5 stars for Maverick! He gave outstanding customer service and really stood out. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of quickly and correctly. You can tell he takes pride in his job and cares about the customers he helps. Employees like Maverick are the kind of people that make you want to come back to a restaurant. I hope management sees this because he definitely deserves recognition for the way he represents Baker's. Great job, Maverick! read more

Baker's Drive-Thru - Maverick - Burgers Near Me - Riverside, California

The quality has gone so far down from Baker's of years past. We have been customers for decades but the quality of our order last night - just taco burgers and fries - was just too abysmal to give them a pass. The bun was stale, the meat was greasy and flavorless and a magnifying glass would have come in handy in locating the cheese. It got 2 stars instead of one because the fries were hot and crispy. I truly hate to say it because our family loved Baker's but it's just not on our rotation anymore. read more

I think it's ridiculous that I spend $45 there and they want to charge me extra for ranch. When he said that to me, I told him I wanted a full refund because that's crazy. They already charged me 80 cents extra for extra crema on the Cali fries, after opening it didn't really look like there was anything extra. The fries were dry and tasteless. Would never go there again!! read more

CLEANLINESS/HEALTH/SAFETY I came in and ordered one day and watched the manager make a burrito. halfway through she grabbed her phone (no gloves on btw) used it and then proceeded to grab a tortilla and continue preparing food without washing her hands/or using gloves. Absolutely insane and disgusting, never coming back. read more

Ordered with a $100 bill I offered to go buy something and come back so it wouldn't be a hassle but a worker I believe his name was Andi was so helpful and kind he greeted me when I walked in and was so polite during and after my order and just his service alone makes me wanna just keep coming back to this location. Matthew and Jose were also very kind and helpful definitely recommend read more

The food is always good. But I just have one issue, and it's the drive thru speaker. It's a regular occurrence that when we speak through the speaker, they can NEVER hear us. And they always end up giving us an attitude for it. Well dang, if the speaker was fixed, we wouldn't have communication errors. Along with wrong orders. So please look into fixing your speaker! Other than that, the food is great! read more

When I arrived at this restaurant I was greeted by an employee who was leaving, She opened the door for me too! The lobby was/is clean. Looking at the menu, WOW! Their budget meals are very reasonable. Especially in todays economy where the cheapest meals (breakfast and lunch) are $12 and up I ordered a burrito budget meal, 2- bean burritos, small fry, and soda! Food: meh, nothing spectacular but fills the spot. My 4 star rating should 4 1/2 due to the budget menu. Can't beat their PRICES read more

Value - poor, paid $10 and received very small portions. Quality - beef in my street taco was a straight salt bomb Self ordering menu - difficult to use. Napkins - none given in my Togo order. Next time I'd rather starve than come here (Edit). Response to restaurant's response ... Critical thinking management with a 2.6/5 star review would have anticipated my napkin comment, avoided potential unfair reviews, and POSTED signage re the new napkin law. But we all know that at 2.6 stars, there's no critical thinking going on here. One star review now reduced to zero for petty correction of a customer on one issue of many just so you can feel better about yourself. How low you will go is readily apparent. My other matters .... crickets. TIP: Apply your time in getting better instead of sword fighting with customers about napkins while you drown in incompetency. read more

If you want bad service come here This is the worst bakers around, every time you come you get a bad attitude or their shake machine is broken. Right before closing, how convenient. I have always loved Bakers! Today I went to 1 that is not my normal place After a year of not having a double baker Papa meal I was looking forward to it very much Unfortunately the location i went to, on Magnolia in Riverside was the worst experience i ever had at Bakers. My order consisted of the Papa meal, cheese and ketchup only plus 1 additional single burger also cheese and ketchup only. Neither burger had cheese and I received 2 single burgers. Definitely didn't even taste like Baker's Burgers Needless to say I will not return to that location read more

This Bakers is the worst Bakers there is. Every time I've been here (which is frequently because my house is around the corner) the drive thru is backed up and slow. I've gone to busier Bakers and still experienced a faster drive thru. This manager needs to figure out wtf is wrong. It doesn't matter what time of day either. On your way to work notice your early and need some breakfast? Don't stop here, you'll be late to work. Midnight snack so you want to come get a late night happy hour meal? Don't come here, you'll be home sometime in the early morning. Does Bakers have market managers? Compare your drive thru numbers here to every other Bakers and I guarantee this one is the lowest. Whether it's the people or the fax machine they're using to to transmit the orders, something has to change. This bakers is in a prime location with a university behind it. But I guarantee kids don't eat here because they'd be late to class. Oh and by the way, Indoor dining is open now in Riverside county. Why isn't your dining area open or at least give people an option to not order in the slowest drive thru ever and come inside to order!? Come on bakers, you're supposed to be better than this! read more

We don't usually go here because fast food is always old tasting. Needed so.e quick food and stopped here last week. We got a reg Bea. And cheese burrito meal, and chicken sandwich with green Chile. Everyting was so fresh. Thank you Bakers on Van Buren for.aki g me want to go back there! read more

I went through the drive-thru and Amanda was outstanding and helping me even allowing me to add a chocolate shake at the window since no one was in line. It's her warm and friendly attitude that will keep me coming back. As for the food, my chorizo and egg burrito was tasty and cooked perfectly and the tater tots were hot and crispy just like I love. In 2018 I had a really bad experience with an employee here and hesitated going back but Amanda has turned me around. read more

Horrible customer service and way overpriced for food (if that's what you want to call it) I can't believe you guys actually charge that much $13.08 for a so called chicken burrito that's the size of a taco and small fries and drink with your $1.19 taco... (taco Tuesday) what a disgrace I will never go to a Bakers again. I should have known better and went to in&out around the corner. Would have had great service with fresh food for less money. Sooooooo disappointed in myself for deciding to stop here over In n Out. I haven't been here in over a year and thought to myself, why not? Well, I got my answer! My burger patty was so overcooked and dry, which confuses me as to why my cheese wasn't even melted! The bun tasted like it was sitting out all day and the fries were not fresh and overcooked. Makes sense as to why I was the only person in the drive thru. Worst $10 and some change spent and I totally regret it. I didn't get a receipt otherwise I would have taken a survey if one was provided, but maybe I didn't get one for that reason. I couldn't even finish the burger. I have had better at a backyard bbq where the patties have been sitting in a casserole dish covered in foil for an hour. The only positive thing to my order was the habanero ketchup. It tried its best to mask the taste. Don't ever get rid of the stuff, it's a lifeline and this place needs all the help it can get. Don't pay attention to the single star up top. Giving it was the only way I was able to leave his review. read more

Ordered the classic chicken burrito make it big... And what a small, crappy, overpriced mistake. The chicken was a cut up chicken Pattie in three slices that was COLD. The chicken wasn't even heated up enough and all I got a was a mouth full of cold chicken and sour cream. Not to mention the burrito is mostly tortilla... The two tacos that I ordered were completely cracked up and had to eaten with a spoon. Also went on National Taco day and their special was $1.80 tacos instead of $2.29... How generous of them! read more

This used to be my go to location, but the last couple times haven't been great. I went tonight and my hamburger patty was less than 1/4 inch thick. I've had slices of ham on a sandwich that were thicker than the hamburger patty they served. I won't be going back to this location. read more

Stopped for a quick lunch on the way home from Palm Springs. This is the nicest Baker's I've ever been to. Excellent service, very clean and attractive. The papa combo is too big for me, as I found out. I got about 6,000 fries, and ate about half of them! :) It was a bit challenging to find via my navigation. It was trying to send me down a driveway on the California Baptist College campus, which would have worked, but I didn't think it would so I made a series of u turns. This review isn't fair to Baker's since I've never eaten there. I gave them three stars since it's in the middle. An article about "budget meals" in Press Enterprise that included their name brought me to Yelp to check them out. With independent restaurants and smaller chains charging $14 or more for a burger meal, and raking in 5 star reviews, Baker's might want to reconsider sacrificing quality for bargain basement pricing. These days $8.99 is a bargain for a burger meal. Why not charge a little more and provide better quality and get better reviews? At the moment, Baker's doesn't sound or look appealing enough for me to even try. read more
