However, there's one issue that I really don't understand: the chicken is often so hot that the Styrofoam container actually melts. I've noticed this more than once, and it makes me concerned about what may be transferring from the melted packaging into the food. If the food is hot enough to melt the container, why hasn't Cane's changed to a packaging material that can safely handle the temperature? I really like Cane's, but this is frustrating. Am I supposed to bring my own food container every time if I don't want to worry about potential exposure to chemicals from heated Styrofoam? I hope the company seriously considers switching to heat-safe, food-grade packaging. The food is great -- the packaging should be, too.

It's always great to find a place that gets the little things right, and Ruby's definitely did! The chicken was a standout for me. It was tender, juicy, and cleanly prepared with none of the fatty bits or cartilage that can sometimes ruin an otherwise good chicken meal. Every bite was enjoyable. The fries were just as impressive: piping hot, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and soft and pillowy on the inside. The ranch was also packed with flavor and paired really well with the meal. My only minor complaint was the signature sauce. It had a much stronger peppery kick than I personally enjoy, so it wasn't for me. That said, taste is subjective, and everything else more than made up for it. We also tried the cookies and cream shake, which was delicious and a great way to round out the meal. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely polite throughout our visit. They checked in to see if we needed anything without making us feel rushed or bothering us unnecessarily. That kind of service goes a long way and really adds to the overall experience.
