly recommend this location to everyone. read more

Friendly staff, and the cleanest WaBa Grill I've been to. The restroom was very clean as well!
