Went to Market Street last Sunday to visit our all time favourite Chinatown Cafe...CLOSED SUNDAYS, when did that happen? Panic, what to do now..enter the market foodhall and Vung Tau and a bowl of Pho became the solution.
Traditional Pho came in a large bowl with plenty of mint, coriander, beanshoots and chilli to taste. Broth was subtle, if a little sweet but a few slivers of chilli took care of that. Only interesting touch I'm not sold on was using slivers of some type of sausage mixed with the traditional beef. This may be a variation I hadn't seen before, or a cost cutting measure. Not sure.
