The girls working morning shift on 2/18/21 at 11am are super slow /skip orders and are not organized . Order was placed at 10:30 am I arrived at 11am asking for my order . After I saw 5 customers order and get there food in front of me I asked the extremely rude cashier if you can give me a update . But all she did was say "there making it " with a ugly face as I said I know I remember when I got here but 5 people just passed me . And she once again said there making it . With a even uglier face . I asked again "can you PLEASE ask them for a update . And with a very ugly face she told the other workers I was here again and to no surprise my ticket was in dead last of all the orders . And the cook lady called me of the "puercos order ?"meaning the jerks order ? But I never was a jerk and just wanted my food in a timely manner . So I want the cashier fired or trained and if she has something to say to me I can go back and she can say it to my face oh and ***i got my food at 11:30am an hour after I order for a small bowl and 10 dumplings HAHAHAHAHAHA UNBELIEVABLE. The location is awesome the BEST out of all of them along with a very clean and tidy place. They ALWAYS know my order since I am a regular ordering anything on the tofu menu, but usually get the tofu plate as usual and greeted when I come to the place. Also, I met the manager Arturo, who is very polite and respectful to customers like myself and others. Lastly, they make sure everything is not cross contaminated since I eat the tofu menu everything is cooked and cut separately to make sure everything comes out perfect. read more

yuck! We love Waba Grill and eat at other locations frequently. This visit to Van Buren location was so disappointing! We paid for avocado on both our bowls and realized half way home they forgot to give us avocado :( The chicken was overcooked and had a nasty burnt taste. Never again! read more

SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. I had been wanting to try Waba Grill for some time and was totally disappointed. We ordered the combo plate (steak/chicken) $8.50 and I requested brown rice on both. We got home and opened the containers and couldn't figure out what the heck was the blackish brown lump sitting on the rice next to the chicken. OMG - it was supposed to be steak. It looked like cat food and tasted HORRIBLE. My husbands combo came with white mush instead of brown rice. Needless to say - won't be returning. read more

Ate here with some coworkers for lunch yesterday. Me and my coworker ordered the waba bowl and I think the chicken was undercooked because both me and him got sick. I'm still feeling the after effects, but my coworker didn't even show up to work today because he was so sick. I've never had issues with waba grill and I think they're food is great and healthy, but this is unacceptable. read more

This is my favorite Asian Grill place. The food tastes really good. It has a larger variety of meats and rice and veggie and other yummy meals. I would recommend this place for anybody that likes barbecued meat and rice and veggies. In a separate bowl you can get Avocado or you can get it on the meal. read more

Bad KNOCK OFF of oh no Hawaiian barbecue. Chicken is so dry they have to drowned it in teriyaki sauce just so you can get it down. Vegetables are almost wrong. This is not a restaurant for a man. read more
